Local news is much appreciated. However I have a glitch that requires that I log in every day. Very frustrating. Reps have said they will have IT fix it. 6 weeks, no luck.
App very frustrating - won't keep me signed in and keeps trying to force me to resubscribe. Not impressed and canceling my subscription.
Very few stories even available to read. If this newspaper was in print it would be 4 pages total
Like many others, I like the content and layout but I am annoyed that I have to log back in every day. Ugh!

Frustrating, this publication doesn't represent their constituents very well and doesn't present opposing views. Basically propaganda.
Works well notified me quickly of new stories. Great to keep me informed about my hometown.

Horrible ive subscribed now 4 months and same headline titled in top ones for 2months if not more

Difficult to navigate,mostly yesterday's news. A waste of money.
I am glad I have this app
Since the upgrade I've lost all my saved articles and I'm unable to make any comments as I don't see a comments section at the end of each article. On the positive side, I'm able to read five different newspapers from the USA Today network of papers.
Format is hard to follow. All the ads injected between real news headlines are disruptive and hard to follow. I've almost clicked on what I thought were news stories,but were actually ads. I liked the old format so much better. Now I can't specify state,national,or world news either.
I live in Houston Mo, but will be moving to Redding after I get married. I wanted to find out what was happening there. I love it. Thank you. God bless.
Works perfectly! New app from RS and USA Today is smooth and easy to navigate.
Was unable to load the new app to my Android phone because it's not available from the Google Play store. The old app just takes me to a page that says "saved stories".
Was able to load new app on iPad but only old one comes up in Google play for my phone.
Just takes me to "saved stories" but there is no way to navigate out. No wonder why the RS is struggling, cant put out a decent paper, cant afford to make a functional app, time to hang it up RS.
It's stupid how you have to pay for a subscription
Such as "collision blocking southbound lanes of" Then clicking takes you to the "Happening Now" page, which doesn't have the info yet...this happens frequently!
Takes a while to load. Alerts don't bring you to the breaking news story.
Can't read an article without a box popping up and requesting I subscribe. Which I already do subscribe to the Record Searchlight. Very frustrating, no one is going to want to read the paper online with that constantly happening.
