RefME - Citations Made Easy

It worked great, until after the updates. Now, there are ads and it wants you to sign it. SMH. I finally uninstalled it.

RefMe has died, long live RefMe 😑 Previous review =>A real lifesaver. I am a first year student having to learn a new referencing method. Refme has cut out a load of potentially wasted time figuring it all out. I thought it might not do journals and articles but not only does it do them, but some of the most obscure articles I need can be found on it.

can't log in with my open athens login. the app gives me this error message: oops! Something has gone wrong. please check your internet connection and try again. I've tried both data and wifi. xiaomi mi4c please help, as i need to finish my thesis, and i find the funcionality of the app very helpful

Was working absolutely perfectly without fault and then just. . Stopped. Don't know why but I can't get it to work again so it's useless for now. Everything else in my phone is functional, only this app is giving me problems so it's just with this.

I've used this since my first assignment in year 1 of my degree and recommended it so many times, so it's an annoyance that now in my final year the app has stopped working! The web version is okay but the convenience of the app to scan books in has been lost and the noticeable increase in time taken is annoying. Opening the app just provides a loading circle that never loads! Bring the app back to what it was!!!

Two years ago this app was worked fine on my smartphone for added bibliography in my written essay in my B.A. Illustration course in my university. But now I still don't know the reason why it isn't work when scan the barcode of any books. Can someone sorted this problem out? Because if this is OK with the team I'm fear the users involved myself are going to uninstalled this app.

It's just closing all the time now, I can't do anything. Really bad, this must be fixed, it was so good! original 4/5 -This is great, however the search function is quite temperamental on my tablet - but the amount of styles and ordering, and of course the scanner, are fantastic for students and researchers (especially for those odd books you are only using briefly)

Used to be fantastic, then it was sold to another company. The whole thing is not as good and you have to start paying for it soon. Therefore I wont be using it much longer. Very dissapointed, just glad my degree is almost over!

I paid for ref plus and the bar code scanner refuses to scan codes. It's keeps say oops. I am very annoyed for having paid and no one getting back to me having emailed them to report my problem.

Was a superb app but the developers have sold out and the new app cite this for me is crap, will not allow you to login, claims there's no internet connection rich considering I've just used the internet connection to install the bloody thing. Suggest you look elsewhere for a citation app that actually works :'(

It was working excellently until one day it just failed to scan any of my books. please fix the bugs and crashes

Just started using this on my laptop and all going well. Then I started using the app. Why on earth should tapping on the citation delete it? After typing the same quote twice I've realised if I accidently tap on the citation tab it vanishes. No clear icon or warning that this action deletes the quote??? Very confused and put off from using the app.

I think it a very good app. But it keeps on stopping while in use, something should be done about it please. But kudos to the developer of the App

This app is great, used it for 2 years but now the scanning function just says oops can't read the bar code. Really annoying as the app is now useless

Practical and easy to use. Unfortunately sometimes it crashes and often manual data input doesn't work.

They're going to sell it to Chegg by Feb,28,2017, the app is going to switched to the buyers app, and its features is going to become a nightmare. It was the best citation app ever. I'm really disappointed. :(

I really like this app. It's easy to use and so convenient. I also think it is good that it allows you to scan barcodes of books and it generates the reference and citations.

The app keeps crashing when I try to do anything. I've used the desktop version before which is brilliant! So would really like the app to be as strong.

Worked fine then crashed. Had to re install it and now the scanner doesn't work. Not happy, rely on this for saving time when writing essays

This app is super convenient for my time here at college. That being said, I noticed some of the citations for Turanian or incorrect in minor ways. Beside the small snags, I am grateful to use this!

Started great, then it more than quadrupled every reference and it fails left right and centre offering you to report it every time. If this is the free it gives me no incentive to purchase it. Exasperated 😐

Makes life so much easier. Vast majority of things I've needed to reference have been available easily. Saved me hours of work

I really do not see the point of this App. It's crashes all the time and the functions for scanning, searching via ISBN or entering manually do not work!

Subscribed but it continues to tell me to update the app. Doesn't work. No response from support. Still not working. Support doesn't respond. Don't waste your money.

Few days ago it worked fine but today I was restricted from updating my reference. The name was wrongly put and the app keep asking for an update when it is up-to-date.

This app used to be amazing! I've used it religiously for 3 years for every Uni assignment... that is, until now, it doesn't scan barcodes anymore. This was an easier way for me to quickly cite books, now it's useless.

Since the latest update it can't find any scanned bar code. Very embarrassing for a tutor trying to demonstrate.

Was really useful when I was citing sources for a project~ I've been using it alot
