- Select products to display by category, name, and time
- Pan and zoom map interface dynamically
- Display current location on map
- Animate by relative or absolute time steps
- Save custom favorites
Future enhancements will include capabilities for users to create custom geographic areas that will denote notification regions. Events such as severe weather, floods and fires will trigger a notification message directly to the user's mobile device.

Not working on Samsung Galaxy J3 with latest updates and firmware. Can we get a fix please? I will email you if I don't get a response. I use this app for meteorology work. I also just tried it on s4 and it is having the same problems.
When it works, it's great. I love the website. But the app will not open on my phone. Every time I click on it, it just closes right back out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail.
Watermarks all over the screen. Big text covering the image all over the place, no indication on how to get rid of it
I loved this app, but does not open any longer. Just tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck, still crashes on startup on my Samsung S8 plus.
Downloaded on Huawei P30: I've re-downloaded the app 3+ times already and no matter what I try, it never opens up... it keeps crashing in blank grey. FIX THIS!
Installed on two different devices, Nexus 6P and Nexus 7, didn't work on either one.

Helpfull app, but now cant open it, always crashed, sent report log (android) n canot share to other socmed (gif file)
This app is just like the website version having the latest data. A bit buggy though. Crashes when doesn't have a singal. Had to reinstall it in order for it to work. Needs a legand bar for the different overlays like on the computer.
Very good app for viewing GOES-16, makes my job a lot easier. However, there is virtually no exception handling, so for example when I'm working and need to use the app it's generally when I have spotty signal so if it can't get a connection then the app just crashes. Also since I've been using GOES-16 they have been changing the names of the products so when they do that then the app won't even open it just crashes on start-up. The only way to fix it is to clear app data and relaunch.
Loved the app in the beginning, but just crashes for the past few months. Would love to find out how to fix as others are still able to use it.
Crashes as soon as you load it. Can't use at all. Submitted log files. Love to use the web version.

I've used the SSEC website for years and have always appreciated the quality content. This app delivers and does not disappoint. Best app for viewing satellite imagery I have found. Thank you SSEC.
Probably not for everybody because some of the product names require some level of knowledge to understands. But this is a great way to view lies of weather data
