this is a great idea to use voice recognition to check kids reading however my 4-year-old kid pronounces words imperfectly and the app does not recognize it when he reads a word correctly. also the app stops listening after the kid stays silent for 10 seconds. He also needs to read out loud the sounds of the word first before he can combine the sounds into a complete word, and the app recognizes individual sounds as incorrect word. I think you should work on this great idea to make it work.
Great idea, but the word recognition bounces between way over sensitive to way under sensitive. It's very frustrating after a few minutes.
previously reviewed at 2 stars but bumped up to 3 because the developers replied to say they are working on the issues i mentioned in my original review. looking forward to future updates!
This is such an amazing app. It has helped my kindergartener learn how to read!! Such a fantastic and empowering tool.
This game is awesome. Really helped my 4 yr old improve her skills.
It didn't understand anything my child said. It kept saying he was wrong when he was completely correct.

My son loves the concept of this game. It's a fun way to practice his sight words. Unfortunately the app still needs work. There were a bunch of times where he read the correct word but the app didn't recognize it. Some of the words that didn't work include up, if, sit, keep, cut and pick. If I read the word, it understood me but it seems like it has a hard time with a kid's voice on certain words. My son got frustrated when it didn't give him credit for the correct word.
