Reflect - Christian Mindfulness

App includes Christian meditations. It has enough content to get started in different Christian meditations, although hopefully more content gets added. I have heard a good book to read on Christian meditation is called "Spiritual Exercises" by St. Ignatius. I haven't read that book as of now, but several different meditation sources treat the book as something great. As for this app, I think it provides a good starting point.

I really like this app, especially that I can put the bird song on loop after the guided meditation finishes and it plays all night. Has really helped winding my mind down and focusing on God as I drift off to sleep. I have suffered from insomnia and this is really helping. Thank you

I stumbled across this app and I thank God I did. To pick calming music and to have various options to meditate/move closer into God's presence is awesome. No adverts is also a blessing. Thank you to all those who have helped to create this experience. I shall never be the same again.

I really like the simplicity of this app. I've tried a couple of other lectio divina apps, but have often found that the readers try to make too much drama of the text or the reflections. This is really gentle and clean, w/clear voices that get out of the way, to let the text speak for itself. I find this makes it easier for me to hear God. There are also a few more creative ways of reading/engaging with scripture offered here, along with the choice of music, sounds or silence to accompany you.

Beautifully Simple Meditations on God. I wanted something to help me focus, avoid distraction, and give me some guidance on how to start meditating on the Bible. This app is perfect. It's very simple, but the readers are calming and soothing, the directions are clear and uncomplicated, and the meditations are straightforward. The options for Bible verses are great, also the guided prayer topics. Perfect for bedtime, as it helps me focus on God instead of my worries. Couldn't recommend it more!

It's free and it's really amazing !! I listen to it every morning starting my day out with God. The only thing would be that it has some new ones from time to time (but it's free!! I know I know ). I love it. Thank you !!! ❤

I love the variety and quality of the practices. My problem is that when doing something, like a guided meditation, it goes on pause when the screen shuts off. Not sure how to fix this, and haven't had the problem with other apps.

A truly wonderful app. Having quite the busy schedule, I find it increasingly difficult to find the time for contemplative prayer. Now, I have made this one of the only icons on my home screen as a reminder to make time! The meditations themselves are fantastic, and customisable to an extensive degree. The optional music is also varied and non-intrusive, allowing the mind to settle and take in the scripture and instructions. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for this app, I especially enjoy the imaginative contemplation and play the music along with it. I would like it if there was an extended contemplation, maybe 20 minutes or more, or maybe something for helping sleep as this is when I mostly listen, just before falling asleep. It would be nice if the music could continue for another 60 seconds as the they do finish abruptly or the option to automatically replay.

This is one of my favorite apps. When life becomes overwhelming, Reflect reminds me the Lord Jesus is never far away. Excellent Bible passages for meditation and the ability to choose the background music really sets the mood. Plus, I love being able to download meditations. I hope there are more passages to come soon, and it would be nice to be able to auto-play the next meditation in the category. The ability to "favorite" meditations would be helpful also. This is a great app - a wonderful contemplative way to start the day with peace and focus. Each section is carefully designed to nourish the whole person. This provides a nice service and I'm grateful to have found it! Especially in such uneasy days! The only reason I subtracted a star is because the optional music/sounds loop has a stop/start silence when it loops that's distracting during the meditation. Otherwise, it's great!

Reflect is a really good biblical meditation app. I am a fan of imagative contemplation. However, my only complaint (and the biggest issue I have) would be the overall design of the app. The UI of the app just looks too antiquainted; I feel there's so much potential, though. Do a redesign of the app to make it look more modern and smooth. But other than that, I like it!

Really well done! I downloaded and tried so many different prayer meditation apps. This is by far the best for what I was looking for! Love the music choices, the fact that the music continues after the final guidance, the ability to control the meditation time during lectio, (I do wish we could increase the silent space during some of the Bible meditations,Etc) Really, it's just great. Very helpful part of my spiritual growth.

I love this app! It allows me to meditate on the Word of God...not just calming practices like breathing techniques and relaxation methods. I really like the ability to add background music and adjust levels to the audio. There are a ton of great passages from the Bible that he reads and lots of time for reflection....the perfect amount, actually. Keep up the great work! I would love to see more scripture verses added.

I love this app. It's so great to have a Christian based mindfulness app. This is helping me to engage the Lord in new ways! I only give four stars because the music choice is very poor. I would love it if you would give us the option of nature sounds: forest noises, waves, etc. Edit: new background music has arrived. Thanks so much for improving this app!!

Exactly what I was looking for! This is a true blend of meditation and bible verses. Unlike other Christians Meditation apps that are mostly affirmation, this app focuses on the core of meditation and the word of God. My only wish is that the music didn't just stop abruptly after the guide was over. I prefer to spend more time meditating with the music.

Exactly what I was looking for! This is a thoroughly Christian approach to mindfulness and prayer that doesn't water down either, making for a theologically sound contemplative experience that makes use of common mindfulness techniques. The lectio divina exercises are customisable and extremely useful, everything is clear and well-paced, and there are no advertisements in sight. I will gladly take that in exchange for a simple, no-frills interface. Thank you!

Excellent app, free and very well laid out. The narrators' voices are pleasant, the music and sounds lovely choices, the scriptures and subjects are well chosen, and adequate intro to meditation is provided for beginners too. The recently added Christmas meditations were great. I use it regularly. I only hope for more to be added, and would find it really useful to have some of the options for sounds to include binaural music and/or beats. It really is effective in assisting the brain with the changes meditation provides.

This app is great and I love the simplicity of it! I love the guided prayers and meditations where there's just the right amount of guidance without someone talking constantly to you like on many other Christian apps in this vein. The exercises provide creative ways to connect with God through ancient spiritual practices like lectio divina and it gives you lots of options to tailor the experience like music choice, ratio of music volume to speaker volume, and amount of silence. Highly recommend!

The interface is easy to use, his voice is relaxing and not intrusive. I like the options on Lectio Divina so I can tailor it to my needs. The app would benefit from the touch of a graphic designer as it looks basic at first glance, but the content is fantastic.I would also be grateful for some female voices in the standard meditations.That said, I'm so glad I found this app - it's been such a help to me.

I find this app helpful. The voice is easy to listen to. The guided meditations are thought provoking and have been useful in my spiritual Journey. I love the GOD centeredness. I have been using this daily and some time twice a day. Please continue to add to the meditation list. I am now repeating the current ones. They are worth the repeat. I love that it is free. I love that there are no ads . This is a ministry to believers. Please continue the good work.

My spiritual journey of contemplation has grown with the help of this App. It not only allows me to connect to God and Christ but gives me sense of serenity and peace that injects energy in a deeper way. Each section has a different purpose. My favorite is the imaginative contemplation. The voice helps you see, feel and be in the moment with Christ & tune out distractors. I totally love it! Yes! Christian medtation app! This is great but could you PLEASE ADD BACKGROUND MUSIC to the readings? That would make it more peaceful. Another suggestion: you could add the option of listening to a female voice or male voice? I've been a Christian for a long time but have had trouble with personal devotions lately. The guided-ness of the scripture meditations and prayers help me to reconnect. Everything is straight forward, well explained and easy to listen to any time of day. I'd love more passages in lectio Divino section.

I just found this app and I'm sure I will love it, but I can only get the Bible Reflections part of the app to play. Hoping the developer can help me. Android phone user.

Wonderful experience with this app! User friendly. I use it almost every morning. It integrates similiar mindfulness practices found in apps like Headspace with guided reflections on Bible passages. The guided story reflections and readings have also been powerful. Thanks so much! My wife is looking forward to the Apple version so she doesn't have to borrow my phone anymore :)

Absolutely love this app. Its given me a gentle but meaningful way to take time to be... to be and to be with God. The pace is perfect and I love being able to choose what to listen to each time and things like whether or not to have music in the background. I have recommended it to friends but some have iPhones. Any chance you are planning to launch it for iPhones?

I appreciate having a Christian meditation app. Not only has it helped in my meditation, but it prepares my heart and mind for a time of prayer or devotional. The sessions are not lengthy. You can select the background music or opt to have none. And, you can adjust the balance of music to voice. The voices are calming. Not too quiet or breathy. There is no guided breathing in the background. Other apps have that and I feel like someone or something is breathing on me. Not relaxing.
