Love the podcast, hate the app. The app constantly pauses itself and I constantly have to keep clicking play and it doesn't matter what privileges I give it. I wish there was a new app for red eye radio
To say the app is unreliable is as understatement. The last update added a video ad that comes on when you open the app. An audio ad is understandable on a radio app but having to deal with a video ad seems a little bass ackwards when trying to hit one icon while in motion.
Only 2 stars because I like the show, 0 stars for the app The ads are horrible, 10 or more minutes of ads, and sometimes the ads repeat over and over, and the show will finally come on then stop you hit play and the ads start all-over.
10/29/20 Nine days since update and still wont work. Will not load.privacy and locks up. Keeps buffering and wont shutdown without removal or phone reatart. I relied on the app and now it's useless. Since August update and privacy policy change, it freezes trying to load said policies. Repeatdly uninstalled/reinstalled and still no joy. It has been a month, when is this going to get fixed?
The app has improved with the latest version, however the FFWD and RWND buttons do not work. If these were to fixed I'd give it a 5 star rating! EDIT: As of March 1st 2021 the podcast portion of the app does not work at all. Uninstalling.
Great app if you enjoy watcbing a little red circle continually spinning at the bottom of your screen every time you select a podcast. Other than that this useless app seems to do... well... absolutely nothing.
This app is better than the last version with one exception, I cannot fast forward a pod cast With my Samsung S10 unless I download it and even then it sometimes doesn't work. It gets very frustrating
Love the podcast but I have to quit abd restart the app if i pause the radio for very lung. I did discover if i play with the ff and rw buttons I can sometines resume radio play. Thanks team for also, addressing other issues. Keep rockkng and roll ing, truckers!!!
I am deleting this app, I had to delete WBAP app for the same reason, itcuts off every 15 minutes, very irritating, I love the shows and will miss them but I'm done until it's fixed, I have others like this app and it doesn't so this cutting off.
Been listening for 22 minutes now and it is nothing but commercials. The show STILL HAS NOT STARTED. 23 MINUTES NOW! I love the show but this app is garbage. OH MY GOD. 24 MINUTES NOW. playing local traffic. Now weather. This is just repeating...now local news. I give up. 27 minutes now without one second of the RER show.
APP locks up since trying to review new policies. Can't access radio programs. Have uninstalled & reinstalled a few times, still no success. Worked well until pop up to review and accept policies.
Have always loved red eye radio never had a problem with the app but now it keeps stopping even though I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it on my phone multiple times. This has never happened before perhaps a issue with the most recent update?
Fwd/backward and slider controls do not function. if app is closed, podcasts restarts at beginning and cannot be advanced. Poor navigational design.
The 700 page privacy policy you have to accept is highly suspect! Also states other 3rd party's have access to all your info and have their own privacy policies. LOL of course no one is reading that or looking into hlthise other entities! Disgusting.
I love the show but the app keeps crashing every a few minutes and looses your place on the show. I wish they will come up with a better app or update
Show is great, but app stinks. If you pause and go back, it resets and starts over and you can't fast forward or use slide.
Worked great till privacy update now app freezes and crashes after hit continue doesnt make it to where you can agree to new terms app becomes unresponsive then error message appears.
Love show, hate the app. It looses its spot and I can't advance it back to where I left off. Fast forward doesn't work.
Had this app working great until they updated terms ... Haven't been able to use since (Like 1.5 months) ... Don't the developers ever test their own apps ??!! ... Would have given zero stars if possible.
When it works, it's great! Often goes "off the air" and I miss a lot of the show! Not happy!!!! Not at all!!!!
Had to give one star to review. Terrible app. Same issues as other reviews. Finally gave up uninstalled and found the podcast on tune in.
Can't fast forward in the app and must start at the beginning everytime. It used to work until this update.
This app is trash. Audio constantly stops for no reason, can't be paused via Bluetooth controls (you have to open the app and manually pause/play from the screen, and if you pause for more than a few minutes, the app loses its place and starts the stream back from the beginning. Device is a Galaxy J7.
