When you log in to the app with the correct username and password, absolutely nothing happens. The app freezes on the log in screen. Leave the app running in the background, and it notifies you that you have been logged out. Was I ever truly logged in to begin with? Regions has known about the issue for weeks now according to the reviewers with the same experience, but refuse to fix the issue and roll back to a working version of the app.

App seems to work much of the time. There are times when it gives an error and won't let me log in. Sometimes certain functions aren't avaiable. Also there are fees if you want check deposits processed immediately. The fee is a minimum of $5, and it goes up in cost that is proportional to the value of the check. This is in addition to the monthly fee you must pay for having a checking account. Lots of fees for banking with regions.

Update 5/19- customer service reached out to me and gave me simple instructions to changea setting, and now the app works fine again. Thanks team! App used to work fine, but it randomly decided to not let me log in with my fingerprint OR my typed in password. Once I try to use either, my login info disappears and the app freezes to where I can't click on anything in it

It's not easy to have the check photos captured. It's impossible to get money order pictures captured. Sometimes it works fine but most of the time it simply doesn't work! Update: Recent deposits have mostly been successful.

Usually the app is fine. But this is 2nd time we cant log in. Is says un or pw wrong. But at the computer it works fine so. We have uninstalled reinstalled etc etc. Even gone to the bank. They say uninstall and reinstall. My hubs uses it primarily. He doesnt use computers. Very disturbing that we cant get this corrected. It worked last week so not the phones.

'Unable to process request'. I get that message on both the app and the website when I try to log in. This isn't the first time I've experienced these kinds of issues and I think at this point I can conclusively say that Regions needs to do more to make sure that their apps and website are more reliable.

For basic bank use, it's pretty good. You can deposit checks, transfer money between accounts, and check your payment and deposit history (which is basically all you need it for). However, anything like checking your banking number or changing personal info should be done on a laptop or with a bank teller in a bank. Other than that, the app is good.

The mobile deposit is horrible! I understand that the app/automated system may not be able to read some hand writings on checks, but I have used other banks where if the app was unable to read it, it placed the pictures "in review" and had a person look at it to verify. With this one, if the system can not read it, it only allows you to retake the picture over and over multiple times with no success. This happens on almost all checks I try to deposit.

This is my 3rd and final bank. Customer Service is excellent, and the app is incredibly helpful, and easy to use. I have multiple accounts, credit card, and line of credit, and I can manage each, through the app. I love Regions Bank

I've never had any issues using this app until now. It's been 2-3+ weeks or more, I still can't log in. After I enter in my login info, it freezes. The login button doesn't work! Regions works online but even that kicks me off sometimes, back to the login page.

Can't login. Screen freezes after entering login credentials. Issue has lasted over a week now. I have Uninstalled a few times, cleared cache, restarted phone and nothing has helped. Website works perfectly fine. App is a no go for me currently.

Haven't been able to login. I installed updated app. Update: The mobile app developers contacted me and kept working until I was able to log in. I haven't tried any other features yet. I am happy to be able to log in. Updating to 5 stars because this issue was solved promptly. Thanks

Regions is a great bank if you're local. Do NOT use this bank if you are frequently abroad. The app and web portal has issues functioning with a VPN. Any customer Support during non-US buissness hours is AWFUL. It also doesnt have any function to support a non-us phone number. So if you spend significant time outside the US you could get locked out of your account with no phone recovery system. Lovely experience in the local branches, terrible since I started traveling fot work.

Everything is great up until I need to deposit a check, it use to run very smoothly but lately it's absolutely horrible and won't ever take a picture of the check auto or manual. Please work on this regions.

Finally able to use it. Makes my life easier by allowing me to closely keep up with my accounts. I'll explain the missing star in the rating. Every month I need to transfer my share of the rent to another persons Regions account. The older app used to list her account along with my mine in the pull down Transfer menu. Now I have to go to the drive in ATM, withdraw the cash amount, and then deposit (with her debit card) the cash into her account. I"m aware of the fraud issue and Zelle.

Says it can't find my account. I quadrupled checked my credentials and I keep getting a message saying they can't find my account. I need to make a mobile deposit of a check because I don't have transportation to the bank and I have to pay a bill. It's always something with this bank. Stressful!!

Constantly says it cannot process the action. Sometimes it says that and still completes the action like a deposit. I can't even get it to transfer funds between two accounts. Super frustrating!

Was good until 5/6/22. Now I can't login in. It won't even do the "retrieve user name". I can login on the website but not the app. I've made multiple phone calls for tech support. They just keep telling me that they can't help me with the app. So much for tech support. Have to give it at least 1 star to leave a rating so 1 star it is. If they can't provide any tech support or even any real troubleshooting guidance, does it deserve even 1 star?

I don't know about checks, but I use the app to transfer between my savings and deposit, and I check my balance because I have to so I don't get a $35 fee. It works half the time. It doesn't work later in the day for whatever reason. Half the time I can't even log in because it says it's unavailable or it just trips. The transfers work but I'd like to see my balance more often.

Mobile deposit is a pain now. I've never had an issue with it and have deposited this way many times. Now, no matter how many times I retake a picture I keep getting different error codes saying that my picture isn't well lit or blurry. No matter how many different dark backgrounds and lighting I try I cannot get it to go through. Reading through the reviews, it seems I'm not the only one with this issue. I love regions but this is frustrating. I hope it gets fixed very quickly.

It's a pretty cool app. Normally apps are headache that I really don't deal with, but this one-so far-has no bugs or kinks. The Locking and Transfer features to and from different accounts, are my personal favorites, and you're still able to use those funds even though it still says "pending" in your account. Withdrawals from savings have limits though-you're allowed 3 free-and any in excess you're charged fees. Make wise and needed only decisions. Ciao!

Ok app but depositing checks never work. It appears to capture the front and back of the check but it would never crop the correct section of the check. It kept asking you to use a darker background. When you do, it still doesn't work. Manual capturing also doesn't work. I have no issue with other banking app to make digital deposit. Fix it please.

I'm glad I'm not in an emergency... Everytime it seems I need this app the most it always is slow,or doesn't work or just won't even go past the Regions logo at the beginning when you open this app. Same with their website. If Regions has any scheduled maintenance to do let us know. That way I can't get upset when I'm in need to reach my accounts...Not the first nor the last time I have been put in this position by Regions before.

I only use this app to deposit the rare checks that I receive. In the past it was quick and easy. I could not capture a successful picture After multiple attempts I just gave up. I had the check on a black background. I tried it to do it automatically and manually. I don't really want to get out during an epidemic. It is now Jan 2022. I have only tried to deposit maybe twice since last posting and the app worked fine. Unfortunately I am now experiencing the exact same problems again.
