I have this app in two separate Android mobiles. For the last few days I have not been able to download any book and neither have I been able to sign in. It just says that there is a server error. Incidentally, my mobile phones have strong and separate internet connectivity. This app has a wide range of books but many are full of errors, which makes reading an unenjoyable pastime.
It's like some books were removed when the app was updated! Very frustrating because the books that i was reading before the update cannot be found anymore. For instance a book called "A Return to Love" by Marianne Williamson, can no longer be found and it makes me mad to the point of wanting to delete this up and give it a bad rating - one star!
To be true, the previous version was better than the latest one. They stop showing you related search results. Many a books are still missing. By far it was the best app for reading, but the update was not upto the standards set by me. Hoping will bring out the best in the near future.
This app used to be so good but now it's complete rubbish, I have searched for all my favourite books and none of them came up. The advice they've given about updating the app is useless, cause it hasn't changed anything. I have spent hours uninstalling and installing this app on both my tablet and phone( using the updated version), hoping for some improvement but no improvement. I am still unable to find any good books. Just going to get rid of it now, don't waste your time downloading.
I'm very disappointed with this new version, I liked the old one where we can read our hearts out. But this new version required us to pay a certain amount on each stories. 🤷♀️ yeah we know it's for the improvement and of course income etc. But anyway. What to do right? Thank you for the lovely a year of reading Anybooks. Wish you success but I'm gonna uninstall you.
This app was all good before but right now it is just plainly annoying. I can't even sign in and I can't download it anywhere else like it seems to have been removed from play store for my country and just because I already downloaded it that is why I still have it. But still this app needs a lot of things fixed and more interesting books need to be added to the library. I just hope I can get some clarity on why I can't seem to find it on the play store.
The only problem i have is the downloading part... Im kinda struggling a bit its not like the old app this one seems more complex i dont know maybe my connection is too slow or im doing something wrong but I'd like if the old app was still here and another thing is that you take a bit of time to upload requested books... But otherwise i loved the previous one and id like to stick around if i could get an easier way of downloading the books to my library
I used to love this app. But they keep on updating different versions of it that too by different publishers. App doesn't get updated but rather a new app by the same name gets uploaded for us to install(not update) which makes us uninstall the former pre-installed app. That makes us lose data everytime.
I loved this book app, now I am disappointed. I can't download books from old authors or old books and I have lost all the books I had in my library. All the these new writers and books is annoying. When I search for books or the authors nothing appears. It has really been frustrating because I read everyday on this app. I have deleted the app. You guys should fix this or you will loose more people.
It was the best app for reading books before. Now I can't find books by the author or by the name. It doesn't show related books and if I have some book and try opening the stories of the author it doesn't show anymore. Either way what I have downloaded I can still read it again but I cants seem to find the other books.
Everything about it... I love it, from outlook to layout... Everything is arrange properly. Although few books are yet to be added...still, one of the best eBook app by far. I hope it becomes the best app ever. And more thing i want to say to Anybook team is to keep the app User friendly
Feeling very sorry but It has totally lost its uniqueness and speciality!! Just can't get the reason for this new version. That old one was Wonderful and I literally loved it and also recommended to everyone around me but this one! Why?? I am not even able to open most of the books which I had earlier added in my library. In short , very disappointed! Please bring back the original version coz this new one is just not worth keeping :(((
None of my favourite books are being downloaded from this app. Please do something, either make the previous app working or make this lite version capable of the performance of the original version. I loved this so much that I recommended it to all my friends and they also loved it. Please do something, this is the first problem that I'm facing since I'm using this app. Love from India. Peace
This is a very nice app for the people who love reading books. All other apps have some issues in reading the complete book. But in this app we can read the book offline and completely. This is really a wonderful app. Everyone must try it . This app has each and every book u want .
I'm very disappointed about owners. You may trying to give the best but its annoying all of us. I shouldn't have update this time. lots of books are missing after the update and im not interesting about this app anymore. nothing can take our hearts as the very first version. honestly I cried when I saw all of my favorite books in one app. Please do something and upload the original version to the google play.
It was such an amazing app at first when I was using it before it asked me to update. After clicking on update button it's not updating. Whatever content that is there on the app right now is really disheartening because the books I am trying to find aren't available which were previously Available when I was reading them and then the update situation took place. Help me have a proper app where I can read authorised content in peace
Everything is great but the fact that I still don't have much time to read as often as before, I'd LOVE to suggest that you set up a live like audio recording, automatic reader for people who are very busy like me, juggling work and fantasy all together. Please consider my suggestion and make life more easier and faster. 😍👍👍
Even after updating the app, all the good books vanished like they never existed😭. The developers have made it compulsory for all the novels I want to read to pay to unlock a new chapter. I can't even find my favorite authors' books like Marie Lu, Hannah Howell and the likes. Please what's happening to anybooks😩. It's becoming annoying. I hope the developers make changes to any stories, the updated app and make it the same old one without making all the books up for payment.
It's a wonderful app. But it is everytime some update is available it install new app and old one is no more usable as a result we lose the Mark's in the book and have to find what one was reading.
This is the first time I'm writting a bad review about an app. That's because I dont like what they've done to this.What happened to the books? I can't find any of which I had on my library,and when I try to search for them they no longer appear. What happened?!!!This used to be a great app where you could find any book to read, that's why it was called anybooks. Might as well get rid of the ads atleast so it could be bareable. What's with the game section anyways? Who plays games when reading?
I love this app a lot and I can't do without it. I am a senior citizen and facing problem to update this app as I don't know how to deposit money in apps account. Please let me know the easy way to deposit money. Like through amazon account or through Google pay gift cards. I want to do it fast as there is discount offered by you.
I am very much thankful to the developers, its a very lovely app for book lovers. I find a small short coming, please provide cloud backup possibility for the downloaded books. Every time this app goes off the playstore I am trying to download the latest apk from other sources, but i have to download all the books again. Contemplate this backup feature please.
please bring the old version back. It was really the best one. This one is very disappointing and do add a sync option so i can find my all downloaded books in library after i log in. Please This is just real bad.
The old version was way better than this! The old version has way more books than the new. It shows the book but there is no option to download the book, instead it just links it to web. If I wanted to download from the web, why the heck do I have this app? It's like we read whatever it suggests only, cause what we want is not there at all.
Thanks very much for creating such app, I have been using it for almost 3 years and I am highly satisfied with its functions. I have found here each and every book I have been searching for. There were some errors half year ago but now it's working again perfectly. Thanks a lot❤️
First install was brilliant...I was able to download fabulous contemporary books written by the likes of Lee Child, Dean Koontz, Wilbur Smith and so many more and all of a sudden...the app changes and one is offrered books that other apps offer....my pupils loved this app...we all did but it has been a huge disappointment. Upon being told to update...which ( silly me) I do...Play store advises that I can only install or uninstall.
I have version 3.21 and it asks me to update with in the app and when I click update nothing happens. Keeps repeating the prompt. And when I go to playstore and it installs new copy of the app and I end up with with 2 Anybooks apps
This used to be THE BEST app but now it's awful! I can't get any of the books that I used to. I'm also a published author and I'd love to write a serial but the lack of support (I've sent COUNTLESS tickets asking for help) is a massive deterrent! How can it be so bad when it used to be sooooo good?
Cannot search any books from its title, authors or series of my choice in search engine...need to improve the application as before. Previously all books could be searched not like now where you cannot search the books of our choices. It's is fustrating not to find the books of your choices in the search engine. No use of this application if you cannot read your favorite books as it's says any books. Kindly improve the application as soon as possible. this used to by my favorite application.
Find it amazing.. have the books I want to read with me all the time. Only one issue. When the upgrade happens, I tend to lose a few books I am reading which is very troubling. This has happened a couple of times. They actually are lost on the app itself and though have made a request, not been added back. That is a problem which is very disturbing. Otherwise I love the app and am always referring all my friends, acquaintances.
