I have just got reachrs+ survey kit x 2 base & rover . In over 2 weeks and over 50hrs of trying to get the units to function in the seamless manor they are portrayed to operate i have found that they are very temperamental.this may be just a one off defective set . But even though the cost i much lower than other units it is still, expensive paper waits . If you can make them function they are accurate, the app is very unstable as the core function that says it all
The Reach RS2 receivers are terrific game changers. RTK performance at accuracies consistentlyat 1.5 cm The software is not very intuitive to the average (surveyor) user. You apparently need a background in coding or IT to use the Reachview app- steep learning curve. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.
Fantastic app and GPS unit. Coupled with the Rd 8100, Pointman app on a 2019 SAMSUNG tab A and a Verizon hotspot I am getting 7 millimeter horizontal and 1.2 centimeter vertical accuracy. This setup allows you to collect and create 3 dimensional representations of utilities or infrastructure cheaply, easily, efficiently.
Won't connect for me either on the pixel 3 and I find the support documents online quite inadequate. In theory this is a great app but I wouldn't know as it doesn't seem to work with my hardware.
A very easy to use and indeed useful app that mesh's seamlessly with the emlid reach rtk gps equipment. All it needs now are more coordinate systems and surveying tricks in the field like resecting and cogo then it'll be the best mobile device gps app ever.
rs2 antenna showed blue solid which is mean its connected to a wifi. the thing is where did it connected to?!! and i cant excess its internal if there is connection between antenna and the unknown wifi!!! thank you.
Cannot get app to connect to RS2 on Google Pixel 3XL. . The app works fine on an iPad for our survey kit but not on different android devices. This version is 1.6which is very old.
It's doesn't work on my android phone (oppo reno 3). I tried using iphone and it does work, when I tried using Android, it just can't find the receiver. Please help to solve this issue
One of worst Worst product ever had. Taking too much time to connect wifi and so on. We have used first product and reach M+ all has same issue since begining...
will not connect to RS+, attempted with open WiFi, and two different Alcatel hotspots. the app will not see RS+ base unit. just paid $900 for a non-functioning GPS. contacted EMLID two days ago, still no response.
Connectivity issue "Reach cannot be connect please check WiFi setting" message popup's approx after every 30 sec
doesn't support realme device. im disappointed.can you fix this!! it doesn't work on my realme 6.
Rally good application to support the surveying equipment which is very good value for money
Hi, doesn't work with Android 10. Huawei P30pro
I'm not able to connect Reach RS2 and Emlid M2 through redmi note 8 pro what should we do???
Need more option for XY file Keep Save for any BM
The app doesn't work on pixel 3xl
I want latest version v 2.8.0 because my mobile not support this version
Reach is quite possibly the greatest product I have ever used.
Cannot connect using Realme 6
I gave the 5 stars for the devices
The app is mostly a front-end for just accessing the unit over HTTP. The frustrating part is if you set your device to work as a Hotspot and connect the unit to your device, the app won't detect it. It appears as if the app isn't scanning all the available network interfaces.
Excellent aplication and integration, it would be great if you add the possibility to use a geoid (EGM2008) for have elevations avobe mean sea level, and UTM projections.
Much easier to get to the app than running through a browser and looking for the ip. Perfect app.
Please update stackuot
The Emlid Reach RS(+) is an excellent product for the money, This is the controlling application, and is good, but the Samsung Galaxy S9+ phone doesn't properly work, as the application can't find the available devices. That's okay, as this application is helpful, but not needed, as the Reach RS(+) has a web server, so the same functionality can be obtained by just opening the device address in any web browser (I use Chrome, on both the phone and PC.) I have only heard that the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ have this problem, so I suspect any other android device (of at least operating system 5.1) would be fine. I'm looking to find a cheap tablet to use for it now. The product is the first "turnkey/ready-to-use" survey grade GNSS system for under $1000. It has some competition coming available soon, but as of now, it's the best ready-to-go item to do centimeter grade locating, without having to integrate your own hardware
