Reading Light

I don't understand the caller ID thing but people giving 1 star because of this is a bit extreme! Just disable it! Is it that hard for you guys to press a button in a box? Best light app ever

I don't want a caller ID and it gets in the way if you need the keypad. Worst light app ever.

Unwanted and completely unrelated feature regardless if you can disable it

The lighting functionality works ok, but it also for some reason overtakes call management so all calls go through it while you are watching ads. Every call.

I need a light app not a caller ID app. Uninstall....

Works well, just turned off the caller stuff in settings, took maybe 3 seconds. Come on people! I love how simple this app is, I even use it as a beside lamp 😁

I loved it as a reading light, hate the new popups and call stuff. It's called reading light, doesn't make sense.

True, they have nothing to do with reading in the dark but they've allowed me to i.d. fraud and ad calls and tag them so I'm never be bothered by them again.

This app used to be good. Now it reads my contacts list and sends me duplicate notifications of callers, why would anyone want a reading light to do that? My phone notifies me already! Total breach of privacy.

Why wud i need caller id in a reading light app?? I mean y? All it does is add an unnecessary pop up! Let truecaller do their job and you guys do your own!

Accessing my contacts is not acceptable so I deleted it.

It's just changing the light on my tablet. I can do that in the settings :(

Now the app wants to control phonecalls. Why?

I like this app to use as a reading light but why Caller ID I already disabled it but why do you got it on a reading light app why not make a new app?

I downloaded a reading light which works great but all of a sudden my calls are being hijacked by the app and it's in the way so I can't answer them, I don't want a caller I'd I wanted a reading light and yes it can be turned off but that's not the point, make it into a separate app

Right after I I stalled started getting all kinds of pop up adds that made it impossible to use web

This is a reading light app. In what world does it make sense to attach a caller ID function to it? Used to love the simplicity of the app. Uninstalled.

Hijacks my caller id

So handy. Not just for reading in bed. Doesnt disturb my partner at all. because it has a soft glow its great for checking on sleeping children. No harsh light to wake them up. Great for finding your way around in a blackout. Safer than candles. You can adjust the brightness of the light. Highly recommend it.

Good as light but after update started popping about calls and ID check service. Not what I asked for. Uninstalled. EDIT: I do like active developers replying to reviews, it means you are serious about your work, and it is "#€"#€ hard to do a really good service. I still don't like when a service provides something I do not expect it to do, and an app called "reading light" suddenly providing something, to me, completely unrelated to getting light when I read is just that. I'll bump it to a two-star, but to give it another try I want a clearer, smoother question about additional services, e.v. simple question at start up, "Would you like to use service x?" which I then easily could just answer no to. Or that maybe the product message is changed to indicate something more than the light function so I won't be surprised by other functions! Keep working on it!

I liked it at first. Every time I use it it shuts down after 10 to 15 minutes AND wipes out my phone theme/background picture and sets my phone to default settings. I've had it for 6 months or so hoping it would improve but has only gotten worse. Deleting it and finding something that actually works.

Had the app for years and loved it. Downloaded it on my new phone and now it has a annoying Caller ID that pops ups. It even makes it harder to answer phone calls. Whoever came up with this "update" should be fired. I deleted the app. And I'm changing my 5 star review to a 1 star.

Not to bright and not to dark, with the adjust key I can easily make it the right light for me. Great for reading in the dark and it doesn't shut off your phone like other apps and saves you battery. Very useful and it's easy to control.

Very good for reading without disturbing others, love the variable brightness. Also useful as a flashlight when you are not wanting such a super bright, directed beam.

Would be great if a pollfish didn't pop up every single time I open the app. So unnecessary.
