Recoup

So stupid! Must have a "badge" for every $5 you want to withdrawal. Earn badges by signing up for bank accounts, build credit accounts, barkbox, uber eats, etc. I banked $15 before trying to cash out and found out I needed 3 badges to withdraw. I already have all the bank accounts or services offered for badges so I can't gain a badge so I'm stuck until they add something new. Also you earn $5 worth of points with the badge so that's all you'll be able to cash out. No point on earning points.

Simple, Easy To Use...Very Effective & Efficient Rewards Program Which Does An Incredible Job of Both Setting & Subsequently Meeting Expectations.

This is my first time using this app and so far so good. The user interface is extremely simple. Dose not require someone to be a tech wiz to move through the functions and even offer rewards such as cash back on purchases already made before signing up for the app. Definitely would recommend giving it a shot. Especially if you have a ton of digital receipts or bank fees. Definitely a 5 out of 5 so far.

This app is legit. When I connected my cards si they could look through my statements to see where I can money back they found a lot and it worked. For example it sid I should request a 1 time refund from Netflix and all I did was tap an icon, it gave me a script to copy, then a link to Netflix customer service. I pasted the script and in less than 5 minutes they agreed to give me a refund. I was blown away that it actually worked. I thought it was all going to be bull. Bit it worked.

Love the app!! But I am getting pop ups asking me to rate it every 10 seconds, regardless of the fact that I have already provided my opinion and rated the app. I originally gave Recoup 5 stars and would like to restore the other 2, but this issue is making it almost impossible to use this awesome service. Please just make the pop ups stop!!!!!!

I had Recoup for a while now but really haven't used it. So I'm just getting in to figure it out again. I've been trying to earn points by video reviewing places I've been and the screen to record looks like it's 10 years old and I can't submit anything same thing. Same thing with scanning receipts I can't scan them because it won't focus it's too close. Please fix this so I can't continue using.

Forced to create an unpaid commercial for the company/product you do free advertising for. $5 cashouts. But you need a badge too. In fact every time you go to cashout a new one's required. Only gotten by signing up for something off their offerwall. They get access to all your data: Email, credit, debit & bank accounts; where, when & what you purchased; GPS; ALL personalis. Make a commercial, EVERYTIME, you go to collect coins. Don't forget, daily sign ins or lose points. EASY HARD PASS!

Did what was advertised, looked for my bank fees and got me a hundred bucks back. Edit: I'm a moving this to a three-star and it has nothing to do with the service they provide. The "REVIEW ME" prompt pops up on the screen literally every 30 seconds whether or not I reviewed the app. I've reviewed in app and here. I will change it back to five stars if this is fixed.

This crazy app asked for permission to send emails in my name to start claims. Little did I know that it would message random merchants mentioning how much I have spent at their company in the past in order to demand a 30% coupon to use in the future. A total embarrassment, because I had already been given a coupon a few days earlier. Now I'm trying to cancel the acct and unlink my bank accts and there's not an option in the app for that. I had to fill out this 1998 looking form through email.

This app is controlled opposition. They lull you into a false sense of security so you won't think about giving them money to do nothing at all. This app is a tangled web of hollow promises & frankly, a top notch distraction designed with grand claims and misdirection. They make you agree to not contact your bank while they negotiate on your behalf, but they never make the effort promised while take credit for any refunds you receive. It's quite the screw job that you never saw coming.

I really like the concept and idk if it is just my phone but, when I go to take pictures of my receipts, my screen just looks like a green screen. I've tried multiple times and same result every time. Also, it keeps making me connect my bank account and when I go to scan my account for 'rebates and other stuff' it just continuously loads. 🤷🏻‍♀️ **I would really like to be able to use yalls app though.. help me fix it and I'll change my rating to 5⭐

Very Suspicious. Creating the account proved difficult, then adding my bank info almost impossible. After fighting with the app to allow me to paste the verification code in, as the window would simply flash on then off again too quockly to most times push fast enough, if that makes sense. It was very odd. To top it off the whole fiasco ended with a very suspicious error code. Feel as if they just stole my bank info. No good

This app has potential but needs more proving out to be successful and user friendly. You need 5000 points and one badge to cash out. Badges require completing partner offers where you have to spend money. I also tried the $1 to see if they could help with bank fees. It didn't work, I wasted $1 and ended up chatting in to my bank and the removed the fee in 5 min. They also deduct points for no reason. I tried to contact them but no response. Save your time and money and don't download this app.

It's ok if you're set to being a "trendsetter" or aprofessional review critic of some sort. I can't compelete my profile because I haven't earned the receipt scanning badge which by the way is not available to me as an Android owner. I also have severe anxiety making video reviews unattainable for me also. Leaving clicking stars as the only option available for earning.. When it all boils down this app best suits me by tracking my spending from anywhere I may have money. Vacuum

Great Service!! Recoup drew up & forwarded on my behalf the documents required by my bank to formally request an overdraft fee reimbursement on my account. After a quick phone call from my bank, my account was quickly credited (by my bank) for previous overdraft fees! And while Recoup did deduct $25 from my reimbursement for the cost of their service, it was still an extra $75 back in my pocket that I wouldn't have had otherwise! Yay! 😀

I figured I would give it a try and see if I can some extra spending money out of their service. I only gave them one of my checking accounts information. That checking account is a higher level checking account, therefore every month they reimburse me for the monthly service fee of $14.95. Recoup took credit for that amount and charged me $3.73. It's not that much money Recoup charged me, however every month I'm sure that would start adding up overtime. I just filed a dispute with my bank

Recoup kept sending me the emails that they were still working on it but I really wanted to get waived those fees as soon as possible. Few days later, I stopped by the branch and asked teller if he could waive the fees and he was willing to help me out. Their service takes too long. Then they charged me the commision from the checking account that I paid for the membership. Don't use this app and just ask the teller in person. Recoup does nothing for you.

The points add up easily, but you need a badge to cash out. It's extremely hard to get a badge even if you complete offers! I have completed 3 offers and never received the badge, so I can't cash out.

Nice. Very easy to use.

Very slow. It only allows you to do video reviews not written. It is very slow. I have to close out the app every minute because it freezes. I hate this app. Don't waste your time.

Sticky app, freezes up when trying to file a claim, etc. I noticed my points fluctuate between 5 points, even when not in use or earning points in the app. Please fix glitches. Doesn't make me feel comfortable putting in sensitive info, when app does not work properly.

Do not use. I signed up and paid small .99 fee to try to get overdraft fees refunded. When you sign up you check that you will not contact your bank. The app was "working" for 17 days with no updates. My wife and I had a issue with our bank that was going fee crazy. Not by malicious intent or knowing the app. My wife contacted our bank. They thankfully refunded 2 fees totaling about $75. Recoup then charged me $20 saying they did this. When I asked why they told me I broke their terms.

Don't use recoup. Works, kinda, but not the way they say it does. I added three accounts when I joined.i had to pay some $12 hidden fee to file a claim. Then, when I got 10% of the fee refund for one single account, tbey randomly debited diff account for their "25%" fee. Fyi their "25%" isn't taken out of the refund like they say, instead they charge a diff account the fee and caused an an overdraft. Still waiting for the other two accounts. It been 2 months now. Scam

Overall I like this app I think it has a lot of potential. I do have one problem which is that when taking pictures of receipts the camera refuses to focus and the quality is so poor it cannot pick up the necessary criteria needed to make it a valid receipt photo.

Doesn't work as intended. I was also charged 2X for an e-z claim. The button returns the very next day so it can trick you into paying again. Also customer service ai is non-existent so you cannot contact anyone regarding any issues. Fix the bug and I'll fix this review.

I DO NOT LIKE THIS APP ONE LITTLE BIT. It requested beaucoup amounts of personal financial information from me stating that it was going to return bank fees and other ill gotten fees by my financial institutes. But I've yet to see any redeeming results. I feel they just obtained all my info & prob selling it or using it to their benefit and not mine in some manner. And it's hard to disconnect your stuff once you've given it to them. So, I suggest that you don't!

App is glitchy. The app keeps asking whether I like it or not. It then requests a review. Over and over, the popup comes up every few seconds. While they were able to get fees back from my credit union, apparently Chase Bank is a different story as the bank sent me a letter about unauthorized 3rd party contacting them. When I read Recoup's faq on this, they seem to tell you that it's now your responsibility to negotiate with the bank. Why am I paying 25% then? Recoup needs better service.

Added my bank, waited a month, they sent same auto generated message everyday saying basically nothing except we are still working on it. Nothing happened and i have a stupid amount of recent overdraft fees.. Just to cancel my membership they made me agree that they can charge fees for this and that. They won't be getting any money from me you can count on it. I feel like its just a scam and I did initially but I took one for the team so stay away people

I used this app to attempt to get any of multiple OD fees back or partially refunded. However, after 30 days of daily emails promising results, they didn't deliver. Not only did Recoup produce zero refunds, my bank actually sent me a letter saying that there was suspicious activity attempting to retrieve info from my account. After that 30-day period, I simply called my bank directly and they refunded over $120 in overdraft charges. Don't bother wasting your time with this app.

I honestly would never have thought to ask any of my banks or stores to give me a refund in the context this app does (like just for being a loyal customer I want $70 back, etc...). I am very surprised that it works. I recommend giving it a shot. Kinda shady that they want $4 up front and keep it even if you dont get anything, but again I wouldnt have any of the money if they hadnt filed the requests cuz I wouldn't have done it myself.
