Razer Chroma

Chroma is decent. The main functions are here, letting you light up the back logo on the Razer Phone 2. However, the customization, which I'm always a fan of in software, is just not here. I really wish that there were more lighting options. Its just way too limited. It makes sense that they didn't expand the app with any updates, since the phone is pretty much forgotten by now (although it's still my daily driver). I still wish they did.

i was really hoping for something specilal. What you hope for: in depth pattern control and some extent of programming or music sync what you get: 3 "personalized" settings what you hope for: Customizable notification colors for Contacts calls and notifications what you get: blue for notifications, white for system notifications and red for everything else. its really underwhelming and dissapointing that this is what you get for $800 Also Dolby amd google assistant need fixing.

I love it, but it needs an option to create your own effect. I just see razer as a company that puts out there best, and the app is really lacking some options. It would also be cool to have greater customization of the existing effects, like color and transition time editing.

This is great but I also wish you guys could include a quick settings tile to toggle this on/off instantly! Edit: Latest update buggy. Even when turned off, the RGB randomly lights up with the new wave preset while locking/unlocking the screen. Even though my present was Static, AND it was turned off.

I almost love this... except that the 'notifocation' bit is waaaaay too sensitive... if I have ANYTHING in the drop down, it flashes at me, even if its just Google telling me the weather, or my music player showing the song thats playing. Really, really annoying! It should only light up when an app tells it to, not when theres any item in the notification bar!

Needs more options and control like too asign colors to apps that give notification.. Also an option to light up for charging and choosing color along with type of effect .. Lil touches like that would make it wayy better..take advantage of the cool logo lighting thing.expand color wheel. Also a bit buggy..doesn't do what you tell it too sometimes. Static can be waves,breathing could be waves etc.sometines needs to be (turned on / off etc) to do what it should . Color intensity does nothing 2

I love the feature, but it feels like it's only half of what it could be. It needs more customizations like animations for the logo, programmable triggers, and things like that. There's an alternative app on XDA, but you have to root your device.

Can't control which app notifications light up or what color per app. Having constant running apps cause light to run non stop. Only options are low, med, high, speed and style of pulse. Needs more options. Would be better to have light flow style control.

new wave addition is neat, but the biggest thing I've been wanting is the ability to change the chroma speed/frequency. personally, I feel this setting should've been an obvious setting to have already. can we expect this to happen anytime soon?

I got this phone and was satisfied for a very long time. However, I also got the common problem others seem to be talking about with the charger port not working suddenly. I was forced to get a new phone, as I was told by customer support it couldn't be repaired. Good product if not for that, I need reliability.

It's a good addition to the Razer phone, BUT it falls down on its lack of features and potential. If you could connect individual apps to colour, bind vips to colors and pulses this would be a excellent solution for a lot of people. I just wish Razer who I enjoy their products looked a little further in to this app.

It's a great app although it bugs out and I have to force stop then open it to fix. The problems I had were the wave effect stopping and resetting back to red and breathing doing the same but with the color of your choice. I fixed it by force stopping, but the bug is kinda annoying

Lots of potential, but with one major flaw. You cannot select the notification color for an app. As a result, 3/4 of my apps cause an identical blue flash which makes it impossible to tell which app thr notification is from. Add this feature please!

I wish it was a bit more customizable. Maybe if each application could have a different notification color? Or colors could cycle between just two? Other than that small gripe, it always works well. No problems with it so far.

I am using the Razer Phone 2. When set to Medium the logo should not be lit up unless a notification comes through while the phone is sleeping. However, every time a new song on Pandora begins, the light will turn on and remain on like i am usong the phone. If i want to stop this i have to either set the chroma app to low or turn my take my phone out of sleep and put it back into sleep.

I wish they would add a flame effect and slow down the default wave to enjoy the colors more as well as add more customzation for it such as choosing 2 or 3 colors for wave. All in all it's pretty good at letting me know what to expect when seeing the logo light up for notifications, good job Razer team!

I love this so far. It's a unique app that lets you change the chroma on the back. The only thing I wish was on there is the ability to make the razer logo kinda liked a battery indicator. Red for low before slowly changing to yellow at around 50 percent before then going to green at a hundred.

App is great except the circle colour picker is very buggy and the colours selected are very wrong around the red spectrum...half the time it goes pink or purple but not red for example. Side note it would be great if we could set Chroma light speed too.

After latest update it does not work right, turns on on the color I didn't choose for notifications and on the middle option it does not work after unlocking the screen. Had to delete updates and now it does what I chose before. Please review it, I have the latest Razer Phone 2 update.

Won't even pair with the Wireless Charger. Keeps saying device disconnected even though it's right next to the phone and is detectable just fine when searching for devices. A fix would be much appreciated.

Could use more customizability. I want my phone to feel like it's my own, and for something that uses 4% of my battery I feel like there should be more options like a faster flashing for a notification or two tone colors.

since last update cannot connect via bluetooth the phone and the carger. fix this now. 03/20: still waiting for Razer to fix the bluetooth connection issue between the phone and charger for this 2.5.199 version. until That happens i will stick to the previous one. 22.03: problem fixed. thanks 3 stars again. 03/31: same old issue again. no fix were Made to this version. im not install this app anymore until a new release.

Love chroma on the razer phone two. one thing though, can you add the ability to do something like the wave effect, but with certain colors that we choose, like blue to purple to pink, then repeat, to give an example.

Works for RGB lighting on back of phone, & detects the RP2 wireless charger for lighting customization (after some self troubleshooting; updated review). I don't really use notification function, but I know it lacks in color control. Overall, app serves it's purpose for the RP2.

Could be better... Still missing ability to define color according to type of notification. Needs ability to calibrate the color. Color set to white (#ffffff) in app, yet the logo is mostly blue.

New Waves function is good,but theres a bug that keep stuck the light at green. Turned off but still have the light. Thats why only 2 star. Hopes can fix this bug faster. Thanks RAZER.

Could be much better. I've found that my chroma turns off when I open my phone and unlock it immediately with the fingerprint scanner. Please fix so I don't have to open the app every time I unlock my phone.
