The app is okay but my experience with this company is not okay because my internet banking was disabled due to an error I made in answering the security questions. It said to contact the bank so a representative can enable my internet banking but the problem is there is an excessively long waiting time and I can not get throughto the bank at all to rectify this issue
I really hate this app. when I was able to log in to my account directly online, transaction history showed starting balance and available balance through transactions. now it simply shows transactions and the amount of each . Extremely difficult to keep track of my funds. For example, you would show me I spent $100 in the grocery and then just display and overall balance. I don't know what could have transpired on my account from the grocery transaction to the current balance displayed !!!
An app with great potential but has too many problems and outages. Using Entrust for added security should not require us to call in ,especially when the calls are not answered! Added security is a responsibility of the bank...we can update surely via the app without calling and without our accounts going offline. My password has been closed for a week, no one answered the phone when I called. Really I have the right to be compensated...
Excellent app, but I gave it 4 stars as it's missing what I think is very important as well. Push notifications, from the bank that appear in the Alerts section of the web version. The ability to get notifications when deposits are made would be welcomed as we'll.
Extremely frustrated...ever since the app was changed I have been unable to use it. Having to place an international call and never getting through to anyway is an expense and quite annoying. The when you go into the bank for assistance the send you back to call again and it's the same process all over again. The sign up process before the upgrade was easier and not as time consuming.
I had been trying for a very long time to get my RBC app to work, it came to a point that I just gave up. There has always been a problem when my phone does an update, and I could never log in, I went through all the steps to contact the bank, call the 1-800 number, had email replies, enough was enough, I stopped trying to use the app as it is very disappointing.
I can't change from paper to online statements on the app nor via online. Every month $10.00 comes out my account for paper statements. I can't get a six months statement. I'm not getting any notifications via the app. Before i used to get text saving my account has been credited.
The worst online banking app I have ever experienced. This is the second time in a couple of months that the system doesn't allow me to enter due to a supposed password failure. Last time it happened both to me and my wife, it's quite impossible it was our fault. I'm a professional and this is not the way to work. Now I have to go again to the bank and waiting inline to fix the problem they've created. So sad.
Not sure what happened but since the beginning of November the app does not open on my phone; I have to uninstall and reinstall it whenever I need to use it. It would work for one login and once I close it it would not reopen. The app worked fine before and I'm not sure if it only affects my phone I own a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 but it is quite inconvenient
I agree with Megan. Credit Card purchases should be in real time and/or alerts via email or text once your credit card has been used should be available. It also doesn't make sense having to wait 3 or more days to see an update of your credit card statement and most times it isn't accurate.
The company sucks, their customer care sucks, their follow ups on matters and concerns suck. but the app is easy and useful
For the last three days I have been unable to access my accounts on the app. I am able to log in, but the app keeps loading with no access. I called the bank and spoke to Ms Williams, who told me to log in from the website. That was successful, however this is option is tedious and I would like to access my accounts the normal way. Ms Williams then advised me to go to the playstore, bring up the app, and update from there. I did not get the option to update. Please advise.

How many times must I go in to RBTT to have online banking and no one contacts me back within a day or two to complete the process. I am now abroad my credit card account seems to be frozen and I cannot keep track of my transactions. I just called the international number only to be put on hold. Not professional at all. Very disappointing.
It's a great app to have only problem is if it's disabled( just in case it's not the account holder that's trying to get in) they take forever to get in contact with in order to regain access back into it...
App doesn't work on LTE. Doesn't log in or load. Only works on WIFI networks. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it many times still does not work while using data.
Since I downloaded this app, I cannot pay a bill from the app, sent NUMEROUS messages to the administrators to fix this problem, the responses I got was that "the app is working fine" and always given a runaround, to date the app was updated without change...... POOR and DISTASTEFUL service RBC.
This app is constantly having problems. I have been trying to log into my accounts for the past two weeks without success. This is frustrating. Fix this Entrust issue please!
This app has alot of potential, buthtere still [lenty of kinks to be worked out. 1. you guys cant assume that everyone who is using it has an iphone. 2. yes it is about security, but having to enter a code everytimne you access your account is hell. 3.a client should be allowed to download the both apps on a second device is they so choose. 4. timeout session could be a bit longer....maybe 2 minutes, max 5 minutes. if a client is checking and writing info and moves a finger off the screen, well its party time logging back in. 5. RBC marketing dept needs to advertise, advice and recommend on all media with their upgrades. What about the folks who dont do online banking? What about folks who dont rrust anything except for face to face transactions.
For two months I've been trying your 'contact us' 888 number with no luck. Its so frustrating. In one week I called early each morning expecting a human to answer but was on hold for 30 + mins each time. Poor, poor customer service. I can't conduct my business online so I resort to venting my frustrations with the bank's staff. Help!!!!
I love using this App but unfortunately I have been noticing that my atm deposits are not updated on my account or reflects the incorrect figure deposited. It is disturbing especially with the restrictions as a result Covid 19 and I need to have trust in the bank and App that my funds are safe and updated. I am loosing trust when I see my funds deposited are not reflected.
It's seems as the more people complain the worse it gets. Credit card charges and payments aren't even showing up anymore. You're not even seeing the correct balance anymore at least. Credit card should be in real time!
I can not sign in to online banking. I am a first time user and I got my account the same day and it is not work at all.
The app refuses to open and only opens after more than 50 presses, no exaggeration. It is very annoying especially when I need to use the app.
It's a good app easy to use it would be better if they can add details on money on hold so let's say I purchased Macdonald instead of saying like $8 on hold say $8 at Macdonald
App is lagging of lately,showing N/A balances sometimes,long loading time for each step clicked on,not being able to do money transfers to another bank....please sort it out.
I'd like for you all to put a fingerprint scanning option to unlock my account instead of having to enter a password. Other than that I have no problems with the app.
Hi when I enter my user ID and password, it goes to the page where I have to enter the Entrust code but it doesn't allow me to enter the code when I try to paste it in......no cursor comes up in the box so I can't even enter the code manually. Please advise me accordingly.
And here I am here again 2 years after with the same Entrust issue. Disappeared from my phone home screen, to realise I have to redownload because they changed the look of the app and some of the features. So I am here, in the middle of work holding to speak to an RBC representative. Why 2 apps to log into your account when one of the app is giving problems???
This is the most challenging experience I have ever had trying to connect to digital banking. The wait time for customer are extremely long and it is amazing that what should be an easy process is so difficult. Horrible customer experience
