RD4 Groovebox

This multi-touch enabled app makes it simple to invent unique loops and musical phrases. Manipulate the sound of the synthesizers by tweaking the oscillators, resonant filters and audio envelopes. Add audio effects like reverb, distortion, phaser, filter and delay to your sounds.
Appropriate both for experienced musicians and beginners.
Loops you've created and exported with RD4 can also be automatically integrated into mikrosonic's audio mixer app SPC

Mixer:

Choose between two virtual analog synthesizers and the drum machine for each channel:
Analog
- Modeled after legendary monophonic synths of the '70s

Controls don't all fit on screen when using Pixel 6 (and devices with same screen ratio) this means you can't program drum patterns. Shame really, as it seems a great app.
I make hip hop and digital r&b with this app. There is too much sampling goin on the music world today. All you really need is a few instruments. The app is perfect and the fx and oscillators give you a variety of different tones. Low bass, phased out melodies, distorted riffs, and the boom 808 drums. Im a producer and I cosign RD4 groovebox.
I purchase this app, but was never able to save or record anything, I create. This is why I don't like to buy anything from the playstore. And the developer quit responding after telling me to download it again. When I did, had the same problem. After that, no respond...
really rate this app, i use it more frequently than any other app, that frequently im a little guttered as there's not enough channels, hopefully in the very near future the developer could add at least one more channel and one more modular, again great app and respect to the developer 🎆🙏👍😉
Really cool app it's great for making quick loops drum loops and sequence patterns. I wish it could export to midi that would be awesome
Love the app prob the best one of found in the market. For nothing bad to say . one would like to see is more Variety on bass sounds and special effects. Thanks guys hope to hear from yah soon.
fantastic! the ease of use, the 808, 909 ect are all superb. highly recommended. drums & 303 bass emulation are top notch. use this a lot. helluva lot cheaper than an 808! 😉10/10.
As a longtime user of RD3, I wanted to get into RD4 for some analog synthesis fun. It's fine, but the touchscreen will register my finger about half an inch away from the intended area. Never had this problem on RD3. Moto G7.
I love this app!!! Is there any chance you'll make RD4 into a VST (or similar) plug-in? I have hundreds of .rd4 files that I'd love to continue working with in my DAW. I also think your software would do great in that merket. What would it take to make this happen?? Love and Hugs 🎼🎵🎶❤💕

Especially combined with Novation Launchkey Mini MK2, this is like the best live psytrance setup for the tablet.

Is there a version of this for Galaxy S21 Ultra? The bottom of the drum machine is cut off and can't be used on this phone. Help! Love the app!
Doesn't fit my screen after the update, yes I have tried to change app settings, but its no longer useful 😕
Have fluked a few loops. The subliminal message of them is what makes me give up. Dam tones.
Lost all my tunes when I broke my phone. Not backed-up so not able to recover hundreds of hours of music. It's like burning the Mona Lisa before anyone saw it.

I really used to love this app, but on my galaxy s10 the buttons are off. To activate anything in the synth or bass line you have to tap a little to the right of the actual input and it usually takes a few tries to get it right. Let me know if/when there's an update that corrects this.
best tb 303 emulator. it would be great if midi was simplified for controlling external synths and drum machine. 5 instrunments would make this a 5 star app. cheers
This was fun when I was 13, eight years ago. Messed around with it again - it hasn't improved much. This app is cool for the novelty, but the sound quality is obviously lacking once you put on some studio-quality headphones. Best for quick drum beats; kinda painful otherwise. The FX need major fixing. The distortion especially does not have a good sound whatsoever (I promise I know how to use it), and the 'filter' pans the sound left (???). Severely lacking a compressor or limiter.
This app is my favorite for acid it's just much faster than anything else for me even in the VSTi ones no it's not hyper realistic as a 303 but it's still does great acid sound and 303's seem to vary in their sound. I for one am glad to see something that has its own character. I can't stress enough how quickly ideas come out in this program. I was quite pleased to read in the description something I have long suspected, this is indeed the grandbaby of the legendary Rubber Duck! I just want to know when RD5 is coming? Would be way cool to have more kits and more velocity steps for the drum sequencer, and possibly some kind of pad generator, this is one of the most creative and FUN apps around I'd hate to see it die. Truly, it's the only app I absolutely must have on my phone, that's saying a lot since I have purchased quite a few of them.
I like this app alot. So much so I paid actual money for it. However the record function does not work. Well. It works but the problem is the file doesn't play back. Tried to upload to soundcloud. Also failed. Fix this issue so I can 5 star the app. Not being able to share the music is a buzzkill.
RD4 Groovebox This app is BOSS! I recommend it to anyone looking for a great rhythm sequencer machine. I would like a distortion fx but you can do that with the envelope filter. However it still does a fantastic job and is well worth its very affordable price.
Can't give 5 stars because it has no midi export. Wav export is fine but honestly, I don't use the sounds it makes for music, only for composing when I'm away from my workstation. Honestly impressed with the bass line 303 emulator, it's really good.
