it's clear they spent a lot of time polishing the data entry flows for submitting a claim on a mobile device. little things like autocompleting the address, lookups by npi, optional provider address, and photo / PDF upload were very streamlined and logically laid out. Claim submission went through to aetna in and was applied to my acct in just a couple days. Very convenient!
I used to truly love this app - best way to file claims. A couple months ago, I tried turning on the feature that would allow the app to track the claim through my carrier and that was a disaster. Not only does that app not actually track my claim, it won't let me tell it what the EOB results were. Grr. This week, I updated to Android 12. That had the side effect of removing the app from my device. What's worse, the app now fails to install on my phone. Double-grr. No longer a happy user :(
I just started using this app, as a recommendation from my provider. I wasn't quite sure how it worked (didn't know about the fees), so I sent a message to the company asking about this. Well, instead of a nice professional explanation, I get a snarky, sarcastic, derisive comment in return, from a "Customer Care" (ha) rep by the name of Jennifer J. She asked me if I was joking. Then asked if I got any free groceries lately (making assumptions I shopped at Costco, or used a delivery service for my grocery shopping). I explained I didn't appreciate her sarcasm, nor have I ever used a paid app before. She then CONTINUES her nasty behavior with a flippant response writing it's surprising I've never used a paid app. and a lame apology. (My app choices are beside the point and an apology doesn't erase her immature, unprofessional behavior.) So, I contact the company to voice a complaint about her, suggesting they get her better CS (or "Customer Care") training (emphasis on CARE), or move her out of that position. I have yet to hear back from anyone. Since it's a small company, who knows if she's the whole CCTeam, or if there is nepotism. Regardless, someone in a service position should not treat others that way. Even if it's something obvious to them, they shouldn't assume other people know. I've worked plenty of service jobs, and have never ONCE treated someone poorly like that. Please make this Jennifer person get proper training. (There might be someone out there who DOES get free groceries.) Teach her empathy and understanding vs. sarcasm and insecurity.
Wow, these people suck! So many problems with the app. No fail-safes, so I accidentally filed claims with the wrong insurance, which should t even be possible on their system. No one will respond to customer service emails and, when they do, they are super rude. Really disappointing.
Hard to imagine a worse interface or more frustrating design. This app might be helpful if it were a website. As it stands, filling out the healthcare provider's forms is much much simpler and much faster.
I had an insurance issue in the beginning that I needed their customer support with and I wasn't a fan that the only contact method was email. It took them almost a month to respond. When I sent a follow up email they handled my issue promptly and haven't had an issues since.
This is a fantastic app. For about 6 weeks I couldn't use it due to an android bug, so I wrote them, and they gave me 10 credits free and fixed the bug! Excellent customer service. Easy to use app for submitting out of network insurance claims. Great overall, def recommend.
Really great app. There was a bug that caused Android users to have trouble submitting claims but once they fixed it, they contacted me to let me know. I hope this company/startup becomes a household name, what a great service to help busy people. I have always filed my own claims but will now use this app.
Update resolved previous sticky-key issue. Completed profile without issue. Would be nice to be able to select date from calendar without having to resort to Date Picker widget but I'm a boomer so what do I know. Gonna recommend this to my colleagues. Full review pending filing/reimbursement on first OON claim.
I am using a pixel 3a XL. When trying to use the apps functionality to take a picture of the card and crop it, it doesn't work. Filing a dental cleaning / checkup claim, I try to put in the diagnosis codes, and it simply says, "invalid diagnosis code", and I can't continue. Having found my dentist as a provider, I assume it is possible file my claim, but no clear steps how. Can't use the app for this dentist appointment.
This is a scam! I used it last month and got updates from the app that my claims were submitted and that I'd receive a check or explanation of benefits within 21 days. Over a month passed and I didn't receive anything, so I called my insurance company, only to find out that NO claims were ever submitted. Not only did I pay reimbursify per claim, I have now lost out on reimbursements for 4 claims that have fallen outside of the time window in the 5 weeks that have passed.
None of the claims I submitted almost two months ago has been received by my insurance company, despite the app saying otherwise. The app provides an option to 'inquire' but all you receive is an automatic email that tells you to check your insurance website for EOB or claims or call your insurance company. I didn't see any EOB or claims in my account, and the insurance co confirmed they have not received anything.
None of my claims were updated in the app once they were either approved or denied so I always had to be reaching out to my insurance company. My insurance company said I'm better off just submitting then directly to them because clearly this app is bad.
I have six outstanding claims with Reimbursify and my insurance indicates they've not received any from Reimbursify. I'm out hundreds of dollars and may have to do all of these by hand AFTER paying for Reimbursify to submit on my behalf. I'm concerned at this point- I'll revise my review if it's resolved, but otherwise, buyer beware.
I don't think it even deserves one star. I submitted my information to them over a month ago and the claim has not even appeared in the portal. My claims are processed faster when I mail them in myself. I sent an email asking for an update and of course I've received no response. Any money spent here is a complete waste. Just mail your claims in yourself
Incredibly simple to use. It made the hassle and time suck of getting reimbursed a thing of the past!
I think there needs to be more care when making sure the claim has been submitted. Most of the time if not all of the time the insurance company never had received the claim. I had to redo all by hand . It was really disappointing.
Downloaded the app and went to signup. I could not get my name in. The letters kept sticking and running together. Bummer. Wanted to try it.
Used to work. Tried contacting support. Items staying in draft mode instead of submitting.
Crashes in a loop when I try to upload photos of my receipt, which is the entire point of the app.
Very useful app, but there's no way to connect with a computer, which makes it tedious to process a large number of claims.
When I try to enter my insurance ID number, it says "hmm, th is doesn't look like a phone number, try again."
Got my money back... will continue to use throughout 2021, I'm sure.
Doesn't work... They submit claims to the wrong BCBS, and refused to refund my money.
Never processed my first and only claim. Complete waste of time. Don't use them. Don't roll the dice with these people.
I just filed 16 claims in about 5 minutes -- unheard of!
Waste of time app. Requires too much manual input work to submit a claim. Instead I just take a photo of the EOB and submit it directly via Blue Shield website
Easy to get reimbursed from the big, bad insurance company!
Worth it!
Makes submitting out-of-network claims easy. It would be nice to be able to edit previously-entered info on a claim/draft before submitting it.
