The install replaced all of my screens containing my frequently used apps. Fortunately all of my apps are still installed but now I have to move my frequently used apps back to my screens if I want to use this app. I will not use this app ever!!!! I uninstalled this app using the Google Play store by searching Recipes Home, then clicking Uninstall. Then my app screens came back. Now I don't know is there is any spyware or malware on my phone.
Do not install. This app downloads other apps and changes entire screens on phone. You can't get rid of it. Will not uninstall. Company denies my claims, but I have 7 apps on screens which were not there earlier. Developers stated they improved arrangement of apps . Well I knew exactly how I wanted my screens arranged. I didn't need their help.
I have been cooking the Family Dinner for over 50 years. First to help out at home, and then for my own family and now mostly for me and my husband. I have a few good cookbooks too. This App has given me several new ideas on some of my old favorite recipes, and new recipes I think could become new Favorites. So, I hope you download this Recipe App and enjoy!
Do not download this app it awful! it changes, rearranges, and things dissappear on your screen. It took me a week to fix the problem.
It takes over your phone. I couldnt close it out even though I did not give the app permission to be my home screen. The recipes looked good, but i couldnt find the ones I wanted...
this is big of a help that I have found, the knowledge of food to understand how to start eating right.
When I downloaded this app, it changed the entire interface on my phone. Apps were moved, the search bar looked different, icons were changed, everything. When I (finally) managed to locate the settings menu, it wouldn't allow me to uninstall the app. I was able to do so through Google play, however, something is very wrong here and I would really think before downloading it. I've downloaded and worked with many many apps over the years and never experienced anything like this before.
It changed my whole screen layout and there's no uninstall option. I didn't like the recepies, and suddenly my whole screen is changed. I don't need to open the app to access it. It's a great idea, but please let me revert this and delete your app! Edit: Still hate that you changed my layouts without asking, but I figured out how to change the layout back. Please tell people this in a tutorial or something in the app, it really scared me.
Initially wanted the recipes and yes some are good recipes, but after getting out of it my phone started changing. There were all kinds of apps on my home screen that I couldn't get rid of. I couldn't get into my apps page or into my phone. As soon as I deleted the app which took some doing, my phone went back to normal. Needless to say I'm not going to keep this on my phone. Uninstalling immediately!
Absolutely amazing, it rearranges all your apps so you won't have to such a time saver. In addition it also adds four new apps to your phone. Who wouldn't want a recipe app controlling their entire phone? And if that wasn't awesome enough you also can't delete it so it's stuck with you forever so you'll never have to look up recipes again.
It has COMPLETELY rearranged all the apps and settings on my homescreen. If I wanted it changed, I would have changed it myself. Literally, I cannot believe developers would think a recipe app is so important that it should just take priority over everything else. Food, while important, is not my life. Weather-gone, News- gone, autodial-gone., so many other things. Cant get back to all my apps...UNINSTALL. It's going to take hours to undo what this has done. I do not appreciate this at all.
Don't get it! I downloaded it and opened it, looked at a few recipes and thought it was good. Until I closed it and found out it had reconfigured my phone. All my apps were rearranged. Some apps I couldn't open at all. When I went to uninstall it wouldn't let me. It took almost 2 hours to figure how to uninstall it.
Awful. I downloaded the app for all the great recipes. The fact this developer thinks it's okay to change how someones phone works is not cool. It completely made my ocd kick in and made me go into instant kill mode. I have my phone set up a certain way that makes it easy to use and do really like things that take control of how things work. I believe people should have the right to setup their phones and personalize it to fit their needs. Your app doesn't allow that freedom.
As soon as i downloaded this app, it changed the format of my phone and all of the apps on it. The app does not want you to uninstall it. I couldn't uninstall it from the apps menu on my phone or in my settings, I had to go to the Google play store. This app got rid of everything I had on my home page and it was incredibly frustrating trying to change anything back
Soooo many recipes to choose from. Simple down home cooking. Nothing to complicated even kid friendly for helping out. Also a shopping list for your convenience.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!! I have a Galaxy S10, and this app changed all my home screen folders to a round shape and increased the size of the icons; could only partially see 4 of the 7. My icons were rearranged My app data folder disappeared. The app would not close. I had to use the Google Play Store to uninstall. Too bad it did look good in the Play Store.
DO NOT INSTSTALL THIS APP. It's misleading because "recipe" is a joke. It takes over your phone. Not immediately for me, but while I was asleep. Apps missing and/or rearranged.
I thought I would like this app. But, I don't. As soon as I downloaded it, I'm sure it changed the format of my other apps. AND NOW I CAN'T DELETE IT. I WANT IT OFF MY PHONE. IT SAYS I ONLY CAN 'FORCE STOP' I WANT IT OFF MY PHONE 🤬😡 I'M VERY UPSET 😡🤬😠
Great way to see cost, nutrientional value, ingredients, time, and overall cost for meal which gives me effectiveness for home or restraunt. Prep time is plus and dessert follow up is awesome so far love this app.
they got some real good recipes for everything on this apps and that have some recipes for Lost weight and diabetes and high blood pressure as well so they have some good smooth as well for have heart problems as well
Terrible. This app automatically set itself to the default app when I open my phone. I couldn't access my phone until I went into the settings of the app, switched it off from being the default app, then finally it would let me uninstall. This app took control of my phone and I imagine many others, and I hope this review helps people restore their phones.
Seemed to take over my phone. I downloaded the app and it basically asks you everytime you try to change the page if you want to use the app or another app to open. Everything, when I'm trying to open my email try Google search. When I opened it it had moved my home screen and put in all these different apps. I uninstalled it immediately once I could get to the app icon.
Horrible & scary App! It took over my phone completely! It changed my apps and icons around and removed my saved screen shots and favorites! My homescreen was totally different from what I was used to seeing! It put dozens of unwanted apps on my homescreen! Believe me, you will NOT recognize your phone after loading this app! STAY AWAY!!! I had problems uninstalling it after several attempts! Go to: SETTINGS, Applications, Recipes Home app, Uninstall! You may need to do this several times.
Do not download!!! It took over my home screen. I couldn't navigate. The home screen even had sponsored apps advertised while on it. It was terrible I couldn't figure out how to go back to the original. I tried to uninstall it but it only have me the option to force quit the app. After force quitting the uninstall button was still grayed out. Pressing the home button relaunched the app. It was aweful please avoid at all cost.
I'm impressed. I had to give up my huge cook book library to downsize. What a great replacement ...thanks
Not good at all! As soon as I downloaded it, it completely rearranged my apps on my phone and added other apps on my phone. When I clicked the option to search recipes by ingredients and pressed go, it kept saying I had to enter an ingredient. I did! When I looked it up on the internet about disabling it, there were some websites that claim this is a scam app that takes over your phone and gives info to other companies.
This could have been a good app, as the recipes are legit. HOWEVER, upon download it rearranged everything in my phone. I had all of my apps organized in according folders, but this app deleted all folders, added extra apps and made it impossible for me to find apps im looking for. You can't Uninstall it normally; you HAVE to do it through the app store, and its hard to find. The "help" they have isn't helpful at all. There's no option to just have the recipe app or to disable the features.
I dont often leave reviews but the developers need to know - no one likes it when you change their layouts! I like my homescreen the way it is and my "optimization" is not the same as everyone else's. I wanted to try out the app and see if i liked the recipes you offer but i didn't get that far. As soon as it started changing things, I uninstalled it. Please don't make your "optimization" automatic. Let users try the app for the recipes and shopping list. You can OFFER the "optimization" later.

This app takes over your phone. Everytime I try to access any other app I constantly have to play w/my phone to get to the home screen. When I looked up a few recipes I was so disappointed. They either give you only part or no ingredients. If it gives you the ingredients they most likely had no amount. I also found that some of the recipes had no directions. So basically you need to look at several different recipes before you can figure out how to actually make anything and then improvise.
