Works fine on my smartphone and I recovered the one photo I really needed, BUT I also would like to install it on the laptop, but it apparently cannot do it, because it only sees the smartphone. That is a real loss.

Easy and straightforward app to use. Yes it Recover my photos plus some from 2015 the very first time I tried the app.
I just deleted some pictures and it can't find them. It can find old ones though.
Ok, the app restore my deleted picture, but not with its original size and resolution. So it's arguable how useful is it

Tries to "recover" photos still in your gallery. Wastes time making you scroll through photos you already have, and possibly creates duplicates? I didn't test that part, but it's not the reason for the lower rating. The biggest issue is the giant waste of time and scares you into thinking you lost even more than you actually did.
