RCM Loader
Root is NOT required, so most recent devices with USB OTG and USB 3.0 support should be compatible. Some USB 2.0 devices can detect the Switch in RCM but does not deliver the exploit. This is a limitation of USB 2.0 (EHCI) and cannot be fixed without a custom kernel patch.

After setting your Switch into RCM mode, using a USB-C cable and USB OTG adapter, you can easily load homebrew onto your Switch. The most popular payload, hekate is bundled by default saving you time. Hekate is a multipurpose bootloader allowing you to select other payloads on your SD card, backup/restore your system, boot CFW, toggle Auto-RCM and more! RCM Loader also allows you to boot straight into Lakka, granted you already have your SD card setup for it. However since hekate can load Lakka, it is no longer recommended and may be removed in the future.
If you'd like, enable "Auto injector" in settings to automatically launch when an RCM mode Switch is connected. Check the option for always using this app when prompted. Now even when your Android device is locked, you can plug in a Switch that is in RCM mode and it will automatically load your chosen payload.

The "Storage" app permission is required for RCM Loader to find payloads on the device and operate properly.

Please allow in-app or donation to remove ads, I really don't feel like I should have to use something "lucky" to patch the ads out when I would gladly pay to remove the banner because OCD. Other than that this app works fine but I would really like an option to either set the default payload to my own or hide the default payloads so only my payloads are listed.
So this is more a question than review. I was wondering if you need a certain android firmware to get this running. I have tried doing this with multiple cables and adaptors but none work for me. But either way the concept is really great and I'm sure the cfw switch community will love this app!
Works great on my note 8, even can have the option to automatically boot the app as soon as I plug my switch in which is neat. I honestly think this will be the main way I boot into hekate mode on my switch
Simple easy to use not used the auto function as its purpose of it's use on other hardware is still in an early stage. Thanks for making it an easy and great experience

I know this is outlandish as hell but I'd like to know is it possible to inject the payload into switch by putting a standard USB C cable into the dock connected to my phone and plugging the switch into the dock?
Works without fail every time, plus gives the ability to load different payload files. Tried and tested on Samsung Note8 N950F
excellent injector. gui is not that great, I would prefer a more minimalistic one, status display (waiting for device, etc), better log (timestamps, smaller chars, etc)
It works and all, but when I put it into my switch, it said no payload. I had the payload on my phone and it never worked. How do I do it? Once it works I'll change it to 5 stars. But PLEASE tell me how!
Read the instructions!! Worked perfectly to boot into CFW using payload. If you have trouble disconnect cable and download payload, connect cable to phone and switch, then follow instructions.
I'm running Android 9 on a OnePlus 5 and this doesn't seem to work for me (I've purchased various cables, USB OTG etc). Is there a compatibility list anywhere?

It doesn't work on Galaxy s10+. Everytime I click "Settings" the app crashes.
now worked for me, i had to put the otg adapter conection to the note 8 instead in the switch and the c usb side in the switch xD now works perfectly xD
Worked first time no problems! Not sure, but most not 5 star reviews for this app seem to be user error....must have V1 Switch that is RCM exploitable! If you know, you know, if not probably just leave this app alone!
Was getting tired of having to boot my switch from my PC found this app by searching Playstore and it works great for me.
Great placement of the ad. You can't add a file to load unless you put it in landscape mode. Idiots!

If your phone is OTG capable, then you no longer need a dongle. Just this app and type c to type c usb wire. Kudos to the creator of this app!
did not work i was unable to boot and had to do a full reset. for a second i thought i was bricked.

Console crashed on the bus. Remembered there was an old app (not this one) that injected payloads but no longer working for absolutely no reason. Had a USB-C to USB-C cable on me. Tried it and it worked! Simple to figure out too as long as you have the payload! Saved my ***, so thanks!
