Remote Control For DSTV

It works perfectly well provided your phone has an infra-red sensor. At first i thought it doesn't but not really it does work if your phone meet the requirements such having an infra-red sensor and you picking the correct remote for your decoder. If it doesn't work despite your phone having the infra-red sensor keep on trying different remotes you will find a correct one. Keep it developers

All the fault I enumerated before have been corrected as such I deleted my first rating. Botton 2 is now working perfectly and the advert now occupy little space down which is also great. The App is as good as having the remote control hardware. Its now perfect and I recommend it for all.

Not a useful or great experience - frankly a waste of time. Decoder does not pick up the remote and the app's feedback is that my device must then not have remote control abilities. Given that I use it as a remote for other devices, I know that this is not true.

Great App but the only challenge I have is that I cannot save a remote as favourite. You'll have to scroll through the remotes anytime you have to use it, quite tasking if you have multiple devices.

Don't like the full screen ads every few clicks and the volume control works on the TV instead of the decoder. Other than that, it works perfectly.

Does not function. My phone has an infrared emitter. Huawei, and none of these remote control apps work. This app makes you download in-app, so you spend more data on something useless, sadly before you have a chance to actually test the app.

very uselesss app. not working. downloaded it on so many phones just to test if it was my device that had the issue. turned out it was the app. do not download. i repeat do not download. i wish there was a rating lower than one star.

Works perfectly.... Don't be discouraged by the negative reviews... I almost didn't download after reading some bad reviews... Took a leap of faith and it worked well with no fuss.. Guess you have to select the correct remote. Great App

Was unaware I had to select the type of remote i needed first. Once I did it works great and is easy to use because its the same layout as the original remote.

You're a very useless developer, I'm pretty sure the remote on this app is just an image, rubbish, asking for infared red or and aux cord for alternative, I used the aux, still didn't work, trash!!!!!!! 🤬

This is a useless app that doesn't work. After 5 clicks, ads pop up and I've tried all the remotes 10 times and none of them work. I really want google to look into these types of scam apps before giving them licence to publish on the play store. Waste of time!!!

The latest update is annoying.. When i press the volume up button, it promotes "this is a tv button, select TV to proceed"... I prefer the previous version.

Good app, works great except for the TV on the remote. It switches my TV off. Other than that, everything works perfectly

This app works perfectly,people are giving it bad reviews because they don't phones that have ir blaster, the only thing I don't like is the ads but since it's a free app so it's a given to have ads

This App didn't work for me. Tells me the device doesn't have a transmitter.. Reading the troubleshooting on the link given also isn't helpful.

Works almost perfectly.. The only problem I have is I can't select 6 on the remote when entering a channel number instead of searching. Otherwise great app!

its a nice experience at fast i selected a wrong remote and i was dissapointed thinking the app doest work but latter on i selected the right remote and it works perfectly its only the volume buttons that dont work but the rest is oky so thanks alot dstv ..plus you need to have IR on your phone most phones dont have it

The back button on my dstv explora remote stopped working. Just installed this app and tried it....found my remote in app and it works beautifully.....better than my actual remote!!!!! Thanks for this!!! :)

I chose not to rate this app much because it has proven to be a complete waste of my time. If the app is not fit for use, it shouldn't be released on the play store. Customers beware. Don't waste your subscription on this. The developer needs to do more work. My phone has all necessary sensors required for the proper functioning of the app, however, it didn't still work. As such, the fault is from the developers.

Volume buttons stopped working since the last update. Without the volume buttons the app is useless to me. Uninstalling.. The recent update didn't change anything. Please do not install.

Trash it, it doesn't work with my explora. It's was a waste of my time downloading it. While trying to operate this app it keeps vibrating without positive response on the decoder.

Nice and working perfectly. Forget all the negative reviews, their phones do not have an infra red that is why it can't work. PS. Ur phone needs to have an infrared for it to be able to work.

This app does not work at all. One star for taking their time. Their solution the app not working is to become an electrician getting other devices to be connected to your phone

Good App, never looking for the remote again... And the best thing is I can always call my phone when I cannot see it 😂😂

Mate 10, some functions work, others don't, and some are switched around. The classic PVR Remote app works way better... Cannot understand why google showed this app on top of the list

Very bad and frustrating. Since the latest update the volume button and the number 2 button stopped working. It's just bad. What's the update then for?

I like the app. My problem is that I cannot pause, the number six button isn't working. Some functions are limited... Otherwise it's a good app
