Remootio is a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled end-to-end encrypted smart remote controller, that makes your old gates and garage doors smart. With Remootio you can control and monitor your gates and garage doors using your smartphone.

Bought it to work with Google home. It worked for a few months then just stopped. Support took me thru a bunch of steps that just never made it work. So many steps the app didn't work. then they ghosted me. Just a paperweight now.
Okay in theory but definitely wish I didn't waste my money on this... I'll be sitting at the gate right next to the box and it takes at least 5 minutes to connect to Bluetooth. You also can't have the app open or you have to hard close it then open the app again. Which for the auto open you need to have the app open so catch 22 really... Fairly useless
The app could see some improvements. For example to see all (or at least) more devices on one page. If you have more devices it needs you to swipe back and forth to get to the device you want to control. There is some delay around 5-10 seconds after selecting the device before it comes online (when controlling over wifi or internet). So far works pretty well.
Extremely good product. App works great. Love the features. Did a ton of research before deciding on this product and glad I did. Update....customer service is excellent! I had a small issue, sent them an email and got a response late that day!! I have a feeling that some of the poor reviews are operator error or wifi issues within peoples network. This product is excellent and works perfectly!
Great idea in theory. If only it worked. Keeps crashing on both my samsung S7 and Samsung S9+. When it does manage to keep working takes about 20 seconds to react to any button push. Have to keep forcibly stopping the app then it will connect to the device and I only get a single use, then have to forcibly stop app again and reopen it to use. One of the most frustrating apps I have ever used. #Footnote: Just tested the app on my wifes iPhone seems to operate much better on the ios platform. Perhaps the developers could spend a bit of time ironing out the Android bugs
Constantly getting an error from Google saying "remootio is unavailable right now". Issue on remootio side not providing a stable connection. Happens 70% of the time, defeats the purpose of having the controller integrated with my smart home. Update: getting worse, now it's taking ages to connect via internet, fails to connect or action often, auto-open rarely works or is so slow it's useless, and getting false positives, where google says garage closed, but actual remains open. Not reliable.
Randomly opens the door by itself when already inside the zone. Most times auto open does not work when entering the zones. I have 2 units at different sites and both do the same with multiple users. Remootio will not answer messages after originally being very helpful. Product has a lot of potential but they won't help! Must be too hard!
Over 2 months since purchase,and app doesnt work as it should.Customer service is OK,but takes them approx 5-10days to respond.After 13 emails final answer was: "We've been looking at this internally and apparently this is a bug that occurs with some smartphones. We have a phone app release + remootio software release coming up and we will fix this bug there, or at least provide a workaround to make the menu appear. Sorry for the inconvenience".That was nearly 3 weeks ago... When is the update?
Dear Remootio, love the concept, love the product but a few little bugs could do with ironing out... Google Assistant voice control only seems to like a 5 digit password (discovered after hours of frustration!) The connection via internet is intermittent which makes it frustrating to use with Google Assistant (WiFi and Bluetooth work a dream so I'm not sure why it struggles to communicate). I'd recommend this product but not if you predominantly want it for the voice control (like me).
Cant seem to get the app to connect to the device. My phone can see the remootio bluetooth, but cant pair to it, and the remootio app says no new devices are found. My phone is right next to the device which has a flashing white light
Fantastic companion app to the equally brilliant gate opening device. Totally transformed the way we use our gate for the better; ditched the unreliable RF remotes completely and using this exclusively instead.
Bought this for auto open. Just doesn't work. Everything else does but I already had a door remote

Bought specifically for auto open, but had only worked once. Either doesn't work entirely, or it's so slow I've usually found and used the Rf remote. Pretty useless.
This is absolutely brilliant. Took me maybe 10 - 15 minutes to install for my garage door worked 100% instantly and so far no problems at all. Very affordable and easy to use.
Can't get auto-open working. Logs show it's detected me moving into the opening zone, says it's activating auto-open but garage door doesn't open via internet or bluetooth
Akchuly in my country(sri lanka) we do not have blotootherble gates. so can you plz make a new app that do not won't toconnect it wuld be so help full but this app works i so the resalt from my lap with a software. this app works very good for blootootherble gates, so 🙏 thanx for this app
Won't work with WiFi. Sent a key to another phone now won't work with the original phone. Tried resetting everything now the app won't even recognise the receiver
How do I stop the notification on an Android S10 that says remootio is still running? Getting very annoying...

The idea of this app with the device is really good. Everyone has his own key etc.. I'm using the device with Bluetooth only and it has issues with showing the keysand this really bothering me! other thinks such as closing the key for others... It works fine but showing keys has issues. the idea How the app work with the device is great but the design I mean the app interface is bad. I think It's hard for some people to use and sing in the app. I hope you it supports Arabic language and WearOS.
