Reloading Ballistics Lite

Updated for ICS.
This application is an easy to use recipe manager for the reloading enthusiast. Its database interface allows the user to store all the information he needs to complete any reloading task. A recipe consists of a round, a bullet, powder, and grains of powder and can be cross-referenced against various guns that chamber the round. Additional vital information, such as pressure and velocity, can be saved for the recipe/gun combination.

----

Instructions

Clicking on a spinner (drop-down box) will bring up a predefined list of items (recipes, rounds, bullets, etc.), allowing the user to select an item or add a new one. If an item is already selected, long-clicking the spinner will open an edit window so the user can change the information stored for that item.

Force closes when trying to put in new recipe.

I don't recommend this to people that load multiple calibers or use lead rounds. First off you have to buy each individual caliber's data set. If you reload 8 different calibers like I do then you will have to buy them and some of them are expensive. It's cheaper to just go buy a book. Also, it doesn't have lead cast boolits. This is a must for me since that's 90% of what I reload. This is the real downfall in my opinion. The cost is subjective but the lead cast data is a necessity, at least for me.

It seems to store a lot of data but only if you buy their load data. There's no way to add your own information.

The interface is incredibly unintuitive. Couldn't make heads or tails of what was going on when I tried to enter information. Don't waste your time.

The free version is ok. It comes with little to no data and allows you to make your own recipies. The database info costs a bit per caliber.

I think the fact that people don't know to delete the samples probably deters people because they think they have to pay more. I would limit your samples to 1 or 2 and let people know to delete them so they can enter more.

Epic fail! The app does not work at all instantly locked up.

I like the app, cool idea but could have used more free samples of different calipers or have a free sample of a new caliber every month would be nice,it be even better if you could create your own load

not surgical but close enough to get a decent dope chart.

Pretty lame, you can only use .308 caliber. You have to pay for any other ones

Have to buy each load data? Thats silly and not practical. Im writing my own so thanks for making this app so bad :)

Only has load data for basic S&W 500 factory rounds needs to be up dated to include solid copper projectiles and so on as well as different weights of bullets like 300gr, 325gr, 400gr, 425gr and even 700gr from half jackets to full jackets as well as lead and hard cast including gas check and semi wad cutter and wad cutter once all this is included it will be awsome love the idea though if it can be updated this will be my one stop shop for load data

You have to purchase everything individually in data packs

Great note book

Ker. W. Jul 4, 2015

No data other than samples until you send master card numbers. Curious tho...app previews on play store shows primer on recipe screen yet input screens show no place for primer type/brand. Uninstalling!!

Pet. M. Aug 8, 2013

Nothing free about this. Must buy all data!

A. G. u. Sep 19, 2012

This is a trial app looking for you to purchase the main app. This app has zero reloading data with this free version. If you have a reference book to input ballistic data than you can get around the purcase price.

Pat. E. Jan 31, 2013

Very near app. Can change powders, bullets and play with charges and automatically see change in expected velocity and energy.

Missing a lot of common rounds, and no cast data...
