The update shortly before 2022 is terrible. You can no longer use your fingerprint to log on which was incredibly convenient. It also crashes when I try to log in with my username and password. After a few tries it finally works. My password was typed correctly every time. This never happened before. The app worked perfectly fine and I don't know why they felt they needed to update something that wasn't broken.

Times out constantly. Periodically stops allowing you to log in using fingerprint, forces to use password, then gives error message about not being able to connect. Remote deposit constantly glitches and doesn't recognize checks. Displays error message "please try again later" and continues to time out. All of this wouldn't be such a big deal if it didn't seem to happen every few weeks.

The app is great for a quick check on my account balances... other than that, it's useless. Any other option i choose to use comes up with an "error/not available at this time" message. I absolutely love RFCU so this isn't a deal breaker for me but as someone who doesn't drive & tries to do everything from home, it'd be so much better if the extra features would actually work

Is a fairly good app, pretty much everything you need is there. My only problem with it and therefore the reason for only 4 stars, is that the system seems to be down ALOT. Seems like most of the time when I'm really needing to check my account for something it will come up with a system unavailable right now or something to that effect. Wouldn't be bad, and would even be to be expected, except that it happens frequently....VERY annoying !!

great app, easy to use runs smooth 90% of the time, glitches a lil every now and then. I don't like that I can't schedule monthly transfers to other members accounts, or I just can't figure out how, and if so then it needs to be made more user-friendly and that aspect. an update would be nice, 5 stars if bugs fixed and scheduling transfers added

So I keep getting notifications from them to review the app and I always ignore it. So after a frustrating day with it, here it goes. When it's actually working, it's pretty handy. The problem is that you have to cross your fingers that it's actually working. There is no warning or heads up. It's just "We are experiencing technical difficulties". I get it... it happens. But for an entire day and no solution or further explanation? I think communication is a huge flaw with both the bank and app.

Perfect for checking my account & making transfers! I would give 5 stars, but the fingerprint login doesn't always work. sometimes my fingerprint is recognized & sometimes its not. I think the problem is when the app first scans your fingerprint, it only scans one image. If the app scanned multiple images from different finger positions this problem probably wouldn't happen.

Update 9/10/21: The fingerprint issue has gotten better. However, I can't deposit a check because it always says the corners are torn or folded and they are in perfect condition. fingerprint option keeps shutting off. Each time I go to log in,I have to use password. Even though I turn the fingerprint option on, it is turned off when I go into settings. I have uninstalled and reinstalled already. My other apps have no issue with fingerprint. The fingerprints were working until the latest update.

The app is very handy, except for depositing checks. Nine times out of ten when I try to deposit a check, it kicks me off the app right after I take the first picture of the check. Sometimes it says "due to inactivity" (even though I was just typing amounts and taking the picture). Other times, it just kicks me off. I have to try over and over before it finally does it. If that issue were fixed, I'd give it five stars.

I normally have loved this app, but really really dislike the new UI visual showing transactions in the account. I much prefer the old way that broke down by date with a date heading, instead of just a running list with the date next to it. This UI visually also makes it less obvious what transactions are still pending. Bring back the old UI!!

It is nice to be able to bank mobilly but the app has so many issues. Quite a bit of the time it takes forever to load and log me in, it switched the fingerprint login setting to off without my knowledge, and it takes me a million tries before I'm capable of depositing my checks because of how shaky the camera is. Overall not horrible, but it is irritating.

My attempt to use the mobile deposit feature is mediocre at best. The feature throws an error message, but doesn't populate any user interaction options. Therefore you cannot clear the message and have to force close the app and login again only to repeat the experience over and over. The application works fine otherwise.

Crashes constantly/logs you out if you try to do a remote deposit. It's not because of lack of activity. I'll literally be in the middle of taking a picture of a check and it'll pop itself back out to the log in page. It takes about 5-20 tries before it'll actually stay logged in long enough to deposit anything. Super frustrating!

Update - Recent issues: App consistently logs me out and forgets all information. Usually not a big deal - just log back in. Except the last 3 times I've attempted to login I've had horrible issues with the "call me" to confirm login. The text or email a code does not work through the app either. I've had to rely only on the website to check balances recently. The app is really bad. Plan on dropping Redstone for everyday debit card use. Redstone has good rates for a savings account though.

This app is poorly written. It often fails to log you in, citing some "application error." Yes, I've done the troubleshooting. It has really let me down a lot lately. It flashes your last screen before reauth too. Poor security. The website is no better. It depends on cross-site cookies for auth, so most browsers don't work properly anymore, and those that do can't do simple things like transfers. Rfcu is technologically way behind the times. I'm about done trying to rely on their services.

Worst app/credit union I have ever dealt with. It's almost impossible to make a payment the over the phone option forces you to type out your banking information so I can't switch apps to get/add the bank. This stupid app is glitchy and doesn't let you add another bank account to pay from. It will let you link them but before it finalized it says "continue" "redirecting" then glitches back to continue on an endless cycle. I had to use my desktop to pay the bill which was late. Payed and done.

This app was awesome on my Pixel 2, but I got the 6 and there's many times the app will not even load and I end up having to use the desktop site. If the trouble loading and crashing is fixed the way it ran on my 2, I'd love to give it 5⭐. But until then, if the app is unusable, it deserves its 1⭐

Used the app for a deposit. Very picky about the pictures of the check. Took multiple retakes. But it still beats waiting in line at the drive thru. Update: Either the app is better or my hand is steadier but, either way, the process is much easier. Love it!

Normally this is a fantastic app, however with the latest update I have been unable to use the feature to deposit mobilly. The camera will not capture the image and my battery drained from 80% down to 5 % almost immediately while i was fighting with it. I am sure that once this issue is resolved this app will be fantastic

Other than checking your balance, this app does nothing really. Always has some error. But you can mobile deposit and pay your balances at least. Update: Had to completely uninstallthe app as it stopped allowing me access for no reason. Reinstall, reset password and still can't access my account. This app has been trash for a long time now and it just keeps getting worse, there shouldn't be this many problems with a banking app.

The recent update has been a huge step back. On Galaxy S22 ultra, it takes forever to login, IF it lets you login. There's also no longer an option when transferring funds to add a memo/note.

It is pretty much your standard bank or credit union type of app. It works, but can be temperamental at times. I do like the Wear OS integration and find that a nice touch, but i do wish i received confirmation notifications for each transaction at the time it takes place.

Extremely easy to use, and it does all the things I need it to do. I can deposit checks, I can check my account balance, I can pay my bills, very quickly and easily. Beyond that, I can also connect up my other accounts and get all sorts of graphs and charts and analysis about my investments and other accounts all in one place. It's a very well designed user interface and I highly recommend the app.

Too lighting sensitive - had to lower my lights to make the algorithm happy... auto "image positioning" was always lagging, this was my first time, of course, but I have image acquisition experiences. Happy enough though to continue usage of this app. Took about 10 minutes for both images.
