Ravencoin Wallet

I use it for my mining payments, but it is very very slow and sluggish, crashes multiple times. It takes about 30minutes to send ravencoin to another account. I've lost the trust in it because the bigger the transaction history, the slower the program is. At one point it would just stop working, with all my money in my account. I would really like this app, but optimisation is necessary.

Does what it says and keeps your RVN safe. 10/10 Most of the reviews on here seem like they don't take the time to read how to use this app and/or how to configure correctly. WRITE DOWN YOUR SEED CODE!!! Using this on my Samsung Galaxy s9+ and it works flawlessly. It takes time to sync with block chain, as does every wallet on PC or mobile. Able to send/receive without a single issue.

The app downloaded finally synced and I used the recieve address for mining. I hit a block yesterday and now the wallet shows nothing and will not sync. The transaction shows complete on the chain. This app is bugged and that is sad as it is the "official" app. Why have a messed up app? Just leave it to third party if it is not going to be fixed or can't be.

Syncing is extremely slow and doesn't update the UI correctly. It's fine if you get it synced but there's really not many features. UPDATE: Good lord it's unusable. Don't get this one, people. It just crashes if you have lots of transactions.

App has MAJOR issues. The only way I've found it to be usable is by transferring funds through the Address book. You cannot see a list of transactions for the wallet due to a bug that crashes the app whenever it trys to sync . The only way to let it sync is by leaving the app open for a bit, then send raven out by adding a wallet to the address book and sending that way. PLEASE FIX THESE ISSUES. I love Ravencoin as a project but this wallet needs some work. I'll gladly change to a 5 star

Syncing blockchain gets increasingly slower and nearly stops to a halt after 5 mins, and you have to restart app. If RVN is expected to reach over 1$ app should be at least working. Took me on average 5 tries to make transaction before app crashed.

Needs work. I find it stutters and lags quite often. Freezes fairly frequently and when entering amounts for transactions it often seems to do nothing then all of a sudden the numbers appear. By mistakenly sent 200rvn instead of 20 due to this. Hoping it gets improved sometime soon

Buggy. Sometimes it say that I'm not connected to a data source (wifi or cellular) when I clearly am. Other times the receive button is not responsive or it displays below the screen and I can't scroll or read it. So far, I have been unable to view my key or code to receive RVN.

Few features I noticed. 1. Creates raven wallet easily. And emphasizes in secure procedures.🙂⭐ 2. Syncing since I created wallet, almost 3 days now. ☹️ 3. Hangs a lot. My Android keeps on asking to close it. 😡 4. Zero balance. I guess till the wallet doesn't sync up I can't see the balance. 🥺

This new app is a failure. We cannot send without crashing. The moment I attempt to key in a dollar amount after scanning qr; the app closes. I barely managed to recover my funds to the forked wallet, and it's held hostage by this app. Not ready for prime time.

Had it on my phone and it just stopped working one day. Some message from the app about compatibility. Tried to recover my wallet on my PC but no luck. Now I've lost my RVN and haven't been able to recover. Maybe just stick with ETH this obviously has a ways to go to be useable.

Synchronizing takes forever and always freezes. Never finishes. Old app just closes when I open it. I have my backup phrase, but no decent wallet to enter it!! Now my RVN is useless. Can't access it or move it. Sad. Horrible app. Do not recommend.

The app is ok but there is a BIG issue, i can't take out my ravencoins because it keeps crashing when i go to the page where you receive and send your ravencoins, so i basically can't get any of my ravencoins, and i have a almost 3000 ravencoins that are stuck and i can't get out... I have tried resyncing and stuff but nothing works. Edit: this happened after i hadn't checked the app for a while. So make sure you periodically open the app, or else you will loose all you money

Don't even think about downloading this wallet app! Every time though connect to it, it takes hours to sync! Your coins are not lost. Get another wallet like Trust Wallet. Read the other comments below, they are very useful. Cheers ✌

Terrible. App keeps saying "tried to sync 6 times". Uninstalled, reinstalled, did not help. Does not work with WiFi or mobile data. Not a good app. Looking at the reviews, they don't bother to help.

Ok, I gave 2 stars because my coins can be seen on my previous phone Galaxy Note 10+ 5G,,,, however, using the proper security key phrase, it always tells me that the wallet is empty when it clearly isn't. The Note 10 tries to sync and fails every time. So when I try to send the money to my new wallet on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G, it times out when sending. Both phones use WiFi and 5G ability. So now I have several coins that are trapped in there and I have no support from devs. Plz help devs

No matter how many times I tried the wallet would not sync. It kept getting stuck around 55% it also took so flipping long! Like 6-7 hours to get to 55% then it would just fail and retry 6 times then just quit syncing..I don't know how much RVN coin I've lost from my mining rig because the wallet address I set went to a wallet that couldn't receive tokens because it wouldn't sync up. It's a shame that the "official" wallet is so broken that it's unusable. I moved to Trust wallet for RVN.

Great app, works as expected and able to use recovery phrase to activate the desktop version as well. Having this feature allows for multiple software wallets to be in sync.

What I like about this app are the simplicity and ease of purchasing digital assets within seconds. Then those assets showing right up on the asset explorer. I cant wait to see the improvements to this system. It would also be more fun to see more people using this app. Currently only 36 people downloaded this wallet.

Importing a private key with a balance from the previous wallet to this one leads to this one asking for over 90% of the balance in fees. This is 1000s of rvn. What happens if one can not import before the fork on Oct 1st 2019? Edit in response: no mining. 1 large purchase in Feb 2018. Another dev said the fees is a grammatical/ui error. Don't feel like rolling the dice. I am using qt wallet now -had to dl blockchain, convert bip32 phrase to key, edit console. Simple fix... ridiculous timing.

I've had the app for almost a month and I'm still only 40% synced. How are you going to have an FAQ section for "why does it take syncing to the ravencoin blockchain so long or not successful" and then not answer the why is it taking so long part?

So far, so good. I was able to easily transfer from my desktop wallet. Only issue right now is that it's been about 6 hours and it's still only 60% synced with the Blockchain...

Ravencoins main feature is the creation of assets. It really needs to be made much more simpler for someone to create assets and NFTs. Please develop it in mind that the average person wanting too create an asset hasn't got a clue what they're doing. The app itself looks a bit cheap and tacky; like a child's school project. The photo of that random black raven would look better with just simply having the Ravencoin logo.

The app works great. The only downside is the fact that syncing with the blockchain for the first time takes a really long time.

Have tried both this and the classic version but neither work on my phone, htc10 running Android 8.0.0 I'm told that's there's an error with the os? will stick with the cracking desktop wallet. Sorry I couldn't give it more stars but doesn't work for me.

Can't move past the except policies screen. It's just unresponsive I restart the app make it to the same point and boom again completely unresponsive. I'm on a Note 9.
