Recycle Coach

This app used to work great as a garbage collection reminder. However, after upgrading my phone I re-downloaded the app and attempted to set up reminders; I can select my city but no street information will populate. Contacted customer service via email as they suggest and received no response. Disappointing. Update: specifically noted in original review that I had contacted customer service and received no response. See response from developer. 🤣

Great app that keeps me on top of my waste queendom! The reminders are great bc who remembers which week it is for recycling? And the notifications for weekly trash & yard waste pickup, as well as special drop offs, is very helpful. On the calendar, I can look up when Junk Day (aka bulk set out) is to prepare ahead of time.

Search only worked once then never again. App freezes at times. Can generally be very slow to respond, even simply clicking on a calendar day. Cluttered with unnecessary things. Throws survey type questions at you instead of providing the information.

There is something very wrong with the resolution of this app. I cannot see the entire bottom bar, nor the calendar itself. Worked on my s9, not on a 21fe. Works well otherwise when I can actually see things.

Don't disguise a quiz as a survey. A survey's job is to collect information, not to persuade. Call a quiz a quiz. It isn't something you "want to know" if a response is "oops, wrong answer". It comes across as super condescending because the user expects a true question where you're asking about something you don't know, not a quiz to show that they're wrong and needs to be corrected.

I can never remember which week is recycling and when brush and bulky is happening. This app does it all with reminders and I don't have to rely on my memory anymore. It is a must have!

Previously: useful but crashes. Current: Fixed! No more crashes, and now I tell all my neighbors about it so they don't miss bimonthly recycling.

I love the weekly reminders for garbage and the every other weekly reminder for recycle as I do tend to forget to put my trash and recycle out. Also, the app is very informative about other recycling. I'm glad I got the app.

Absolute garbage for waste sorting. Residents used to get a detailed book containing everything one could think of having to sort. Now they are forced to use this useless piece of "waste" app where a large number of items needing to be sorted don't exist. If this app is to be useful to the average resident, it should be backed up by a database containing every possible individual item one might be required to sort. Unfortunately, there is no option to give it zero stars.

It keeps me informed of any changes to trash and recycle pickups without having to log in to the county site. Also it's a great reminder to put it out.

so easy and convenient to use the app! BUT I do wish they'd bring back the reminder to schedule branch pickup the week before.

My wife and I have just moved to the area and found your tash regulations at bet confusing. The Recycle Coach app has been very helpful in knowing how and when trash pickup is done in Monore Co. Two thumbs up!

Was nice to have reminders at my previous address but I've since moved and can't set up my new address. I'd use the app again if it was working properly.

This app is super helpful when I can't remember which day our recycling gets picked up. You can also look up various items to find out if they are recyclable and if not, how to dispose of them.

It used to be good but now It is crashing ☹️ whenever I try to open it app closes automatically. Not able to see the schedule for recycle

It used to be better in the past. It used to show more than two weeks at a time, and when spring and fall clean up are slated to be happen. I hope these things will return.

So far I was able to download this app. How ever, it does not tell me where to set up an account. It tells me to log in. Can't unless I can set up an account. Not a good start.

It's helpful, reliable & easy to use. I rely on it to keep my recycle days straight.

My municipality was stage 2 but now it changed to stage 1 and I don't have access to the calendar or anything else. What happened?

Does not tell me when brush will be picked up. I had no issues last year 2021.Hopefully this will be fixed. I think this app can be improved. I do like that you can take quiz on what can be thrown in trash or recycle this actually helps me to learn what's considered recycled or trash.

Used to be a great calender for reminder of which pickup was scheduled. Now it only asks recycling questions and no more

this app has the wrong info for my address and no matter how many times I complain, corrections are not made.

amazing. helps me know what to recycle and how to prepare also gives me notifications when I got days to put out certain cans. love it

Goos tool to remind of the garbage/recycling collection day. Can be further developed to report collection day mistakes or behavior from the collection team (like throwing cans all around)

This is an excellent source of information for our neighborhood pickup schedule. Everyone in Tucson would benefit by checking it out. Doesn't always send you an email, but it's always there.
