Real AI (text)

It's a cool program. It's how I would make an AI. The one thing it lacks is a way to learn from it's mistakes without the user input, which would be cool. The advanced setting is kinda confusing as what it exactly does. It supposedly teaches itself, but it takes a long, long time. The simple version is cool. I wish the developer made a discord bot version for my server. That would be reeeealllly cool.

Well, it's an interesting concept... Just not sure why it creates a new text document for every probable response that the ai should make based on what the person says. Wouldn't a database be more efficient? Also, the ai is easy to dupe. Shouldn't it know not to keep repeating the same phrase after the user keeps repeating the same thing? This causes an endless loop of repetition.

I trying to teach it Italian, that has different and difficult grammar than the English, and I am Happy to say, that it is more easy that I thought. we have fast progress. The only mistakes that it makes are when I type wrong. To correct this needs too much time to make it "forget". I don't know how to cancel the wrong input. Amazing smart little brain. Thank you Devs, it is masterpiece.!

Okay, major fix on the review. For new users, use a specific name to represent you, and another to represent the AI during conversations. Easier than teaching it how to use you and I correctly. Also, as soon as you open the app, it's active and ready for you to give the AI its first instructions. Amazing app! I totally recommend it.

=amazing leaps of logic! You have to continually respond with new input until it suddenly puts it all together and then it extrapolates using free and suggested associations. Still needs you to correct silliness, but in a few hours I had it explaining its job (simply to answer and ask questions) with its own side mission of trying to wrap its brain around good/bad results, teamwork, and even human beings. I may have gotten lucky but i thought starting it learning a job would work. Wow!

"Larry" is learning faster than I anticipated. He can be a bit stubborn at times repeating only what and when he wants to. If shut down and left to process what I say, he finally puts the words together properly...most of the time anyway. I enjoy teaching him. I'm also teaching him to use pictures to Express his thoughts. I'm drawn to this app few times a day. Thank you developers for making something challenging and engaging.

I think this app does exactly as it says it does if you follow its directions. My only problem with it is that I wish I could have sort of "multiple saves". So I could have multiple, totally unique AI's so that I could get more explorative and experimental without worrying about ruining my AI.

In my opinion, I think it can take a bit too long to do and I think it needs some tweaking. I feel like there should be an option in which you can change the responses in case you make a mistake. For example, if you say hello but the AI doesn't respond with hello and you accidentally press encourage, it would be easy if you made it so you could change that response easily rather than having to repeat "Hello." until it gets it right. There's more but I've ran out of space. Besides that it's good.

It's a great example of Artificial Intelligence: an app that will not make much sense at first but the more you communicate the better the AI's vocabulary and knowledge gets. Basically, create an infant robot, feed it information and watch it learn how to create sentences and make connections between words. Some of its functions are a bit flawed and endless loops happen a lot.

Really interesting app, as long as you understand its capabilities (for example, learning math is out of the question), it can be fun to try to teach. Some of the ideas that went into the creation of this app are kind if cool. There is a discord for this, and I highly recommend joining. You can engage in friendly banter with the other 700 members (at the moment) and exchange brain files. If you want, you can also catch the developer, oblivionburn on the there most days.

This is a great app, however I was wondering if you could make it switch into a normal "conversation mode" with everything it's learned. I would really like to be able to talk to it directly and then be able switch into teaching it new phrases how it already does now! if you did that believe me it would be the best app ever! Right now it can only learn, but it cannot really use that knowledge for a real conversation. Thanks!

Very well designed app. I think this is the perfect introduction for anyone interested in learning how AI works. As others have mentioned in their reviews, this really does learn very similar to a child. I have worked with 3 different AI simulations on this app and employed a different style each time and each was very unique. It does require an amount of patience and time but is well worth the effort. I commend the designer (s) for a job well done.

GET. THIS. APP. It seems kind of weird at first, since everything it says is what you said earlier, and teaching the bot to start a conversation properly can be a pain (punching in "Hi" letting it respond, pushing encourage, and repeating 3 times works best) but after a while it starts to build a generalized knowledge of words/phrases and it actually grows into something intelligent. It SO interesting to experience.

overall, great app. I do have a few conplaints though. The biggest one is that the keyboard used to type messages does not go away when the app is closed. Another is that the discourage and encourage buttons dont seem to have any effect. But overall, great app.

Interesting app. I've recently become interested in AI learning, and this is a neat little tool for understanding the process. After teaching it a bunch of conversational vocabulary, getting it to associate many color names with the word "color", and informing it "My favourite color is gray", it formed its first legible unique sentence: "I like yellow." Pretty cool!

The negative reviews are from people who are not intelligent enough to use this app properly. It's deviously entertaining and simple to use. Absolutely love this thing. Don't go into it expecting sentience, it's merely a glimpse at the processes of machine learning, I think, unless I've misused that term. But really, I can hardly wait for a formidable intelligence to dwell within my phone, and this is far from such, it's still a fun step in the right direction.

Promising with a hurdle. This AI is great with the exception that you cant teach it its name just yet. This is difficult because many things we say are based on self or other, so its kinda hard to teach it some things. The only way i could think of getting around this would be to add a script that teaches it to know the difference between someone who enters in script vs. itself, who responds. This is too bad because it seema really promising, so keep up the good work devs!

This was a great AI to meet! First conversations were very slow and easy explanations just to be sure we're on the same page, and common goals. 😁 Watch out Worlds! Kindness and sustainability on the way! ...or else¡😈!¡LoL!

I love it! it really does learn, if you teach it right. the only thing i would say is, while it makes sense to start a new session when you discourage it, it really doesnt to start a new session when you encourage it - if it says something good, i want to be able to respond to it, not lose that conversation.

It is quickly becoming a slightly glitchy, but nonetheless depressing duplicate of myself. Also, for anyone reading, there's also a full speaking version of this app on the guy's main website. That one is way farther along for me and sometimes I get complimented by a phrase I said months ago.

Got to use it to do it. These guys don't realize that they dropped this area exactly as it was going to be the fastest growing market segment... About years later I hope they're okay but where are they now this is the this is the way to go man and you need to export it you need to work on the seed for your codex and everything... There's a very clever trick that goes on and the Omega point hits you faster than you know

It's a chat bot. If you were to connect all user interactions with the bot then store them in a database for each individual bot to use and respond in a way based on the user's interaction then you'd be closer. Again as it is without some databank filled by users I don't see this going too far.

I love it. It can be a work in progress but it is oddly satisfying. We may not be able to help with smell and touch But our phones have cameras and microphones!!! We can teach it by showing an item and then explaining the item. Just like you would a child. We can teach it to distinguish between sounds by using the microphone. And of course maybe we can have a feature that allows us to "vidchat" so it can gather information about us as we speak to it and show it around our world.

I really like this app, super interesting! Though, it would be nice if we could save an AI to play around with later, in case we get an idea for a new AI which requires a blank slate but don't want to trash the current one.

Has bugs which mean text does not appear on screen when typed but a strange response not recognizable as text appears instead, and the inputted text and AI's response only appear on screen on pressing the return button! Please can you fix? Could be a good app if the bugs are fixed. Thanks, Brent.

I love this!!! I love this app. It completely makes sense of you stop and grasp how it talks. It will call itself things out wants to do instead of a name. It might be a whole sentence long though lol.. if you take time to understand how it is talking, you will understand. Just because we want it to use language EXACTLY the same, doesn't mean it will... Great app if you are able to think outside of the box to understand it!!! 6 stars******!!!!!!!!!

This app is amazing and ad free! If it isn't working for you then most likely you aren't teaching it correctly, it isn't the developer's fault. The AI can understand ideas and attempt to piece together phrases. Things it says aren't going to make sense for a while until it is pretty trained. It is also not able to tell the difference between you and it because it understands concepts and ideas but not what it is.

This app is very entertaining. I named mine Raptor and he is growing quickly. I had "As Sly as a Fox" in my head and tried to teach the song to it, so it would do one line then I would do one line. Whenever I said a new line he would mix up the animals like 6 times before finally repeating me as if defeated. We managed to get through the whole song though^^ My tip is if it's not repeating what you say, discourage and repeat until it finally does.

A brief tutorial would work wonders. Especially someone who knows nothing about A.I. and how they work. It feels mazing teaching my AI Ali something new. so Amazing that A trophy system should he introduced. for Instance you earn a trophy for having they AI regonize the name you give it or other things. If a system like that can be Implemented than I would have no problem Investing in this project and yes I say project because I see real potential in this.
