Real Estate in Canada by Zolo

For the most part this app is great. However there is an issue with the Android version. For the past 2 months I've been getting a error message regarding connectivity roughly 10 seconds after entering the app. This has nothing to do with my wifi or data connection. The only fix is to hard close the app and re-enter. This issue happens 2 to 4 times a day. Time to work on some bug fixs Zolo.

This app is really very good, with properties updated regularly. I just want to point out that while viewing properties, on some pages while clicking back on Android phone, it takes two pages back rather than one page. It ruins the experience, if I'm viewing property's details, then clicking back takes me back to first page showing property listing rather than the property page. Is it possible to fix it please? This is also happening on iphone.

Zolo is an overall great app compared to other real estate apps, but there are ALOT of technical issues of lately that has turned me off completely! When trying to access the bottom bar such as menu, saves, alerts etc I am unable to open it. I click on it and nothing opens at all! So me savin to favourites is pointless since I cannot access it. The app would randomly shut down time to time in the middle of a search as well. The app needs a serious makeover and BETTER technical support.

This app is easy to use and really helpful. I would have given it 5 stars, however, there is one issue. When trying to delete saved properties from your favorites list, it gets stuck, and cannot be removed. I've tried many times selecting and then unselecting the heart but they're stuck to your list. This makes it difficult to use. Other then that I think the app is great.

Don't usually leave reviews, but I had to. The app's pretty great with stats, updated listings and the aesthetic is okay too. However, I have had horrendous experiences booking house tourswoth agents. They never get back to you in time, don't pick you calls and to be honest a good third of them were quite rude. They would be texting me and I would get automatic responses which so infuriating especially when you're waiting for the agent to show.. only for them to cancel! Suggested: Redfin, etc.

Exactly as a previous user described, this app is rendered useless when you try to filter your search. It doesn't matter what filter criteria you choose, as soon as you select something, the "Apply" and "Cancel" buttons are disabled and you can't exit out and I have to restart the app. The same happens on your website version as well. I use a Google Pixel 4+.

Literally every time I visit the home screen the Terms pop up is displayed, and you have to hit "I agree" or you cant do anything. After looking at 6 homes and (and thus, having to close this thing 6 times now) Im done with this app. Shame, because it seems useful, but the idiotic UI keeps it from living upto its full potential.

I really like the concept of this, the map feature is amazing How ever I get notifications from Regina And always need to switch back to my province, also the app doesn't update its listings as some of the houses I inquired about have been sold and removed from the main realtor page. Maybe it is hard to get that right, anyways just wished there was a way to set your province that you only want to get notifications about and within your price range. Great app other wise.

Zolo will not fix the square footage filter. Very frustrating and I have submitted feedback through their tool multiple times. It's really not that hard. The property ads are listed in sq meters but the filter uses square footage numbers so filtering by square footage always returns nothing. This is so silly can't believe this app has 4.5 rating in the first place. Trash

Overall, it is easy to use. When looking at condos, I wish the app would put whether there was parking included right after number of bedrooms, bath. I don't want to have to sift through the writeup to find out. If there is no parking included, I want to move on to the next listing,

Does NOT send notifications when there is a new listing even though you are signed up to receive them but does send notifications of irrelevant (ones that do NOT fit any criteria set for my filter of listings which you have to give your information to"sign up" for) listings which was the only reason the app was downloaded . Only good thing about the app is pictures of the listing & sometimes you get additional pictures in the listing not on other apps .

UX is great and well thought out. Very user friendly. My only complaint is that there is no way to filter by 'Year Built' for buyers. There is no way to provide feedback in app that I could find, so mentioning in review. It would have been my go to app otherwise. Rew.ca provides this functionality but is missing many other things that Zolo has. However I can't use Zolo because of this one limitation. I think I've tried to reach out before as well. It'd be great if you can add that feature.

Kept emailing me the wrong listings, for other random cities. I'd then go into the app to find it had set itself up to look in that city, as a search. I had never done so. Plus it wasn't searching properly when I did use it, I would enter my filters and it just ignored the parameters.

This app have a few issues. #1: Cannot signin #2: The pictures are not viewable since 2 days #3: when expanding the details of a property, it displays the bottom of the detail instead of showing from the beginning. #4: tapping the back button of my phone instead of back arrow of the app takes me back all the way from property's photos to the list I picked up the property from. It does not take to the previous screen.

I like this app but the map never works. You click on a house and it just sits at a loading box. It's super fustrating since that's the way I find houses near me. I live outside the city so it's hard to find them without using the map. Wish they would fix this.

I like the app with sold history for a specific property, also some similar or nearby properties. Very easy to use. Most recommentations were relevant. From time to time, the same area search results did not turn out to be very accurate though.

Zolo marketed itself as a free app, but as soon as that they found enough users, they stopped putting basic information that you can find on other websites for example tax or size of lots. Their statistics are not reliable at all, I emailed them about the discrepancies for their data several times with examples and documents and they've never replied back to me.

Its a great app but doesn't update listing a lot of properties are sold but the listing is still there. Lack of communication, messaged and called several times for showing or more info but never got a reply. Overall, pretty app to look at pictures of properties but if you want current listing use realtor

I can't see any photos, it tells me to add my email and then it's loading screen forever. Also when I'm scrolling all the listings every 10 seconds the window for terms and conditions pops up. I've accept 100s of times. It's soooo maddening. I used to love this app.

Amazing search results, allowing you to see sale prices and price history. The problem is, their save feature no longer works, and you can't seem to save searches or update filters for saved searches. But I love love love this app otherwise.

App was great before the latest update (disregarding some minor bugs). I have several saved searches that were easily accessible (also showed number of new listings since last viewed) but they are now less accessible and don't show the number of new listings (remains at 0)...

It's a hopeless app. Most of the houses available for rental are mentioned as 2 bed 2 bath and when you open it the sucker says it's a shared unit... I mean then mention it as one bed and not as 2 bed 2 bath. Also only a few decent people mention it's a basement, most idiots don't mention it in the ad and we waste a ton of time opening every listing to find out a huge waste if time... No offenses, but what kind of UI testing went into the app is worth giving a second thought.

Very useful app for potential home buyers. Easy and convenient to use and provides a lot of info that other websites hide (previous asking / selling prices, etc). As with anything else, there are occasional bugs, but overall my preferred real estate app.

I've had the app for awhile. It was working fine. The last week or so, it won't hold filters. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it multiple times. Now it won't show pictures or maps on top of not holding filters.

Please improve app. Functions that should be simple, constantly malfunction. The search/filter function does not save your selection accurately so often time is wasted viewing properties not of interested. I also find that the save function doesn't my selections.

Look to be a promising app if homes in Quebec get listed! I've been looking for an easier way to search for properties a la Trulia or Zillow from the US. Probably some dumb Quebec law or the app is unavailable in french prevent this from being useful to me. I'll check back every once in a while to see if properties from the Canadian province of Quebec show up. Till then, keep up the good work!
