Setup is terribly unreliable. Camera can't focus in on qcode enough to read it. I bought two of these RCA cameras ... First camera setup went perfectly fine, but couldn't get second camera to work at all ... gave up after more than an hour jerking around with it. So, app works about half the time, camera is lame looking and functionality of both app and camera leave a lot to be desired. Just spend a few extra bucks and get a nicer camer from a more reputable brand because this one stinks.
QR scanner not working, can't even add a camera because this function keeps saying "Error QR" every time I try to add a camera. And there is no way to manually input the info. Incredibly frustrating.
needs work. camera works but cant set schedule for timing. Cant edit files and multi select and delete. also cant combine out door cameras and inside cameras on same app. Dumb.
Drops signal too much. I have to close the app and reopen it to get it to connect again.
Horrible app stores data for later viewing but does not allow you to view crashes every time
This 'security' camera requires access to my contacts and phone to set it up. Uninstall and returning.
Pos app. QR detection to add camera doesn't work. I give 1 star because it doesn't allow 0 star review

Impossible to use
Do not purchase. Cannot connect without a 2.4ghz connection, and even if the camera says it's connected the app won't ever move past the connecting screen. Go buy a hardwired camera instead, these are junk.
The app logs you out too soon causing notifications to not work. Will randomly not connect to camera.
DO NOT BUY!! Connected once with no video. Turns off by itself. You have to log into app every time you want to "view". You have to be on the same Wifi as well. Useless!!! Bought today, returning today.
This allowed me to create an account but didn't ever allow registering rca door bell device. Had to use "rca security" app.
Unreliable. When I go to use it, most of the time it doesn't load the camera. Sometimes toggling SD gets it working, sometimes rebooting the camera or the network helps, sometimes I have to set it up all over again. The memory has to be manually purged when full, very annoying.
