Many people have mentioned it in the review section for quite a while now. The app does not reconnect to the controller, each time you need to add a new controller and go though the entire setup process; will Razor patch the app or just keep ignoring us and keep it like this??? It's a $200 "E-sport" controller (50% of a new PS4) and I think it's not asked to much to ship it with a solid working app to programm it.
Ive already had the problem of the app not wanting to connect to my controller and I've barely had it for two hours, but if you connect it as a new device it seems to work. Can't figure out how to use the Chroma part of this thing, nowhere to be found, but i have the Tournament Edition so maybe that doesn't support it. Its funky but i got my buttons set up how i want them pretty quick and simple so 2 for that.
I love the feel of the controller and perfer this over Scuf. I suffered the drifting issue but registered the controller to my PS4 via Blutooth and that seemed to stop that issue. When the app connects to the controller its very simple to configure but after connecting to my phone the first few times, it will not connect. I feel this issue can be resolved relatively easily which would make this controller a must have for gamers. Better than more $ competitor brands. Great product!
Originally had issues connecting controller to the app but once I finally did it, found it super easy to map buttons to the paddles and extra bumpers. Now it's my primary controller for FPS games
App connects to my controller just fine. It would be nice to assign dual commands to one button, although I understand why it could cause issues in some games. But in games like Destiny where I have to press L1+R1 for my Super, it would be beneficial to move that to one of the shoulder buttons.
The general ideas and concepts behind the app are amazing, however, the app doesn't really do as it advertises. I haven't been able to connect my controller to reconfigure the mappings, luckily for the games I play where I utilise the controller I can already remap the buttons to suit my needs. It is a shame it doesn't work, would be nice if it did or the controller utilised an electronic remapping button like that of Scuff's. I really hope the app gets fixed, it's the only current let down.
terrible, very disappointed for £150 premium product. i have to re-install the app every time i want to re-map buttons. App does not re-discover controller otherwise. does not connect via Bluetooth to ps4. wait until sony makes one for ps5
Terrible app. Multiple issues connecting to the tournament ultimate edition. Not what you expect when you pay that kind of money. Having to uninstall and reinstall the app each time I want to connect.
simple to use and once connected its pretty good. I had to turn off bluetooth on my phone and back on again before it would connect. but after that all runs as it should
It just refuses to find the controller. Very annoying when they're right next to each other. It's not like my phone is in Spain, and my razor is playing hide and seek, And it's struggling to find it. To make a.mistake is human, But to really screw things up you need technology!
I have had to uninstall/reinstall the app literally every time I connect to the controller. I simply won't reconnect when I open the app. Why isn't there software to connect to a pc to adjust settings?
TERRIBLE. The app just can't find the controller. If you're reading this before you buy the controller, DO NOT BUY IT. It's a totally wast of money. What's the point if it's so inconvenience to remap your buttons? Not to mention that it's so easy to accidentally press the share button, which is deadly in fps games.
Why does the app have a connection failure error faster when Pairing and configuration mode is active? 🤣 the phone paired to it just fine but the app cannot? The app cannot find my phone, will there ever be a patch? Please keep me posted
Worked once when I set up the controller for the first time. After that it couldn't find my controller anymore, even though the controller showed up in my phone's Bluetooth setting
it is a very handy app but the only disappointment is that i can not change the stick sensitivity. the in game sensitivity is not enough because the sticks are super touchy.
In response to "Chims subtopewdiepie". I don't know what you're talking about. I just adjusted my stick sensitivity it's at the bottom of the screen below the dual shock adjustment. Love the app
Please upgrade software so I can use and have the extra 4 buttons instead of just duplicating what I already have. I'm running out of key binds to play war thunder on ps4 with DS control pad. I don't want to use keyboard and mouse so can you please let me bond the extra keys to what ever I want rather than duplicating them and I'll I'll upgrade my stars to 5. Thank you....
Doesn't work, can't find the controller when it's 2mm away. How can something so simple be messed up so horribly I only bought razer products before this. I won't be buying any more and will warn anybody I can tell away from this shoddy product.
This app is TERRIBLE! I got my Razer Raiju ultimate today and it connected fine the first time but then I want to change my rear buttons and the app wouldn't connect at all. So if you want to buy this controller and cutstimise it, your going to have to wait really long to customise it
I don't understand what people are talking about in the below comments but the app found my controller in seconds. I created my profile and mapped my buttons with such ease so those that complained about the app sounds more like a user error than a system issue.
Idk why it stopped working but now I cannot connect to my controller to do anything or sign in ... Just last week everything was reset on me and this week I wanted to fix it and now I can't even get in the app or my profile or even connect the 🎮 ..... What is this
Terrible. Have to uninstall and reinstall every time I turn the ps4 on just to get it to sync to the controller. Horribly inconvenient.
App either doesn't work or tells you how to connect it wrong, I cannot connect to the app at all. Support is a joke also, I am a customer and I get an email response to the issue I'm having saying that my email is phishing or scam, disgusting.
The app doesn't connect to the controller after the first time, don't waste your money on this controller if you want to map buttons as it doesn't work.
The app has a lot of trouble connecting to the controller. I've only been able to connect maybe 3 times out of 10 attempts.
There is no problem with the app itself, but it's tedious to connect to my controller, takes 9 attempts, so I don't make profiles for each game, just one
I love the controller but I can no longer use this app, it refuses to pair with my controller, the initial pairing is the only time it has worked. For the amount of money I paid I'm very upset
Used to work around 6 months ago. My Raiju Ultimate controller's M3 fell off after alternating back & forth between M3 & X (What M3 was bound to), so, I decide to just remap M3 to M4 but now It won't even show up on the app.
Trash app. Needs to be reinstalled every time you need it or it won't connect to the controller.
Had to reinstall 3 times. App doesn't seem to want to find the controller after the initial setup, so I've had to reinstall the app every time I want to reconfigure the M buttons to get the balance right in game. Other than that, it's easy enough to use and once you DO manage to get connected it does what it says on the tin.
