A good example of Raven's progressive matrices. If you just want to test yourself or learn something about this kind of test it's a good, simple app. I doubt the accuracy of the scores and the app is under-featured compared to some others, but it's small, simple and fun.
It was different, I like it
130 at 17 years made in less than 20 minutes.
Fun and easy, not an accurate IQ score. I scored perfect in 18 minutes first try, got a grade of 130. I wanted to see if time was considered, so I ran through it a second time and completed the answers in 4 minutes and still received a 130. 59 very easy questions and 1 difficult one, that I had to take a few minutes to figure out. I have an IQ in the high 130s or low 140s, most internet IQ tests score me 150s, this one seems like a lower estimation, at least for me. But that probably has to do with the cap limit.
I'd say there's a few too many questions, and perhaps the harder ones should come sooner or more diversely mixed. If like myself you get bored easily or have the wife start moaning because you aren't giving them 100% of your attention, then you can get a little distracted towards the end. Also having read a few of the reviews, I find it amusing that lower ratings come from the frustration of low results...
By the way, the raven test has lower scores than other IQ tests. As in, on an normal IQ test you might have 100, but this you may get 90. I can't remember the specifics, I looked into it ages ago. Anyway, the app is good, works well, and I recommend it as it takes up very little memory too.
Fun and easy. 3rd try I answered all the questions in 2 min bc I already knew the answers still only 130 in the 16+. Can't get faster bc my old fingers are too slow... But kids can get higher. So I think they just adjust the number for age up to 154, 147, 139 for the other age groups.
I'm not sure how accurate this is, since it only tests ability to recognize patterns, and I've heard that this test only goes up to an IQ of 130... But I think it's still pretty good for an IQ test app. It's hard to make an app that can find one's IQ perfectly... Oh, and my score was 130, idk how because I got a few wrong.
Quick and fun. You m0rons around here need to chill, its just a game. Also, please stop with your 150 iq's. I highly doubt I'm surrounded by geniuses, and if you're an average kid like all your peers, you don't have anything near 140.
Can't imagine anyone taking it seriously. We used it to play against it other for bragging rights. Those who are trying to compare it to their real(of course of the charts) IQ should consider how dumb they truly are, it's a fun game that's all nothing else.
For those of you who don't know.. Time is not a factor in the Raven test. You are given 30 min so that even somebody with ADHD( inability to focus long periods of time on a single task) could complete it. This test is used in many schools, same questions, same name (RAVEN). A person who scores 115 or more, is considered to have a superior inteligence (but not GENIUS )
I scored 114 first time around...that is actually almost spot on seeing im not a nuclear physicist and all. And for those who say 130 is maxium IQ there is no maximum IQ (though its probably around 260) if you do it quick enough you should get a higher score.
...since it told me I have superior intelligence, how could I rate it lower then ;). Altough it would be much better if I could check the right answers in questions which I failed, but maybe I just can't find the option ;)
Excellent for rough intelligence quotient. Infelicitiously it has one shortcoming, it only tests pattern registering areas of cognitive ability.
Took me 20 mins and it was incredibly Inaccurate... It was about 40 of my real IQ (profesionally tested)
I don't know if it was because I made a 50 & 52 on the times I did it but I quite liked it. Not the best thing in world, but enjoyable.
It got close to my average IQ. But it was just pattern recognition. Still, for a free app, it's worth the memory.
It's simple enough, yet complex enough. I would've concentrated, but I don't have that patience so I'm sure it's rather accurate so long as you're honest. I've taken a variety of IQ tests, and they end up scoring the same as I got here. I'll say that's pretty valid.
Its interesting... but bullshit my iq as accurately measured was 168 i got 125 on here, slightly off
A basic IQ test based on patten recognition. Works well, but could be improved in a few spots; Ideally, people will want to see statistics and information about their IQ, which this app does not offer.
I recognized every single pattern correctly in my first try, in under 10 minutes but i only got an iq of 130. I think it can be higher.
Trickier than you might think. I scored 51 out of 60 which in this rating is pretty good. All pattern recognition. No verbal. No math. Enjoy!
I agree w/the standard deviation, Its not a Mensa test, however overall it's a good application. Now, Mr. Farrell, your arrogance & ego is really something. Your IQ is 12 points higher than the 90-110 points the avg. person scores. Anyone whom needs brag about their superior intelligence is likely not all that superior at anything. A true genius knows his IQ, but won't brag, there is always someone much more intelligent. My son and my combined age is 49, our combined IQ is 334, But that's according to MENSA.
Tried it once. It crashed on me without giving me a result. Don't feel like doing it again.
I've taken IQ tests before using this app and my IQ on this app is pretty much the same. So the app works properly and that's not broken
I got an IQ score of 130 (one wrong answer) in my first attempt which is pretty accurate. For people complaining about the score not going higher. This is Raven's progressive matrices and not exactly a general IQ test.
It's alright, the patterns seem pretty easy so I'm not sure if the app loaded 55 easy patterns and 5 hard ones(I even doubt if its up to 5). I got 120 and I've heard the maxium cap limit is 130, I'm supposed to be happy but to be honest I didn't feel challenged enough. But all the same it's a great app.
