A novel hold-and-release system combined with trials is used.
* How to use *
To begin, press and hold your finger to the screen.
When the screen turns green, lift your finger up as fast as you can.
Complete a total of 5 trials to get a final average of your reaction time.
No lifting early! Lifting early causes your current run to be reset.

This is a very simple tool, which is exactly what I wanted. Not an ad in sight- even better! The only problem is that I had a specific reason for needing this tool and there are no guidelines to tell you what is average, above average, etc. So, I didn't actually learn anything.
It's good reaction time test app. But however reaction time can be measured in many other ways. This is only one of them. And anyone can score under 500 ms response time. Fairly good, but other apps give you more tests which increase your focus and attention.
I would rate it 5 star if wasnt for for the background......jesus...theres so many writings and lines in the background....I cant focus.......... Heres a tip: KEEP IT SIMPLE...
cool app, should add more things tho. like tapping on an object as soon as it appears or something. otherwise nice app

Some trails I got 66ms but average is 287
I like the concept. Technically it should measure reaction times more accurately than some other methods out there. But the test screen is just too littered with unecessary texts, its too distracting. I don't think a plain screen is too much to ask for
