Great concept, but still kind of buggy. I created a simple RS-NOR latch and the app wouldn't update a signal in a timely manner like it would in minecraft. Definitely still needs some work, but it's a great concept. Better UI design would solve most of the complaints about the lack of a tutorial.
When a torch on the side of a block was trying to switch from on to off due to an in coming on signal on that same block it would always pause in the off state allowing the rest of the circuit to catch up. I was unable to make even a simple clock signal with one torch and a repeater, even increasing the switching delay didn't fix the problem. Should have properly working properties to deserve a better rating.
Add in a normal block, stair, slab, obsidian. This will allow for some more accurate machine design testing. As alot of machines push power through normal blocks, use obsidian to stop piston push, and more. Id 5star if you added more stuff to make it more accurate. And 3b version would be great too.
The interface of the Redstone isn't completely right, and some things don't work like they should, and you need to have other Redstone devices and stuff like that, maybe a side view option as well is needed, and you should maybe add a few more regular blocks... although you can improve the app, and haven't updated since 2014, its really cool, because while I'm playing Minecraft on my Xbox one, I can see if what I'm planning will work or not before doing it... So kudos for making something like this...
1)Hoppers slimeblocks esc need adding 2)make it 3d cos the kos complexthing i can do on it is a pin pad door lock 3)sort out any gliches then it would be pdrfect
This app was worth it 100%. My son uses this constantly because of the Minecraft fix. He has all of the parts he needs to build his Jeb door and other circuits. The only thing he wants is hoppers and droppers and chests.
It needs some work with bug glitches and the lack of a tutorial, but it is a great companion app to Minecraft and I see myself using this whenever I don't have access to the game. Patch the annoying bugs and this gets 5 stars.
Not just a application. I also learned how to use comparators and repeaters. Can you add slime block, rails, detector rails and powered rail
A bug, if you place a Redstone dust or torch or repeater above level 1, and then delete it, it will generate a block of wood underneath it. Please make it so components can be saved, I built some components and want to copy and paste them to save time.
Once I worked out how to use it. I thought it was pretty well done. Not perfect but a good app.
Good but not good enough need some repeaters, daylight sensors, and everything in minecraft about red stones to make it good and also make a rotate button to see sides of your work Hope you make those updates :)
Simple redstone inventions which are on the ground are easy to make, but when i need to go upper and to place blocks over blocks or redstone over blocks, my mind gets confused! And i have the impression that the blocks which were kinda 2 levels down moved by itself.. ITS CONFUSING!!!
It can not handle more than a basic circut, my pc has trouble running my flat world and the server i play on and it does not include any of the newer redstone items like hoppers, daylight sensors, observer blocks...and all kinds of other things, also you cant test clocks in this app, you cant test any kind of circuitry, like a repeater into a block will power that block, not in this app, it doesnt follow in game redstone sciences at all....horrible horrible app
Great but it does not let me open my saved files. Also it needs a guide to get you started.
Very simple and easy to use. This app is an invaluable tool for circuit planning, allowing users to create runnable schematics for their Redstone machines.
You can't even see what your Redstone creation does after you finish it. It has a good concept, but need to fixc that
You should incorporate the one tick let go that sticky pistons do, where if only given one tick it will only grab or only push the block.
OK so I can't save or open. When I open it stopped working. Please fix. Otherwise it's good
I think it's a super redstone supporter because think that I want to build a big redstone construction but I don't exactly know if the trick work in this confusion i can test the mechanism in this app thanks
You can't delete every thang at once >:-( plz fix that plz.by the way it freezes every once in a while or should I say 10 SECONDS
Sry but slimeblock have been added to minecraft now. I like the app but it would be better if it was on date with minecraft
Very glichy especially when you are resizing the board or using a large one. You should make it easier to navigate.
Generally good idea but its missing a lot of components and there's no toggle for repeater ticks. Or competitor modes.
Doesnt even have the correct redstone properties. I have a fully working circuit on the computer but it doesnt work on this. When a torch is placed on a wall, it powers blocks in front of it and to the side of it which is not supposed to happen.
Its a good and useful app, does what the description says. IMO it could use some features, such as something like help/FAQ, or maybe a "how to,.or tutorial." Would like to see more options, like rails, "powered, detector, regular rails, so one could build and test a switching rail system." But other than those suggestions it is a good and useful app.
Add tripwires, hoppers, and everything else in Minecraft that can be used in some or any way with Redstone (whatsoever.), please.
It takes some thinking, but people can figure the interface out with some simple tinkering around. It isn't the best imaginable interface, but it works. Alas, my usage of this app stopped when I reached a fundamental bug: powered blocks don't transmit signals to redstone above or below them. (At least with comparators, in my case.) Also, though the 15-block distance limit for a full-power signal is there, there is no visual indication of signal strength along a wire. I'd love to see these bugs fixed.
