I originally found this to be a great app. Simple interface, and was easy to program with multiple daily reminders for medications and the like. However, after only a week of use, it has now removed the repeating reminders, unless I upgrade to the pro (paid) version. There was a pop up on just one alert before the alerts were turned off with no option to start them up again. The app description gave no indication that it is truly a free trial, not a more typical free version (with less options).
I'm using it as a repeat interval timer. The wide range of options is really outstanding. It's one of the most complete repeat alarms over the store. User interface is very good displaying information, but is not friendly to find each functionality. Eg. dismissing the alarm is weird. That's the only reason I wouldn't go directly to BUY the pro version. UI could be easily improved with small modifications like a + (plus) on the clock at the bottom right corner. Nobody wants to see a tutorial video to use a reminder app. I didn't found invasive Ads and given the ample feature set... that makes this app my first choice.
once installed could never get it to open More detail as per your request.....When I go to open/launch your app I get the following message: "Unfortunately, Recurring task reminder FREE has stopped." I am provided with the option to "report" or "ok". There is no way out or around this. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still the same problem. Hope this is helpful in some way.
Trying this free version out to see if the paid one is for me and early impressions are good but I've noticed the following: when my device is in dark mode several help pop-ups are white on white. This app starts you out with access to many pro-level features it slowly strips away, which is great for dipping your toes into whether or not you want pro but may not bode well for long term use of the free app. Ads are usually not intrusive.
(Almost) exactly what I was looking for. Only wish the chime feature was part of the free version. Not a big deal. I just use the most subtle alarm available and set it to stop after 15 seconds if "unattended." I use it to remind me to take a couple of sips of water every 15 minutes throughout the day, which is a much better way to stay hydrated than drinking whole glasses at a time. I end up drinking about a gallon per day without ever drinking more than a few ounces at a time.
This application has a host of functionalities that match the complex needs of an interval scheduler. The abilities of this broad array of functionalities allow for more effective usage that is not found in any other interval sched app. I have tested virtually every other interval app scheduler, and have not found any other app that comes close to the flexibility that this one does. My only suggestion is that by sorting the alarms into a one line per entry report would be more useful than now
EDIT: DOESN'T WORK NOW :( Tried all solutions, but it fails to pop up/alarm)vibrate.. IT WAS One of the best Reminder app with 1 min recurring intervals. This makes easy to complete the tasks in timely manner. Good alarm interface which makes sure you complete it or snooze it but at any cost it cannot be ignored. Thumbs DOWN 👎
Uninspiring UI, but otherwise looks promising. Slightly glitchy but I think I could work with that... Tooltips everywhere and good explanations so there's no excuse for getting phone settings wrong etc. But I'm not sure why the multiple alarm I set to trial the app shows "Cat - multiple alarm": why not the text I input when I set it up? If this can't be fixed the app's no use to me, obviously. (Also for the time announcement the languages are in totally random order, need to be alphabetical!)
Excellent . I am a retired person and need to take medication when I wake up and set a reminder to do that ... Up to now I never found one that works . You thought of everything ... I really like how you can dismiss all future alarms as an option. I read what the pro version does but I do not need it. If you want me to pay for the basic version I will gladly contribute. Just a wish list or it may be able to do this already : To have the alarm only appear on screen with no sound.Thank-you
I started out quite impressed. I just wanted an hourly reminder during week days during work hours for a radio contest. Within a few days it stopped allowing the reminder unless you upgrade to the pro version without any prior warning. I think I will move on for now and see what other options are out there.
The options for recurring reminders are the best I've seen. But the backups don't appear to work. Press the Backup button but nothing happens. Got great response from developer. Purchased the professional version. Highly recommended.
The application is great but I wish there was an option in the setting to choose the alarm to be a small pop up. The alarms are full page and too intrusive snatching you away from any app you were using even when you dismiss it you go back to the alarm homepage rather than back to the app you were in.
Compared to other similar applications I have been using hitherto, this is the best application. I loved it very much. Only one disadvantage I felt is that when I delete an expired reminder, this get reset. Please do something to reverse this. Regards
Only used for a week, but so far love it. Keeps multiple alarms for each day in succession which is what I needed. Only fault I can see is the alarms sound doesn't turn on occasionally. Otherwise wonderful.
I gave it a test and will give it a try but the alarm is annoying and I want to be able to choose my own alarm sounds and this will determine whether or not if I'll be uninstalling it as to whether or not and update will be performed so that I can choose my own alarm. "Update" It's been about an hour now and the alarm went off and it turns out to be a lullaby, are you kidding me?? I'm uninstalling until I can program my own alarms or have Text-to-Speech as an alarm, one or both.
Works reliably and cones with great functionality. Only improvement I can think of is adding function that allows user to search for music title when choosing title for alarm. Well done and congrats.
Does exactly what I wanted. Would be much improved with the option of being able to change the chime/sound as I sometimes struggle to hear the default one.
Fails to display off screen during alarm. Alarm was going off. By mistake I hit back button. Dropped me back to main screen then I could not get back in to snooze or switch off reminder as it thought it was snoozed. Had to reboot phone.
Excellent app .I bought the pro version right away . I really enjoying how it gets me to get my act together and organized. Whish list The alarm to be louder for hard of hearing (ie. loud alarm clock app ... police siren)
Great app.......Maybe the guys from google calendar should look at how the reminders part of their calendar apk should work. !! One little glitch it didn't adjust for daylight saving time
Misleading description: free version speaks nothing. No speak settings. I needed to test if app worked, previous awesome apps Shouter and TimeTune were stopped by Android's latest updates. Needed to try before I buy.. not allowed. So... UNINSTALLED. WILL PURCHASE ELSEWHERE. (Aug. 31, 2020)
I am recovering from covid, and have a complex medication schedule. This allows me to set reminders for my meds so I don't miss anything - it's great!
when i put my phone off at night and powered it on again in the morning it did not started working automatically there was no reminding in the morning so its a useless app uninstalling it .
Works great. Really like how you can customise the repeat frequency of alarms.
It's an ok timer and works. However, it should be clearly stated that this is just a trial and after a week, you can't use it anymore unless you purchase it.
No AM/PM. Alarms can't be paused while sleeping. Over sensitive to not auto-starting. Ouch!
I guess I'll give it another try since I can change the alarm sounds however, I need to be hear the text messages I'm writing on the notes so I can hear the text-to-speech engine read the messages when the alarm goes off and it would be nice to hear the text to speech message repeat over and over again by itself or to hear the alarm after it reads the text-to-speech message so that the message is read, the alarm sounds the message is read again and the alarm sounds again until turned off.
Pretty good. Very irritating that I am asked to rate the app every single time I get a reminder.
Reminds me to keep on task and I really appreciate that I can set the volume of the chime. :D
I loved this app. Did everything I needed. Recurring Reminders, different tones, etc. However, the last few days when a reminder sounds, it no longer opens up on my phone. Only a small thing pops up which doesn't tell me what the reminder is about. It also doesn't allow me to dismiss it only snooze it. My other complaint is how it looks screen that shows all the reminders you have looks weird and not easy to read. UPDATE:. My problems were fixed quickly. I love the app!!
