ReadEra - book reader pdf, epub, word

Really working well, great UI and no ads. I had so much bad experience with other apps: slow, unresponsive, not practical, didn't save where I was in a book, intrusive and big pop up apps and of course... Crashes. This is a breath of fresh air, I am done struggling reading books on my phone and Chromebook . Thanks for the app! Already recommending it to friends and coworkers.

This app is basically perfect. No ads, you can adapt the police size and type, you can highlight parts, you can manage your series and collections and much more! Honestly, the only improvement that can be made is being able to keep a memory of books read when you remove them from your device (like a reading list app).

Quite complete and still simple : It includes all that I was looking for in a books reading app (Bookmarks, quotes, notes, a lot of aspect tuning parameters, a shortcut to google translation...). Yeah, the app is quite good, and even though I don't need additional features to it, I'm seriously considering buying the premium version, because the devs deserve it!

Not all have 'night mode' for pdf.. ReadEra has a good night mode for them as well as portrait and landscape but it also doesn't interfere with the tilt settings you make for your device.. just let's it happen. It doesn't jerk things around like some reading apps and constrain you in your natural movements to quickly get a comfortable set up to read with and it's reliable and ready when you are looking for files. I was happy in the first 5 minutes with it.

I love this app. It has everything a reader needs. But it'd be great if there's an option to disable in-app browser, it's able to resize font while reading pdf, and for there to be a search function inside a collection. Besides those, I really can't think of anything that can be improved further. This is definitely the best reader app (moreover it doesn't have ads!)

I'd give this small, slick, smooth little reader one more star if it weren't for one glaring flaw: if you skip forward for some reason, say, to look something up, YOU CAN'T GET BACK TO PAGE ONE unless you want to flip back through every single page. There's what looks like a slider at the bottom of the page, but it doesn't move and doesn't take you anywhere. I couldn't find any other controls that would get me back to the start. Fix this and you'll have a real little gem.

Was looking for a simple pdf reader to read downloaded books but got more than what I was looking for. -App auto saves the state where you last where in the book. -Once you open a book and start reading, it's automatically moved to the Reading Now section. -Can edit title and delete files. -Can sort files to display with the extension type. I'm totally satisfied and can hardly see any scope for improvement. Just get a modern UI and you'll probably even get an Editor's Choice badge.

Intuitive, easy to find files and share with various platforms. Doesn't seem to take up too much memory. It's my preferred app for opening attachments and downloads. Can't recall which files the app hasn't been able to open, but there haven't been so many to begin with.

Easy to use, free, and convenient. Not much to dislike. Maybe turning the pages can be slightly smoother, but it's not really so problematic. Keep it up and don't ever compromise on your original objectives, ReadEra! Edit in 2022: Still great.

Started downloading all my school textbooks as epubs on this app and it's a life changer. The words are actually readable now. And the app makes it so customizable, I can increase the font size as big as I want to which helps my ADHD so much. Now each page has less words on it and I can divide the chapters into tiny chunks.

Easy to read without harming your eyes, at hand on the plane, metro and other traffic means, easy to read on trips. I use it every day reading books, articles and other. You can use the settings to adjust according to your needs.

Other than the lack of color for highlighting, it's functions are meant to be the bare minimum but it does what it's supposed to do! Sometimes the notes would jumble up (not in correct order) but closing the app and reopening it fixes it for the most part. Satisfied!

Hi. The app does a good job at reading epub file. However, it does not display epub text with colored fonts. I've tried looking at the settings but nothing there to solve this issue. Opening a file is also slower than other readers I've tried. Otherwise a good app.

Are you looking for an application to read your documents or ebooks from? Look no more! ReadEra is not just convenient but has no ads. I'm sure you don't want to be distracted by the annoying pop-ups so don't hesitate to download and use ReadEra! Of course nothing is perfect and so ReadEra, but I enjoyed using this app to read ebooks as it has no ads!

It is actually 4.5 . it is a very good app , simple and to the point i guess . just that theme is dark. As in the app theme hope u could add a bit of colour to the app theme (without paying for it😛) it can have a dark and light mode option as other have . otherwise almost perfect for readers. (Will add more in nxt edit)

I seldom write reviews. I was looking for an app with simple interface for good reading experience and this app fulfilled my expectations. Very simple design. I enjoyed reading on this app and use it all the time for reading. Biggest benefits it's free of annoying ads which is one of my requirements, love this. I really like this app and surprised to see why it was suggested as second option & not first. Can we have a desktop version for windows and Mac of this excellent app?

Got it to read epubs, now i use it for pretty much every document that i read on my phone. It has a good set of size/font/color features, the quote function is invaluable for someone who is learning a new language, really good stuff all around.

Done everything I've needed it to do, namely read .epub files, with little to no pain or confusion. By the way, you can swap between light and dark mode reading by tapping the top left of the screen with a file open. Pretty nifty.

Amazing!!! This the first book reader that can return to a page after you click an hyperlink. Fantastic for cookbooks, It's incredible to go look at a recipe in detail, and then returning to the index very quickly.

This App is the very best online reading App I ever experienced in the market, much better than any other App I ever tried! It reads all kinds of formats (e-pub, pdf, azw, mobi, etc etc etc ...) and has many facilities and great lay-out and organisation. Highly recommendable! The top of its genre!

Easy to use interface, readily reads multiple text formats, plus a bunch of rly cool features. Not to mention the lack of ads. Pretty sure this is the best app of its kind atm.

Amazingly useful. It even provides free translation and definition of terms without any type of adds. I would buy the premium version to support the developers if it wasn't for my terrible lack of money.

It's the best out of all the ebook readers I've tried. Pls improve or make the reading progress bar customisable, make it more like video games has. Also give us achievement rewards, xps and make this app more interesting like video games so we hook on reading and why not? It works so well. It's human psychology you know.

Everything about this application is remarkable. Quality service, multiple file access, highlighting option, day and night mode, section wise division of book, and most importantly Ad free experience. Highly recommended for everyday use.

It works just how I want I to right off the bat. I used the auto search, deleted some useless files, and easily found the epub I wanted. The read features were intuitive and seamless. A+

I love this app because it sattisfies my needs and doesn't annoy with ad. They added some of new options. One of them is translation of phrases within the app, and this is terrific! Glad that you are developing. 5 stars.

It lets me view the book but the format and organization isn't what it was originally. I cant look at a chapter break down but instead have to manually search through the pages for it. If I could change that then it'd be a 5 star.

I think my needs are simple. The app is easy to use, allows you to adjust the books to be easier on the eyes, your progress is tracked and whenever you return, you're right back where you left off. And well, no ads. I love this app.

Awesome reader APP.. Simple and very easy to use and it gets any format readable without any issue... I love this app, really it is one of the best apps I have ever downloaded, I don't have anything negative to say about it... Thank you!

This was the first e-reader app I tried because it was free and the highest rated. I've tried a few others and this one still wins out for balance of options versus simplicity. The ONLY thing keeping me from giving it five stars is that I really wish there was a color/background option like "Twilight" but reversed, with a darker gray background and black text. Sometimes even the Sepia is a little too much glare for me. Add that and I think I'd consider this near-perfect.
