"RCoid Pro" is the logical development of "RCoid Free". Both apps are fully compatible with each other and use the same online-database for your devices. Your installed and created files remain unchanged and can directly continued using.
Control contemporary all your equipment like tv, radio, receiver, light control, rgb led strip, reflex camera, air handling unit and many more without long loading time and wlan. The app provides smartphones with an infrared diode like Samsung Galaxy S Series, Medion Lifetab or HTC ONE.
The ad-free „Pro-Version“ now supports widgets. Like all other files you can create them fully free and according to your needs. You also can load a specific rcf-file by the widget. Lockscreen-widgets are unfortunabely not supported.
The database of RCoid-remote controls is growing steadily. Try, if an existing file work with your equipment. Often remote-controls from the same or sometimes also from a different producer are compatible with other equipment.
Alternativ you can create your own IR remote control. You can decide the shape, the size, the rotation and the color of the buttons. The necessary IR-codes can you find in the internet.i.e. http://lirc.sourceforge.net/remotes, http://irdb.globalcache.com/Home/Database, http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/codes/ or http://irdb.tk/find/You are supported with IR-code-generators for RC5, RC6 and LIRC-Files(without mention of a protocoll).

Brilliant app. Well worth paying to remove ads and get multi select for moving or copying. Have set up remotes for TVs, pvrs and home cinema using closest available from app then edit to match my remotes adding any missing controls and using IR codes off the web. Also added a remote with macros to control my 3 devices in the room. Only criticism is that there is not enough detailed help on using all the functionality and the help videos are in German

Does not control my visible it doesn't control my 18TDVR Box does not call control my rokia sound
The best IR Remote app is even better now with RC toy for phones without IR blaster. I love the customization and multiple protocols.
That fewer than 0.5% of the minimum reported number of free users has deemed this worthy of the price is sad- this is the best and most versatile app of its type I've used, and the widget feature is just perfect. Great app with excellent features.
This is the first app I have bought on Google Play, ever (in 3 years)! The free version's fine but the ability to select multiple objects in the pro version is worth the money. Plus the simple fact that this is a wonderful piece of software doesn't hurt either! It's a little difficult to find codes for some newer devices unless you use something like USB IR Toy to capture the codes. The author has, however, been extremely helpful in converting certain problem codes. Great support & great app!!!!
This is the most brilliant app. I have ever used. The level of control and flexibility is outstanding. Worth ten times as much!
I looked at a single remote for two devices. Both devices were supported out of the box and creating a unified rc is fairly simple. I bought the pro version next day because editing by c&p is more convenient in it. I.e. multiple select.
Harry end my search for 3 remotes with this flawless clone of remote app. Even the remotes look like original hardware. Accept no substitute to this app. Wonderful
While the UI looks quite clunky and dated by now, it is probably the best remote app I have ever used. There are a lot of profiles out of the box and creating new ones is quite easy. These two advantages place it over the other IR apps for me. There have been no other apps that supported my soundbar as well as this one for example. If your phone does have an IR-Blaster this is in my opinion the best app to use.
