Regain is really helpful. I especially like the groupinars I have access to that are actually in betterhelp. I might switch my personal therapist to betterhelp cause I like the regain/betterhelp platform. Our councilor sends up worksheets which I love but I assume it depends on your personal preference. I like worksheets. The groupinars are amazing cause can interact with others typing while the presentation is on and the speaker will pull questions and answers mine sometimes! Extra support. 🙂
My rating may be biased because of our wonderful therapist but I've found the platform and app super useful. Wish there was a ln option for 3-way live sessions in case we can't be in the same room at the time. Also could use a sort of Instagram view and search for the journal since finding previous note by calendar only is kind of annoying.
Has been great. I love all the options for communicating with the therapist. The ease of switching therapist, if not well matched, is very simple. Would definitely recommend this option to busy people who want "outside the box" therapy options.
Expensive, but many worthwhile things are! Streamlined the process of finding a therapist which is helpful to save time. I like having all communication in one place.
Messages disappearing instead of being sent (not all, but one is enough to get pissed when you actually struggling with something else already), not clear how to use certain functions, not possible to filter detailed among the therapists, useless costumer support.
I honestly don't feel right giving 2 stars because I never got to even experience the service to award it any credit, but for that same reason, 1 star doesn't feel fair either. Honestly, the entire service seems like a really convenient and effective program, but they require the full payment of 4 weeks upfront and there's no trial or sample session that you can check out before dropping the full amount. They do offer a discounted price, but it's still $150 and that's a lot to ask for a gamble!
It is good to get insight, especially from people who have studied the human mind and understand human conflict and how it arises. Definitely recommend to anyone who is having difficulties with coordinating with each other and having trouble understanding each other.
I have now been using the app for almost 1 month, and so far very helpful. Many things available to help you in your situation whatever that is. Things like groupinars(spelling maybe wrong). Which are live videos with the counselor or teacher that discuss nearly every topic. Topics and areas that we all struggle in, and by watching these videos I know you to can hear and learn very useful tools, and ways to cope, and be ok with things you can't change. Great App!!!!
So wonderful! Worth it! I was matched quickly with the perfect councilor that specializes in everything I was looking for. She works with us on scheduling, since life gets hectic and I work too. I could select preferences and if needed can change councilors easily, though I don't want to because she is amazing! I can text, call, or video with ease. She gets back quickly and is flexible. This app has exceeded my expectations completely!
This app is so easy to use. I am able to reach my therapist easily. I haven't used everything that is provides but what I have had been easy to use.
Easy and intuitive organization allows for quick scheduling and effective communication. Sessions thus far have been very helpful.
Great service with a great variety of therapists. But the video call feature desperately needs two add-ons: 1) Add 3-person video call feature for partners in long distance relationship. 2) Add picture-in-picture feature, so I can see myself while video calling the therapist. I need to know if my face is in the frame! Also, make your assignment sheets like an editable/interactive form so we can directly write/mark our answers on the form inside the app/website.
Really good therapists on this app. The app could be better designed but that's the only real draw back so far.
makes my relationship into hell do not use this app better help pr regain this is a terrible apps the terapist it makes my relationship broken and the therapist are bias, as a man they did not hear me. i am now attending court at the therapist yvette medina is making fales statement on me just because i drop her as my therapist
Was looking for help and they were able to match us with someone wonderful, having the videochat is great as well as the messaging
In short the chat was pointless because she didn't have the professionalism to be organized so the first session could have been utilized properly. Then not actually have been given a full first session with the late start and it ending early. She canceled the second season at the very last minute. I would have been charged a fee for canceling last minute like that. I tried to give ReGain a chance but I want out and I want a refund because I didn't receive the service I was charged for.
Our therapist, Fritz, is awesome! Not sure if everyone on here responds as fast and is as respectful but we got a great one! Totally worth the cost.
This app (and counselors) are great. It's nice to be able to communicate on a whim and not have to worry about writing it down and saving it until your next session. You can do it when an issue comes up, and you even get feedback from your counselor without having to have an appointment everytime you want to throw something out there. It has been a game changer for sure.
The app itself is ok but an option to have a group chat would be an improvement. Also, like in real life, it takes a while to find the right therapist. Some are better than others not only at helping but also navigating the app. When a therapist is struggling with the technology it makes it hard to have a productive session
A useful tool for those needing counseling but don't have the means to do in person work. We have little kids and it's much more practical to do video sessions and be able to provide background info and some helpful dialogue through messaging in between. Overall, we're happy with the experience.
