Note: DIESEL require accessibility service access to get the app usage information, without this access app will not work, so Please enable the accessibility service for the app by following below staps:

Note: In case two rows in notification are swiping each other frequently, than try the below suggestion.

Great app for quick access to your apps from lock screen or from the swipe down menu. Yes, some phones have a floating dot for quick access to apps or shortcuts built in but this can be used for ease and works really well. You can change which apps you want and the order on display. You can pay extra for additional rows but I don't that's necessary as you can have 5 apps. It does sometimes warn me on my S21 ultra that it is using battery but I guess it needs to run in the background.
Works pretty well. In Android Pie, Samsung's "Suggested Apps" under Recent Apps list seem to be driven by AI-not customizable, limited to 5 apps. With Diesel. I can choose up to 12 apps or System Shortcuts to appear in a notification accessible from anywhere and the appearance of the notification is highly customizable. Well worth $0.99!!
It doesn't scroll horizontally, and only shows you 1-2 rows of apps. There is also no way to quickly search apps by name for blacklisting (you must manually scroll), and the description in its menu options is a light-gray color which is confusing because it makes options look faded-out and unselectable. Lastly, the "D" Diesel icon remains in my Android 8.0.0 status bar no matter what I try to do to hide it. 1★ because there was a white box too upon restart and I couldn't hide it either.
It keeps asking for accessibility even though it's on, but it's technically still working. There's always issues on startup where the app continually crashes. It works after maybe five minutes and it's a very useful app otherwise.
Please fix 3 things. (1) After reboot, it doesn't auto start even after makinh it 'don't optimize' in battery setting. (2) I have turned on ita accessibility setting but in the app setting, it keeps asking to turn it on. (3) second row becomes first in notification area!
very good app you can access your chosen apps from any page and can choose how many apps are avalable in the dropdown menu. Its very easy to set up and use. Well worth adding to your phone
this is the most coolest app I ever had on my iPhone. But it kept crashing my phone. if you can fix it I will redownload it and change my rating to a 5 star. my galley s7 just didn't like it and it took me over 5 minutes to uninstall it. please shout me a email when you get it fixed.
Kept asking to enable its Accessibility Service *after having done so*, and whereas it clearly was. *Disable/Re-enable* the_Accessibility Service was no cure. Rebooting my device was no_cure either. So I took the refund road. I wonder whether this problem results from having had both Diesel non-Pro and Pro simultaneously on my device (same svc name). This isn't a RECENT switcher. This is just shortcut bar. RECENT switcher must give ability to switch between running apps.
Pro crashes on Pie, free doesn't. Android manifest is missing permission to show accessible service in foreground. Have to recompile APK - a pain. On Pie: Permission Denial: startForeground requires android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE for com.bhanu.recentapps.DieselAccessibilityService. Add: .... Such a help application. But my only concern that the notification are frequently gone then again I have to opened the app for notification. If support team will help me to fix this issue so it will be great
Been using Diesel for quite a while now. Instant access to important, most & recently used apps makes phone use fast & efficient. Great when you use your smartphone for work and out of the office.
Do not get the free version it has was to many ads but the concept of this app is what i been looking for after trying free upgraded to pro well worth the money.
On Andr 8.0, works only briefly after 1st install.Fails consistently after that, despite accessibility grant. Reinstall & reboot don't fix.
Accessability bug on nokia 6.1 plus, android 9. Already sent an email. Would LOVE to give Diesel 5 stars if it works!

Warning. OVERPERMISSIONED APP.
I love the app and it still works because I saved my config, but I bought the app for a reason. It won't really work on Android 10. I launch it, it crashes, but it does stay in my notifications. I would be cool with that, but I need to make changes to shortcuts. When can we expect an update for Android 10 compatibility? 5 stars to 2, but will put it back to 5 once there's a working update.
