Recording app: Audio recorder & Voice recorder

This is without a doubt the worst recording app I've ever seen in my entire life. Not only do they think something as simple as a recording app is worth $200/year to subscribe to, it even fails at the most basic function of handling audio files correctly. I literally just recorded 3 tracks using this app and already, one of the files is corrupt and non-playable, uploadable, or usable. So good thing I didn't trust anything important to this piece of garbage or else I would be screwed. Hard pass!!

The audio quality is very good, but once I recorded 3 files to test, I could never access then since the app would crash after clicking in the folder icon. In addition to that, I had to click multiple times in "keep trying basic version" for session, the ad for the pai version is really aggressive - how would I pay for the better version if I can't even access my recording?

I was using it for quite some time, I'm using it for vocal feminization tests. I recorded quite a few recordings but now when I try to open the audio files it crashes, I restarted my phone even though it doesn't really need it since it's a samsung galaxy note. I liked it for the times it worked but now I very much dislike it. Thankyou for the app but no thanks for the programming.

Crashed everytime I tried to get into my audio recordings. Also the pro version costs a quarter of the entire adobe suite over the course of a year. $1392 per year for adobe. $324.99 a year to remove ads, unlock some premium things like cut and trim, when you can literally use a load of free apps to do this. Also getting premium removes ads, wow. Congratulations on being the first ever app I put a review on.

I recorded at least 10 recordings above 10 minutes long (most over an hour) spread out over a few weeks. I got to looking at my recordings and only 4 were saved in my files and each were under 6 minutes. On top of that, 2 of those recordings cut out after the 3 minute mark. Save yourself a headache and explore your options because this ain't the one.

Absolutely awful in that it PROMPTS YOU TO SIGN A SUBSCRIPTION with your card ready to go for $199.99/year. 200 dollars a year to use an audio recorder that crashes? This is a bait and switch scam app. It will try to charge you $200 and then ask you why not? It'll give you a 3 day free trial if you just sign up for $200 and get charged after your trial. Do not download this app. Find another free recorder. This crashed for me twice in the three recordings I recorded.

I have been working on a project for hours now and going back an reviewing the audio clips I have made. Now anytime I try an access my audio the app "crashes." I'm pretty sure it's a way for them to make you buy the subscription. Speaking of that they give you a 2 day before reminder on the 3 day subscription to cancel your free trial. Also probably your paid trial but that's not what I'm upset about

Don't waste your money. I needed it to record an important family event and it didn't record any audio, despite me checking and monitoring it to see that it was recording during the event. When I went to check, it had retained nothing. Really disappointed. Terrible waste of money for an app that never works.

This app was doing very well until the third recording that I did as the app crashed and even when I tried again after refreshing the app would crash again and again each time I would click the folder button to view my recordings. I don't understand the issue that is going on but until it's fixed I can't give a good review.

DO NOT INSTALL!! This is a SCAM APP. This app never worked after I installed it. I set it on my desk to record a meeting. Seemed so simple to use but the app had a loud stretching sound upon play back. Tried again and still could not hear anything but the stretching. Cancelled the app the same day but they have it programmed not to acknowledge the cancellation. Then processed the payment even though I cancelled within 2 hours. This is a SCAM APP and they will not answer any emails or will refund my money. ,

Ok first of all, I knew this app wasn't gonna be perfect...but it's so bad. I just downloaded it about 5 minutes ago and the first thing I noticed was that there are so many adds as soon as you open it. It really bothered me. Even if you don't close the app, when you go back to it there's 10 adds waiting for you to ask you about the VIP membership thing. And the second thing is that once I was done recording, the app just closed. I tried to go back on but it just kept crashing. DON'T DOWNLOAD!!!

Free is just a boring audio recorder. Free Trial is 3 days with very little writing that indicates it switches to a $199.99 annual subscription. And unless it has professional controls it's hard to imagine what is worth that much. There was no benefit that I saw except it promotes itself as "best hi-def audio". I have no idea how it backs up that claim

I feel robbed. I was not notified when the trail period was going to end and was charged $265 for a year subscription for simply trying out the app. I've contacted Google twice trying to get a refund, and have so far been unsuccessful. I've tried reaching out to the developer now as well. I'll remove this review if I get my refund, otherwise, be warned, you may get robbed of $265. Happy holidays :(

This is a TERRIBLE APP. I had a task due and I had to record me saying alot of stuff and half of the recordings were either incomplete of just didn't save. Some did save but the audio wasn't acctuly there. That recording took me two hours and now I have to re do it. Do not get this it is horrible 😡

Unfortunately wasted 2 hours thinking it was recording a special event in the not yet subscribed mode. This app only records when in actual trial mode. Dev should have made it more clear that even though it looks like it's recording it actually is not. Extremely peeved that I didn't get a sound recording of the spcial event.

The free trial ends and they charge your card. They have tried twice, I just emailed the developer and I will be reporting this to Google apps as well. After the free trial you should be able to cancel and not be charged the yearly fee.

It worked fine for about ten minutes, but then every time I tried to look at what I recorded it crashed. I don't know if this was the app or my phone, but I'm very dissatisfied. Also every time you open the app it gives you two ads for their premium option and won't let you close them for a few seconds.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP Same complaint as several others. I downloaded the app on a trial basis as I usually do knowing I would get an email notifying me that a charge was being placed on my account. That never happened and was charged $199.99. I tried to resolve this with Google and after a couple of attempts found out the developer of this app is the contact in seeking refunds. So far that is a dead end.

Hi, i downloaded this app for trial. Linked my card to it. I dint use this app much since it was not related to what i wanted and deleted it within an hour. It didn't came across my mind that the subscription was still active. Hence it deducted a huge amount. I've requested a refund mail too. Kindly check and please help me with this situation. I would really appreciate your kind gesture.

Deleted 10 minutes after use... first it bombards you with ads before you can even record and the after you record and listen to a few recordings the app seems to self detonate and has some kind of technical error keeping you from even going to the save recordings page and boots you from the app. I would not recommend this app ever!

When something makes you try to just use the trial over and over ridiculous amount of times and keep sending you back and it's just such a scam to me and they want 200 bucks I mean come on I think and I come up with stuff all the time and if it's worth it that'd be great but I need to be able to use it right that second because I come up with stuff and oftentimes I can't remember anybody knows that where they can send me to find something free and easy ☺️

I feel the purpose of this app is to mislead you into purchasing their very high subscription. If you get stuck in the subscription immediately look in Google store for a refund option when viewing this apps page. Call the Google 1800 number for a refund before google pays the developer If your still having trouble talk to your bank/cc. This is intended for if you accidentally purchase the app and are having trouble getting a refund. The developer would not respond to my email.

Absolutely pathetic! Only recorded 1 minute of speech when the recording time is almost 15mins. This was something super mega important that I needed to know. I replied on your app and it failed me! I put in my card details in. As it says cancel anytime, except there are no settings options or way to cancle! So now what I cancle my card??? This experience has made me rather angry!

Absolutely horrible app. First of all, it stops recording audio randomly. Second of all, it just stopped working for me. Not too good when you have a music assignment that needs to be done. This app is hot garbage.

I was charged $213.99, and was never notified by the app, or Google. The mention of a "subscription fee" is a screen that flashes for less than a second upon launching the app. After that is the main app screen where there is no way to access any sort of user agreement or other information whatsoever about the app. I dont understand how Google allows this to remain in the play store. This is a blatant scam and must be a gross violation of the play store rules. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! This is litterly a FAT SCAM! The recorder keeps crashing then they asked me if I wanted to buy member ship I saw the price and I said No ma'am. And then I started using the app. The recorder kept crashing. So I tried again it still crashed restarted my phone still crashed. Then I got an email from Google saying that 199 dollars was taken from my credit card. It's like they automatically took money out. I wanted a refund emailed the devs DEAD END! DON'T DOWNLOAD THE APP!

After 10 minutes my phone screen went to sleep. The app stopped recording until I unlocked again and then it kept the same track going but missed everything in between. It wasn't something I could get repeated either.

This app is a scammers app! Apparently I downloaded this app and gave authorization to this app to charge me $246.00 at 4:30am 3 days ago. I never had any use for this app, I've never heard of this app and I would never purchase an app for almost 300 dollars for a voice recording mechanism that is built into my phone already. I have contacted Google play and as of right now they have been less than helpful. I was completely unaware this app had been downloaded on my account. Be aware! :(

Absolute garbage. I can't even do something so basic as cut a long recording in half without getting sent back to the beginning of the recording if I make the slightest wrong movement. Predatory as hell.

To put it simply, this app does not work. I am a vocal performance major and so it is ESSENTIAL for me to be able to record my lessons. I tried using this app to record my first lesson of the semester, and now I can not even access the 53 minutes of coaching I am supposed to review by Tuesday. Do not get this app. Not only will you not be able to use what you have recorded, but the app will relentlessly advertise it's a premium version, which is a complete scam. This app is trash.
