Real Clear Daf

This is a top level learning device that has spectacular features that actually work...every time! It is so user friendly and versatile that I was successful benefiting from it from the first time I used it. The faster speed help avoid slow moving sections or have a quick review. The english toggle makes understanding much deeper as an additional explanation to the audio. When they add the high lighted text to match the audio feature it will be every baal Habayits nightmare! There is no way to make it easier to learn and we still chose to check our email etc.... Thanks So Much Real Clear- at least the time I do use, I feel more than I understand some of the things.... rather .. I feel like "I get it"! You can too!

Easy to use, easy to register for use either on the phone or computer. Shows the daf as you're learning it so you can follow along. Also has a great feature allowing you to speed up the audio without compromising the quality of the speech. Only suggestion I'd make: right now it's an excellent run-through of the daf. If there's an important Tosafos or other commentary on something, I'd like to know. I highly recommend this app

Wonderful app! It is so convenient, intuitive and helpful. I like that when I leave the app for a minute and I was zoomed in on a certain part, it stays zoomed in on the same point when I come back to the app. The graphics are great, the highlighting feature is so smart. Rabbi Wise delivers the daf in a very clear manner. I like the speed control feature which helps me manage my learning time better. For some reason, some of the text on my tablet and phone screen overwrite each other. It's a great study aid.

I am a novice at understanding Hebrew words I can read the words pretty well even though they don't have vowels And I can follow along But I need somebody to read it so I understand it The reader has pretty good English pronou nciation and I can almost understand it perfectly and it's really great. I haven't learned how to use the follow along pointer yet or make the fonts bigger. If you could make these features more accessible that would be great. Also for donations please add PayPal.

This app provides an excellent way to learn the talmud at your own pace. One new feature I would suggest to add, is to incorporate the narrative highlights on the English version so other non Hebrew speakers can follow along as it works on the Hebrew version. Great job!

Great app, but can't use sign-in. Hangs on "Verifying Phone Number" screen after some Google dialog about SmartLock annoyingly pops up. Samsung Note 10+ (Android 10) Update: Problem reproduced on Android app running on pixelbook.

I've used this app last cycle and continue to learn this cycle. Some of the advantages I like are I can start and stop when I need to without losing my place. The dictionary option is very helpful in my learning words and meaning. I can click on a word from Rashi or Tosefos and learn a word. It comes with a English option in the event Hebrew is to hard. It has different speeds of the daf . Seeing the daf has allowed me to learn words and phrases.

An incredible platform for studying gemara, either when following the daf yomi cycle or to pick up any masechta. The shiurim are high quality, sound is crisp, and Rabbi Wise’s presentation is comprehensive while staying to the point; overall, the professionalism is outstanding for a totally free service. The app is also a joy to use - just try out the phrase-by-phrase highlighting feature and it will be hard to go back. Highly recommended for any level of gemara learner.

Excellent Shiur,. Clear audio. Gemarrah lines are mostly highlighted as the Shiur progresses which makes it easy to follow along. You can resize the Daf which helps reading it on a small screen. Very happy with Clear Daf!

Rabbi Wise is consistent in his way of giving over the gemara, saying exactly what is needed for a crystal clear understanding for all levels, not a word less, not a word more. The app is also convenient and easy to use, with text of the daf displayed, and shiur playback speed controls.

Rabbi Weiss gives a wonderfully clear daf! He makes it easy to follow even on double speed. The auto-highlight feature is also very useful. Thank you for this resource.

I just started doing דף היומי this מחזור and this שיעור is amazing. The clarity and attention to detail along with the really helpful features of highlighted words and changing speeds, is second to none. As Rabbi Wise (usually) starts the שיעור, may the זכות of לימוד התורה give us protection to continue serving 'ה in peace with only שמחות and נחת to all of us who use RCD and all of כלל ישראל!!

I really enjoy RCD. Rabbi Wise speaks clearly and paces himself very well. I find that my mastery of the DAF increases by listening to his shiur. I truly enjoy the highlighting feature. The most practical Daf Yomi app, I've seen! It has a super clear Magid Shiur pair with the most advanced app capabilities. Some of does features include the 'Zuras Hadaf' and my favorite one the 'word tracker' that shows you where the Magid Shiur is up to. Thanks for Making Daf Yomi more attainable!

The English is very understandable for beginners. I just wish that the dafs that are done would have stayed on the app and were acceptable

Absolutely amazing app, I'm 13 and I only just found out about daf, so I had to start in the middle of the cycle, but it is still crystal clear, and being able to follow along is just amazing. Very highly recommend.

I love the fact that I can stop, go back, review when there is a subject being discussed that I would like to hear again and when reviewing an entire shiur I can speed it up. The person giving the shiur is very knowledgeable about the concepts being discussed and seamlessly includes this background knowledge, including previously learned material in the current masechta as he continues in the daf.
