Very useful to read, find objects in the dark, when you can't turn on the lights, or don't have one handy.
To adjust brightness and intensity, just tap the screen and it rotates through different levels!
To lock the brightness from unintentional taps, use the menu button Lock Brigtness to lock or unlock it.
After you reached the maximum brightness it will rotate back to the lowest level. Just tap until you find a setting that works for you.
Uses include reading in situations where you don't want to bother other people, or looking for things in a dark environment, signaling to other people in the dark, etc! Have fun with it!

The flashing ads are so bright/fast and off putting that they 1. Caused my migraines. 2. Could potential cause seizures/epileptic fits. 3. Interfere with my sight whilst trying to read by its light. 4. Thoroughly spoilt reading experience. The adjustable light would be perfect IF the ads STOPPED FLASHING
Awfull it has a candle but its just grey and has flashy adds its just straight up terible i had gone off and on a few times hoping the greyness was a glitch but no ,it would be so much better just without the adds. To anyone who anyone who actually wants to have a good app for light please gp find another app
I can choose the intensity of the light but I still have constant flashing as I'm trying to read. Not a good ad choice for a reading light app.
With ads coming in flashing brighter than the screen you can't read by this light, nor use as a night light.
You have a phone WITH INTERNET (how did you get this app) and apps why waste space to read just get a flashlight
There are a number of levels of brightness (seems to be true of the reviewers as well), so it's easy to find the perfect brightness for however dark your room is. Love this app.
I was using a flashlight app but they shut off after a while. This rocks. I read in bed every night and this was a lifesaver.
adds are brighter than my light setting, very annoying. Aside from that I love this app
Bright enough to read at night but yet sometimes dim enough to not get caught reading up late.
The night light itself is great, but it is very, very annoying to see the ads at the top of my screen flashing.. It spoils the whole 'night light' effect. UNINSTALLED...
The app is good .. lots of options. ..but the blinking strobe ads make all of the good elements useless
The ads change and flash so it is ridiculously distracting to use this as a light to read, which defeats the whole purpose of the app. Don't waste your time.
what have you done to my perfect reading light, it used to be excellent but now it has a life of its own and when it's supposed to be locked on a light shade it turns brighter and darker and even turns off!!, im so disappointed
GOOD APP, USER-FRIENDLY. WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT 5 STARS , IF U DIDN'T HAVE 2 FREQUENTLY ADJUST THE LIGHT.
I'm trying to read and the stupid ad blinks completely defeating the purpose. Soooo frustrating
The ads aren't an issue, you can't see them because you're reading your book. I didn't even know there were ads until my fifth night using it.
Would be great if the ads weren't flashing different colors causing the brightness to constantly change.
There are 4 or 5 settings for brightness and the only ads are small in the corner. Previous reviewers must have caused this change for the better!

I really liked this app for its simplicity and the choices of light level. I never minded the ads because all I needed was the light and they didn't really distract. But now the ads rapidly flag nonstop and who can read with that?
I came on here to get a nice relaxing reading app but this its just a grey screen so stupid. Don't ever download ever

Love that I can change brightness just by tapping the screen and lock it on the one I want. The timer is great too- I love reading to fall asleep. .Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for!

I've had this app for a long time. I love it because it is a simple basic light for which I can change the brightness. I don't know why do many bad reviews. I never see ads. I can't remember if I purchased a the ad free version - which I normally don't do.
