Remote Control For JBL Sound Bar

Great app, especially useful as my cinema sb200 had water damage and couldn't manually be operated. However, limited functionality as input selection doesn't work with my speaker (I e Bluetooth, aux, optical)

Remote works as advertised, but I only have a range of roughly 6 feet, and I must be directly in front of the soundbar for it to work. Other than that, fantastic alternative to the physical remote.

Does not work with my new JBL 5.1 soundbar at all. I am using a galaxy s9 (older versions had Infrared Blasters). It seems they relied on this tech staying with newer models of phones. However, phones removed the IR blaster years ago. Their only suggestion (yes, suggested by their app) is to use an external IR Blaster adapter that plugs into the phone.... that renders apps specific to one brand useless. If anyone had an IR adapter, why not just universally send IR codes instead of this app?

Doesn't work with JBL 2.0 The app relies on your phone having an IR transmitter to allow it to replicate the signaling from the OEM remote and control the soundbar IR transmitters long disappeared from most Android phones. So, no IR on your phone, no point having this app.

Thank You soooo much. I bought JBL Cinema SB 350 day last sunday, surprisingly , the remote didnt work. Spoke to the seller and he promised to look into it. I was wondering whether the problem is with remote or the bar... Downloaded the app....works JUST PERFECT. Will get the button battery of remote changed and hope it works. I have JBL 5.1 soundbar and it's works perfectly fine, the only thing I can't control is rear speaker volume, but renaming other option are working with this app. Happy with it. 🔥🔥

Works perfect with my JBL soundbar. People in the comments with negative reviews probably try to use it with other JBL speaker models. I lost my remote and now finally i can control everything from the phone. Thanks a lot to the developers for their time / efforts!!!

Everything works perfectly fine, just the adds are boring. It doesn't feel like a proper remote with the weird pop ups

It works perfectly with my JBL SB 250. After my phisical remote functional issue my soundbar did not work. But with this app remote it's working now. Thanks for the dev team.

Just wow. Was worried about how to get duplicate remote for jbl SB 250 sound bar. Finally i don't know how i came to know and got this app. Ita working. Thanks to the app developer. For the people not working might be your phone does not have infrared. Only phone with infrared will work.

I have a JBL 350 soundbar connected to my TV. This app doesn't connect or work or anything. Let me know if is it possible to control the sound bar with this app as my remote is broken.

This is actually working like a charm, gets the job done with ease... Definitely a must have app for those who lost their remote or broken it as it is frikin delicate.

This really works fantastic for my JBL 250 sound bar. As the original remote got damaged due to its poor quality but found this app and happy for its functioning..

Some of the options don't work, in all a good replacement! Is there a button for the surround sound volume?

great it's working fine but there is no play/pause and in USB next/previous songs button missing please add this two options

Im sure this works great if your phone has an "ir blaster" If your phone doesn't have that, it does not work.

If you click missing remote it literally makws you take a picture of the remote. You cant upload one off the internet or camera roll. So how the **** am i supposed to take a pic if its missing...?

There is only one remote control option, and that's not connecting to my JBL CINEMA SB150 sound bar. No remote option for my model

Works for me. A bit slow loading at the start but it means i dont have to walk to the tv.

Works, that is all i will say. I am happy with the fact that it works better than the Harman kardon app

Most buttons doesn't work for my Jbl soundbar 5.1 surround. Hope they can develop more functionality to control.

Stays minutes to load I don't know what, and then crashes. Useless!

Very efficient app, I love using this virtual remote more than the original one.

Check whether your phone has an IR BLASTER first otherwise do not waste your time downloading. Evidently is not compatible with A50s

Tried with external IR connected through OTG - microUSB but the app could not dectect it

Remote works.... Would love it if it was more model specific... But still a good job by the creators...
