FAQs:
* Why can't I install Rec. on my device?Your phone/tablet must be running Android 4.4 or above.
* Why do I need root?If you are on Android 5.0, or above, then you no longer need root and can ignore this question (and the next one)!However, if you are running Android 4.4, then your device must be rooted in order for Rec. to function correctly/at all.
* How do I root my device?Unfortunately the process differs for every Android device, and so there is no universal rooting solution
- however CF-Auto-Root is a good place to start. Otherwise, please search for a root guide for your particular device using Google.
* Can Rec. record audio?Yes! Audio is recorded via the mic.
* Why is the recording laggy and slow on my Samsung Galaxy S2/S3/Note/...?This seems to be an issue with Exynos-based devices not playing nicely with the native screenrecord function, so there's not a lot I can do about it right now (I also don't have access to any Samsung devices). Sorry!
* Does Rec. work with Intel x86 based devices?It should work fine for devices running Android 5.0+, but probably not for devices running Android 4.4. Unfortunately, I don't have access to any x86 devices to test on, but if you do try it, please let me know how you get on.
* Are there any other known issues?Enabling the Audio option may cause the recording to fail on the LG G2 (on Android 4.4 only). I will attempt to resolve this as soon as I have access to an LG G2 device to test with.

Top Tips: 1. Disable notifications in your Superuser app to prevent the notifications from appearing in the beginning of your recordings.2. Switch the Size width/height values to flip the recording orientation.3. Tap the Size label to get your device's native resolution.

This app is amazing and it can record audio from whatever game you are playing and your own voice at the same time! Also, it is optional if you want audio or not. The only improvement they need to make is that they need an option if they just want game audio and none of your own sound. Overall, I definitely recommend this app if you want to grow your YouTube channel.
the app does what it says it does. check the settings before hitting record. I only tested a 30 second clip but it stored the video file fine on my SD card. I dont like that it records sound through microphone rather than internal sound but I understand why it does that. this does not require root.
Most the features you can get from other recorders without paying a monthly charge. This app will also record using you camera whenever they want because you sign a terms policy to use it. Con: Will nor record sound. Pro: It runs in the background so apps like Snapchat or snow do not count it as screen capturing.
This is one of the only screen recorders that give you an unlimited time amount without a watermark. The app is quick and easy to use, includes an off and on timer, and the videos go straight to your files. I use this app a lot and I highly reccomend it.
I think that there should be a way to unblock notifications, and the video's, since I have blocked notifications, are not even showing up so I can view them, and then I go into storage, and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT I RECORDED THERE. that is what I think. try it for yourselves. or, maybe, don't, because then u will be as miserable as me.
Does not work on my note 9. when you hit record the record button changes to stop but there is never a countdown and there is no saving and there is no status up on the status bar like there used to be. No video was recorded no audio is recorded. on my Galaxy S9 , it just comes up with a media error
This is a bad app 1. You can only record up to 1 second on my device I try pressing the minute and it won't let me change it 2.The sound is horrible 3. It records it straight away and dosent let you get on an app please can you fix this? Please!! And I'll love it and rate it 5 stars!
It's not that bad. It used to really help me with my Youtube videos, but this weird thing happened and the videos are always so short now (1 second). I can't upload them on Youtube! I tried deleting and reinstalling, but that didn't help. I'll try downloading it again and waiting a few hours to see if that helps.
The app is good. But the full version trust me I took the risk and bought it it makes everything so much easier the presets and everything is just better with the full version.
I'm giving three stars for this app. I kinda' like it because I'm not lagging when I'm playing games while using Rec. But the problem is the screen record won't save in my device and I don't even know why. Like really? Do I still need to download Rec. Pro for my videos to save??????
Defaults to program settings everytime! I have to go in everytime and enable audio and set the timer past 5 min!! It's horrible when you are trying to record something of relevance!! I would not recommend.
This app is EPIC. Its audio quality is great and the gameplay looks smooth, but there is a problem. So, I have a chromebook, which is the problem. Chromebooks have a wide screen, and this app did not specify that it is for mobile. It records on any ratio you choose, but no one knows how to do that. So until you can KNOW how the ratio will look, this is staying 4 star. At least until I figure out the ratio size.
