Difficult app, at best! Does NOT retain placeholder when looking through favorites, takes you back to the beginning of your list. This should be a very easy fix. Also, does NOT pull all listings that match your specific filters. NOT sure why it does not pull from all available listings. This is a huge problem for both the listing agent and those searching for a property.
OK app. Zillow is much better (although with a lot of unnecessary features) but HAR has better content. One of the main issues is the search. It's really rather bad if you want to search an area that doesn't fit one of the proscribed list of values. Right now I'm looking for homes in the Northside Village area of Houston. This isn't an MLS defined area. I could type Northside Village into Zillow and it would work. On HAR the equivalent would be ZIP = 77009 And MLS Market Area = Northside. But the app won't let me enter that combination, just one or the other, to "give me more results". I don't want more results. That's why I'm using the search parameters, to filter said results. Very frustrating!
Save search feature is awful. You set up all the filters and save it, but then it refuses to notify you of anything. And if you try to edit the search filters at all it completely resets all of the other filters so the only one saved is the one you tried to change. Sometimes if you reload the app it might come back, but sometimes you have to input everything again, hope it saves even that, and if it doesn't repeat ad nauseam. You better just get it right the first time.
Kinda finicky, very sensitive, not too user friendly in my opinion. I always have to reset my search filters bc they don't save, when they're not ignored. For example, when I choose to only view lots for sale, lots under contract, pending and sold still return. I can't buy a property that is already sold, that's why I chose to only view lots with a for sale status. Really annoying.
It's a pretty good app however, on the agent side it is missing quite a few valuable functions and tools that the website gives. Otherwise I would rate it 5 stars 👍🏻
Impossible to pull up mls from a listing. Constantly says link expired even after force closing and loging out and back in. Very frustrating when you are trying to get additional info on the go considering realtors pay so much to be a part of har.
It was working great.But the last few days I haven't been getting any notifications for new houses on the market for my saved searches.. & I was getting notifications all the time! I get notified abt price changes for homes I've hearted, but that's it. Please fix this. Also, some new construction houses aren't showing up on the map. They'll come up when I put in the address, & they'll be under "similar homes nearby" though. Other than that tho, ❤️ all the filter opt's & all the ways to search.
I have tried several times to use this app. Nothing loads or it just immediately shuts down. Awful app.
Really like the app. Only recommendation I would make is the push notifications. Every time I get a noticed on a property I saved and I click on it, it takes me to that listing. However when I click on the back button it always logs me off completely on the app. What I really want it to do is take me to the main page.
This app is terrible. It refuses to save anything I favorite and only allows me to see about 1/3 of the pictures of listings. Seems like some simple corrections could make this app 1,000% better. Extremely frustrating when you are trying to find a place to live.
I'm a realtor in the Houston area, the app use to be amazing and extremely useful as all one had to do was type in an address in the Google search bar and select the HAR link, and and create an instant CMA. for ANY property. NOW if the property is not listed on the MLS you have to open the app press instant CMA and then type in the address. VERY INCONVENIENT!!! CHANGE ASAP
Verybad. I do the filters as accurately as possible and still only same price houses show up. The map isnt worth a dime to use. Ever since they did their most recent update, the app does not work like it used to. Its a lot more complicated to use. (I have a samsung s10 phone.)
This update is awful. The map search now clusters every house in to groups and you have to keep clicking to just to see the house. And then you have to do this over and over. Terrible idea! You created a problem where there wasn't one
When you search nearby listing, on a house that you liked. It doesn't keep your previous search filters. Which is pretty stupid. There is more things to gripe about. But I just noticed this one aswel. Fix it
After ounching in everything literally shows 0 results. Even houses sent to me by my agent on MLS do not appear on this app
I have no complaints. Lot of options and there is a someone ready to assist. I love it!
This HAR app got me to my destination when google maps couldn't find the house.
Love this app. Very intuitive. Using a PC we were able to set up our search for a specific school (not just school district). Once the search was saved, we used the app on a daily basis until we found the house we wanted!
Great tool. Needs some additional filter options. For example: gas or electric range or dryer. If the user only wants a home with gas they can filter out electric. Also, exclude a subdivision.
Great 🕸️ website for looking for houses. Also it is a 4 bedroom, 4 the bedroom is an private apartment downstairs. With it's own private entrance ,. Could be an OFFICE, or business,. Has all you need to do your business.
Har really needs you to have the ability to hide what you are not interested in. Also, I do not believe all the houses come up that are available. A house I looked at yesterday, is no longer showing, and I know it's still on the market. It had been on the market 3 days when it finally came up on my search and I use the same search every time.
It's good just hard to navigate its features, like trying to save a search after you made one. Other than the little bugs to fix in design works good
Lyndsie Gourley was my agent. She is a great realtor and very persistent in helping you get whatever you want. She's there for the long and short of every step you need to take in finding that perfect home. She helped my family in just a few short months. But when it came to getting the home, it took less than a month to get it. She'll guide anyone to the perfect home and financing they need from preapproval to closing and beyond. I want to thank her for being there when getting my house.
I would like for the app to save my filters and I would also like to sucessfully search by address. The option is there but it never works.
Some listings are repeated and needs page button on top or a "back to top" to make it easier to get out of a page. Otherwise, great!
Last update sux. App continually freezes.
It doesn't show any results. I plug in the same filters I have looked up on Zillow, Trulia, and other apps and I get zero results whereas I get many results on all other platforms.
