Remote Control For TCL TV

It mostly works. My remote died, and I'm waiting for slow poke amazon to deliver a new one. Thankful for this app!!!! I have health issues, and am in a flare. I'm watching a lot of tv while I wait to feel better. I would hate to be without tv for the next several days! This app saved me! I gave it a 4, because the ads are ridiculous. You can be fast forwarding something, and all of a sudden you accidentally hit an ad. Also, my tv settings don't work for dimming, etc. Overall, solid 4

This app.works good. It saves me from having to search the bed for the remote. I have 5 TCL Roku smart TVs in my house and since I found the remotes on Amazon for about $5.00 there are probably 12 remotes in the house. I still use this app more often. It works well most of the time. Sometimes I have to push a button several times to get the command to work. The app has better range than the TV remote.

It works well, it is really helpful. But, unfortunately, it includes lots of ads during the use and sometimes it doesn't connect properly with the TV. Good choice and the only remote control that works (on MY TV).

There's only one remote choice available. I'm sure that if I had that particular remote for that particular TV this app would work great. Unfortunately, neither the smart TV nor the infrared mode works for my TCL. The app, as it is, is far too limited.

It didn't work for my non smart TV , it doesn't offer different versions of the tcl remotes, and it couldn't even send in a proper form for a lost remote. Overall fail. Sorry guys. Usually I try to make nice reviews but this app needs a lot of work.

Great in the right phone that has the capability. Not all phones have this. I do find no response for certain functions so I can only turn off TV. I am not sure if phone, TV or app problem.

I hate that the ads make sound but you get what you get when it's free. Lol works great otherwise. Wish it didn't close out when I switch between apps but again, it's free. I'll probably end up buying the app.

It works....BUT.... the remote constantly sticks. If you tap a button it will stick, so for eg, you press right it will stick and continuously go right till you press it again. And this happens on every second tap. Really annoying.

It's an amazing app! Really helpful and useful because my actually remote was destroyed recently, this saved my life omg. The only problem I have with it is that there would be many times it all of a sudden can't find the device. But great app overall ♡

It's a good app the only problem is that ads pop up while you are using it. Like whenever I am changing channels are controlling volume the ads pop up in between.

1 star because it was working, but it's impossible to use it for longer than 1 day because so annoying it is. To many ads, disconnecting all the time and turns off TV automatically while disconnecting.

there is an option ,if your remote does not appear out of the two remote choices (then a screen comes up and says if your remote is missing upload a picture of it) Well Einsteins,if I knew where the remote was, I wouldn't need the app would I?so how am I going to upload a picture of a missing remote???? I can't even fathom the stupidity of that!! 👍 well done

Stupid app. There is an option to select "remote control is missing" and at the bottom it says upload remote picture..the only option is to take picture from your phone's camera. What the heck. The remote is missing so... ??????

It worked well for basic operation like volume, program, turn off. Very useful when you sometime not able to find your remote.

A total waste! It will not connect, both of my devices are connected to the same WIFI & it doesnt work! ZERO starts from me If I had the option.

Don't waste your time on this stupid app, it's the 2nd time i try it and still sane problem, it can't find my tv eventho both my phone and tv connected to the same network also when i try infra-red option it doesn't work too 👍totally useless

Works find.. but its a basic tv controller. Will be good if it can also have Home button and Netflix etc as a quick button. Perhapz as an upgrade.

TV's no longer have power buttons..I don't know who's dumbass idea that was. But you can't turn on the TV unless the remote is connected and it can't connect unless the TV is on...

Every 2 days or so i have to uninstall and re-install the app as the "remote" just disappears from the screen. Frustrating. But other than that its nice to use.

Fantastic! Lost the remote, SMART TV remote not working but was able to use this app and the IR on my phone to control the TV!!

Terrible... not easy to use after 15 minutes of trying to set it up I am done. I feel like these people owe me money for all of my data I'm sure they're collecting and selling even after I delete this terrible app. Thanks for wasting my time for your personal benefit...

"Your smart TV must be turned on" for the remote to pair. What? If I could turn it on, work it manually, I wouldn't need to download a substitute remote. Useless.

It is useless. It needs to have ur TV connected to the same WiFi. No other option as well for remote control

This app only works for like 2 mins at a time! Had to constantly restart the tv for it to connect for only a minute or two

Exactly like the real remote. Ads every 50 or so presses so not really an issue. Saved me!

Hooray! No more endless searching for the tv remote! Easily control our smart tv from anywhere in the house.

I was using this remot with another fone and it works perfectly now i wanted to use it with my other fone a leel samsung but my fone deosn't work as a remote so this app helps you how to make a leel thing to put in were headfones go. Loved it cause it also helped you to explain all of this💖

It's asking me for a image of my remote and I can pass that part if I could find my remote I would not be using the app I'd be using the remote this app is garbage!!!
