Relief Maps - 3D GPS for Hiking & Trail Running

Great App! Haven't checked all features. Accurate peak names in my Canadian Rockies locality. (ViewRanger closing. Finding different app for constructing routes and publishing them to a network.) For hyperlocal navigation with 3D view it seems this app would excel. | CONCERNS Map is extremely sensitive w finger. | SUGGESTIONS Adjustment for slower nuanced movement of map. (A) In cold use a stylus or conductive gloves. (B) | FUTURE Test route nav (a) and GPX/KML upload.

I was absolutely amazed after discovered this great application - it's exactly what I'm looking for in last two years. I was just ready to pay for lifetime subscription, when I noticed some wrong altitudes on the map. After more inspections, I found A LOT of similar mistakes (hundreds of them). All of them have the same two errors: 1. position of peak is wrong (very often the peak is located 100-200 m off the real point, somewhere on the steep slope) 2. altitude of a peak not corresponds to surrounding izohypses. So it's hard to say what is the real altitude of a peak. I strongly hope developer will find a way to solve this problem and make this potentially-fantastic app really useful and reliable. Also, one important detail - when planning the personal route, for hikers is very, very important to see altitude profile of the route, (now this is not a case). I sent an email to developer regarding this, but no answer... All in all - app with great potential, but in this stage is not usable.

The maps are impressive, both the terrain visualisation and the performance. However, everything else is very basic and not welll thought off. There is still a bit of work to make it a usable navigation app, maybe it's just missing good testers and people with expertise, if needed I could help. One typical example: you expand the stats bar from the bottom, now you want to close it, you click an (X) icon and that way you have lost your planned route , with no chances to cancel or redo it quickly. Planning the route itself is also a really bizzare process. .

it's an indie app, and it's obviously not as packed with features as google maps for example. but it's amazing at the information it offeres. it's very easy to look around and understand the features you see with your eyes, and what their name is (in case of mountain peaks)

A good 3d map app. I've no major problem with it. Of course, you have to include more details, this is my request. 👍🙂

Cannot open app. Pointless

This is a very frustrating app! It constantly freezes up and has to be rebooted. It loses all my work and I have to start over again. I cannot get it to download the route as a video. Sadly, this really could be great but it is unreliable and very buggy.

No addition over Google Earth or other mapping apps. Appearance is very basic. Covers France only, requires GPS and data to run. Not as user friendly an interface as Mapy.cz for example. Certainly better dedicated mapping apps available. Uses a total of 11.08kb of background data as opposed to GE using 875b.

Cool! I love to be able to explore the map of San Francisco and really be able to see all the hills like on a 3D map! I wish I could exaggerate the apparent elevations by a factor of 2x so the hills stood out even more. Switzerland is also very interesting to scroll over in 3D.

i used it for 5 minutes then i closed it it was frustrating that whenever i wanted to use the main features i hat to buy the extension. Without them it is just an average map

Cute app. Touch screen very laggy and intermittent. Expensive. Subscriptions required for each map and each feature.

Downloaded app with 100% battery, used for an hour, 20% battery remaining. Phone was so hot to touch phyically i could have set fire to something. Removed app from phone forever.

Batiste is very helpful and responsive. Email him if you have questions. Definitely cool to see the 3d relief.

Works very smoothly, navigating is intuitive, rendering quite fast. And it contains the nearest to me currently - Polish mountains!

completely nerfed and useless unless you pay. Which may be worth it. But I'll never know as 30 seconds later I'm uninstalling it since the app maker chose greed over wisdom. Give the user a time trial. Never nerf out of the gate.

Nice app, 3D display is really impressive, love browse whole world with these wonderful satellite map from my tablet !

impossibile to download the maps, at certain points download time increase and never complete it

Nice Google Earth like renderer. Includes topo maps as well as satellite.

3D maps and satellite maps are more much beter than Google earth map
