ADVANCED POINTS SYSTEMPoints grow proportionally to drift angle, drift time and speed.There are also 2 different points multiplier: "Drift Combo" multiplier and "Proximity" multiplier.Drift Combo multiplier is increased by 1 whenever points reach a power of 2000 (1000, 2000,4000, 8000 etc.). If you change drift direction, points are added to Total Points Indicator (located in the top left of the screen) and reset. If points reach every multiple of 2000 again, Drift Combo is increased by 1 again. This works only if you keep drifting without too long interruptions between one drift and the other (less than 1 second), otherwise Drift Combo multiplier will be reset to 1.Proximity multiplier is increased when you drift with the back of the car near a wall (less than 1.5 meters) proportionally to closeness. You'll notice this bonus with a slow motion effect and a text showing the multiplier factor.If you hit anything you'll lose your partial points and all multipliers.

it became unplayable since the last update. In fact there has been an improvement on the battery life, I have to admit, but in terms of framerates the game has been retrograded. It used to run very smoothly on my LG G4, but since the update I can't play it anymore, as the framerate drops to less than 10 a second which is especially annoying in corners and bends! Even with all gfx disabled! Honestly, I prefer the old version, to which I unfortunately cannot downgrade. Edit: ok for the test apk.
This was one of my favorite mobile games for years. The most recent update has completely ruined the points system; this has rendered the game unplayable. I have written multiple emails to support and have not received a reply. * I recieved a reply to say that the issue had been fixed, but it has not. Point multiplier has no effect on point total: 450000 points with 10x multiplier is still 450000 points (behavior has been duplicated on three different devices).
The game is nice, but there are a lots of things to be changed and added. First remodel the cars and having more customization such as bodykits, new cars, and improve the decal customization because you can't rotate, you can't put it anywhere you want, and the decals are limited. The graphics needs to be improved or changed, the controls must be customizable such as moving the pedals and stuff, and change the size of them.
*Edit: Rating lower than my previous review due to the fact that now, that I've played the game a fair amount of time, I'm realizing that *all UI feedback (touch controls) become completely unresponsive intermittently... Before it seemed to be just the throttle, but it's every UI button available: throttle, brake, ebrake, & up/down shifting buttons. For an app I paid for, I'd expect more out of it. Still using ZTE ZMAX Pro. Fix for a better review/rating.
It WAS my favorite mobile drifting game. Bur latest update destroyed the game. They changed the score combo multiplayer system and you can't score you need to progress. Not to mention compare to other players that used the old scoring method. If you change the scoring system, you need to reset all high scores and fix the career mode. Before it was very easy... now is MEGA hard. Also the new update lags even at low graphics and I got a Galaxy S7. Please optimize your game. My phone can run much higher graphics games on 60fps.
This is a really decent game, that's really fun to play. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but late in the game, certain levels are unpassable. I am at the 'Drift Master' and no matter what, I cannot make it to the next one. I believe certain levels / requirements need to be refactored, to require proper skill but not be unreachable.
Great physics, a lot of cars, many races and really good drifting experience, but old point system was far more enjoyable because I could pull of greater combos that would get me a bunch of points and most likely indicate how many corners I have completed without crashing. I do appreciate the updates, but please bring back the old points system. It was a lot more fun and challenging...
Expect from the S2000 that was added on the game,everything looks that the update was really rushed when it was made. the menu and graphics look bad and the settings are too complicated for me. I really liked the previous update where everything was simple and they really showed what type of game it was about and it did really well. Now it looks just bad. please keep in mind tgat until the previous update IT WAS AWESOME and everything was perfect. A few chamges here and there would be ok.
I have come back and edited this just to share my disagreement with the current menu screen and buttons. In my opinion the old one was far better. Wish there would be an option to choose between the 2. Also, considering how good the game is, i think it needs controller support. I took out 1 star due to these 2 issues.
Would have rated higher but I found a bug in a course that is keeping me from going any further in the game. This is frustrating because not only is the game not free, I have also made several purchases for coins. The bug is in ESU circuit (reverse) in the drift extreme championship.
It works but the amount of points needed for a bronze is pretty high for a starter level, and it takes so long to get enough money for a upgrade for your car. Also, the you cant feel your car trying to find grip, it's there but it's hard to notice, you cant get much angle and be able to hold it for long. I understand that its harder to do for a mobile game but please try and fix this.
spent 20 on this game and was very satisfied. this new update is complete and total rubbish. only gets 90 degree steering wheel turn, fps is mabye 20 apposed to the 60+ I was gettin before the update, yet the graphics got worse. the graphics before were perfect for a mobile drifting game considering not may are this realistic and well made. Unless they basiclly revert back to the previous game version, I'm uninstalling because it's near impossible to drift like I could with the previous update.
It's truly a great game lots of fun. They are many things to unlock, however the steering is very frustrating at times. Especially when you have a 10X multiplier and tap a wall and loose the combo. But like I said fun game just can make you made at times. Worth the 99 cents.
Great game overall, but after the latest update, the game is a bit messed up. I like the new graphics BUT framerate is now locked to 30 FPS, when you limit the framerate, give us at least an option to enable 60 FPS gameplay so players with high-end devices can enjoy the game at full speed. Although the in-game graphics got updated, GUI remains mostly the same and needs an update too (more modern icons etc...)
Gave it four stars because there are some rendering problems in the higher levels. The levels don't render the vegetation and the guard rails properly. After multable restarts the problem remains. Otherwise the experience is awesome and the handling is good. Also the different vehicle customizations are fun. There is an Initial D Tureno. Would give five stars if they fix the rendering problem in stages that have a lot of vegetation.
Please fix the steering buttons. The steering buttons are WAY too far apart. The new UI is fine in my opinion, but looks incomplete. Some settings were removed for some reason in this update. And some control schemes in the settings do not match what you're actually using.
update: new UI looks ugly. why change something if it wasnt broken. still havent fixed the glitch with steering locking to the left (especiallynwith viper.) points systen changed, seems to be more difficult to gain multipliers. not cool. been playing this for years, update makes it seem older. to this game is one of the best drifting game. BUG THO! ESU circut will always make my steering lock left after playing for a bit or if hit the wall. this has stopped my progress in the game. please fix
This game was awesome till the last update, now it's just frustrating, I wanna Uninstall the game but I'm hoping the creator's will update it and fix all the errors, the suspension/ride hight does not save anymore, you buy all the upgrades but as soon as you change the car or do an event, the suspension changes back to stock. The paint is all mate, The update made all my cars Turbo charged and does not want to save the disable Turbo option. Theres a bunch of other stuff, but you get the idea.
The game is amazing, fun to play, and has a great selection of cars. I would like a few more cars and little issues fixed like the evo 10 not being all wheel. Also two big turn offs for the game is not having a multiplayer to race with strangers or lan race with friends. The other problem is the fps animation, things like the spedometer not moving bothers me aswell as when there is a gear change the arm just stays glued to the steering wheel.
I love the game, I used to play it alot a few years ago, I came across it again and reinstalled it, I loaded up my account from back then and had all my stuff again, I opened up the game for the second time and I lost everything besides my money, all my upgraded cars were gone and back to stock plus they were locked, and when I try to scroll across cars the only one it shows is the 86, stock not upgraded like how I had it. I love the game but this kinda bummed me out
Not bad. Glad there's a Hachiroku present. Tuning is alil hit or miss tho. Quite unforgiving even on small, minute adjustments. Also, being able to move the buttons on screen NEEDS to be added. Do slide like I like to, I have to use a crossfinger technique that is ridiculous to use the throttle & e-brake at the same time.
The game itself is good, I just wish there was some more to it like customization options or even multiplayer, otherwise it's fun to play when I have nothing else to do. There's just one main issue with it though, I keep losing my streaks to invisible walls/bumps in the roads and it's really frustrating having to start over after that happens. It's mostly on the mountain down/uphill.
