About as reliable as the digital timetables at the bus stop... The user interface is poor but functional nonetheless. Bus stops can be added as favourites so can be opened quickly. I would up the stars on my review if the user interface and stability of the app were improved. The accuracy of the times is probably in the hands of the Transport for Ireland infrastructure... I only use the Bus Eireann functionality of the the app, no opinion on Luas etc

The upgrade has made the app completely unusable!! I used this app every day and found it really useful - you could quickly check the appropriate stop so that you're not standing around waiting too long or you don't just miss one. Majority of people who use a bus daily have a certain number of stops they need to check, so the Favourites section was ideal. Absolutely no idea how anyone thought it would be a good idea to get rid of that. Brutal!!

The old app was useable but not great. The latest update has removed all functionality. You no longer seem have a list of favourite stops, but you can star them. Useless if you have 10+ favs but only use a few on a day to day basis. You can't refresh a stop once you've clicked on it. You have to go back to the list of stops and back in to see updates times. The app crashes constantly too. Overall, it's a lot less user friendly than it was. It makes me miss the Dublin Bus app even more.

Whoever created this app should be sacked. It's the least informative app and 99% of the time it doesn't even work. It is supposed to tell you when a bus is arriving at a stop. No other features, and it still can't do that. Most of the time when you open it you see a spinning circle because it's loading, but it never stops. It always seems to be loading and rarely returns data. No errors or even a progress bar, just an app that mostly shows you a spinning circle. Google DUBLIN BUS *STOP NUMBER* if you want real time stop information and delays as you won't get it from this worthless app.

A good app but I did find it difficult to use at first. Reliability really needs to improve. Only 4 times out of 10 can I see when the next Bus Eireann bus is coming even with a full 4G signal. All of the other attempts result in a server not available error. Yes I realise I am using the app at peak times but that's what it should be designed for. If it can't handle the load during rush hour, upgrade the server, its connection and add a load balancer. Hoping to see improvement soon. Thanks.

Disaster after the last update. It was simple to use and although it didn't always work, was quite accurate and worked well mostly of the time. Hasn't worked properly since the update, not giving times or even saying some buses had been cancelled when they weren't! More complicated interface, less accurate and less accessibility. I wonder if someone actually tested this before updated it...

I prefer the previous version better. This new update seems to have a bug or something. Even if i look for a specific stop,it shows the time for the first bus stop # that i have saved on my favorites.You can't add a lot of favorite stops either. It also takes a while for it to show the time when you click for a particular stop and there's no refresh button so you always have to hit the back button and click the stop # again. Bring back the previous version please or at least make this one better

Just deleted the app as since the recent update it's become near useless. I would have used this app quite regularly before the update as the 75 stops just outside my house. It was clear, fast and reliable to a point. Now it's like they're trying to give too much unnecessary info and it has really slowed the app down...not great when you need to know when the next bus is due there and then...especially when it's not a very regular bus service. If it's not broke, don't fix it!!

Truly abysmal update. When I click on 1 stop a different 1 is shown. The arrival times are way off and seem to be no more than a random guess. The suggested dart arrival times are completely different to the ones in the train app. Some buses are missing completely. Before the update this app was quite good but this is way way worse. That's not to mention all my favourites disappearing and the app name changing.

This is literally one of the worst apps I've ever used. The user interface is horrible, it's a nightmare to navigate. The new update made the app even more difficult to use. You can't favourite stops anymore? Well you can, but there's no tab exclusively for favourites. You can't even look up stop numbers properly! It only gives you stop numbers in the 100s. Please fix this monstrosity, people have to use it to get to work and school. The Dublin Bus app was so much better.

I'm not typically one to give an app a 1 star rating, but there are so many problems with this app that people are now dependent on, and RTI just don't seem to care to fix them. Main problems are the time calculations are way off compared to the previous Dublin bus app, to the point where you don't know whether a bus will be 5 minutes earlier or 5 minutes later than stated, and the huge refresh rate as you search for bus stops, which is a pain in both data usage and usability.

The newest app redesign is a bit confusing. I'm a designer and its experience is not as good as it should be. Also there should be some sort of key or identification of when a bus is delayed. State visually that is not on time and that the minutes due should be red or something if its gone past its scheduled due time. I also noticed if you scroll down the list of buses for a stop, past buses, it has a warning triangle ⚠ and red date on it but it doesn't clarify what that means.

so this was updated last night. and it is now unusable. the whole app has fundamentally changed. before you used to get a list of busses due at a certain stop with times in minutes...... This little update deleted all 12 of my regular stops and doesn't include my morning bus on the screen.... in fact according to the app no 75/175 is passing for over an hour.... which is weird because I could have sworn they were scheduled. On top of changing everything you can't save stops anymore! uninstall.

This app used to be really good and now just went through the why fix something if it isn't broken scenario. Lost all my saved stops due to the update. The user experience has degraded. Something as simple as regfreshing the live time can't be done with dragging the screen down you now have to exit that stop and re enter it to view the updated time. Furthermore, it's gotten laggy.

Awful after the update, the interface looks nicer, sure, but is extremely unpleasant to use. All my saved stops were deleted. The new search function completely omits many stops with the same name. After searching, stop numbers only seem to be given to half of the stops, and if you choose the wrong stop you have to re type your search and scroll again. Any stop you tap on gets added to the front page, creating a huge mess, wiht no separate area for saved stops. Completely pointless update.

the developers of this app should be ashamed of themselves, it lacks in just about everything that a good app should be, it's clumsy, confusing and difficult to navigate and keeps crashing, its just a terrible frustrating experience. I wish there was a competing alternative app.

Well done. You've gone from a bad app. To an even worse app. The information of bus timing is way off(see other reviews), the map is janky, the saved stops doesnt prepetuate to this update so had to add all stops manually and in doing so i discoveree search is so so bad. Oh. and the entire app doesn't list in my apps collection/homescreen. have to visit playstore and click 'open' to get to the app. Weirdly bad. Doesnt even install correctly in latest version of Android. Fie your dev team

This app is honestly unusable. Zooming in it out freezes the app. The search function doesn't work, and on the rate occasions it gives you any information, it's often incorrect. It's extremely frustrating to use, especially when Dublin bus have a perfectly good app. Why they didn't clone it is beyond me.

the amount of times ive been left stranded by this app is ridiculous. sometimes, its reliable but more often than not buses that are 3-5 mins away dont show up and then disappear off the app altogether. for example, my bus was due 10 mins ago. it was 2 mins away 8 mins ago and now the next one isnt due for 20 mins. but who cares about that right?its not like theres enough conpetition to force a higher level of service. I think ill just walk home in the rain. itll be quicker

Terrible app. Does not have an option to refresh, you have to press back and then go back in to see the times. Buses often keep changing between cancelled and not cancelled but worst of all, I'll type in a stop number, click on it and without me realising it will show me the times for the opposite way which has made me late for things several times!

Inaccurate information renders this app next to useless. It's been updated with a lot of effort gone into a new ui. But the fundamental problem was not fixed - very frustrating to see so much affort go into the design and so little into the underlying data quality issues. Still end up standing at empty bus stops while the app tells me a bus has been and gone.

This app is shocking. 90% of the time the live times don't work it's just a generic time and when it does it's normally always wrong. I've been waiting at bus stops and 2 busese were supposed to come according to the app and the never turn up m an hour later a bus finally turns up. This system shouldn't be hard to implement as alot of counties have done it right. Don't even bother wasting your time using it

seriously awful update. The rail times seems to have disappeared. If developing for Android I would suggest going native. The UI is ugly and the UX is horrendous, I actually cannot find my way around the app, Ive spent 5 mins (which is 4 mins too long) and I still have no clue what the app is trying to do. Updates are welcomed if they improve the quality of the application, this really hasnt. Ill have to remove it as all it is doing is consuming memory

The app used to be great before the update. The departure times shown were a little inaccurate at times, though that wasn't a big deal. The app had a beautiful and user-friendly interface, and it actually worked. The updated app not only looks abhorrent, but some features are also uneccessarily difficult to navigate. The constant crashing really adds the cherry to the cake. My eyes would hurt less and I'd undoubtedly experience less crashing if I drove while staring at the sun.

the app has given me several times for the 75 that just are not correct. twice in one day I have gone to my bus stop at the time for the 75 & waited for it not to arrive. Times shown on the app are different from the times supplied at the bus stop and due to this i have had to wait in the rain twice for no reason but to wait for a bus that wasn't arriving. the service of the app is terrible and so is the app itself as it is completely counter intuitive, non user friendly & just poorly made.

Terrible app, it was working perfectly fine before the update, now even if you're in the bus stop and having that particular stop as favorite, the results for the real time is about another different one. I hope they fix this because the app is actually useless if you can not get the information about the stop you're looking for.
