Cannot get an enter key to show when in search mode. Also crashes every time I tap an article. Suggest rolling back to something that works
Simple and effective. Really good.
Uninstalled it because it prevents screen time out and you have to close it manually. Otherwise ok
Works, but the spinning, flashing advertising banner at the bottom of the screen is so distracting it's not worth using.
This Tech Tabloid reminds me of News Of The World - a defunct garbage tabloid filled with cringey childish titles. It's hard to tell if they are serious about tech or are just low-level smear merchants? This became apparent after I read their take on GOP FISA memo. They hired a completely regressive and Hillary-biased liberal from SF to type up a shameful hatchet article. This was last straw. App deleted. Stay out of politics.
App is ok, but would be better if you could see the comments that readers have posted about the articles
Uninstalled because there is no offline cache.
Really only looking for a feature that would download all the articles automatically and let me read them offline, doesn't seem to have that
Worked at first, very basic... Now everything fails to load, very buggy. Uninstalled
the app is flagged as "riskware" by my phone. The app is not endorsed by the Register. I only discovered that when I clicked on the "more" link in the product description. I don't want to malign the developer but I would have preferred if the app name made it clear that it is not an official Register app.
