The Remote for Apple TV app can be used as a remote control for jail-broken Apple TV (2nd generation) only.

* PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING/RATING !!! ****If your Apple TV 2nd generation is NOT jail broken, this app will not work. If it is jail broken on version 4.4.4 or above, please follow the steps below. The app should work! if not , you probably did not read that your Apple TV 2nd generation should be JAIL-BROKEN or did not installed AirControl(Beta). Do not use in combination with Navi-X.It is very easy:
- Download this app and install AirControl(beta) on your jail-broken Apple TV from the maintenance menu. If your do not have the maintenance menu please install aTV Flash(black) version 1.7 or above first!
- In this app, go to settings and enter the IP of your Apple TV.
- To use the keyboard for XBMC press menu and tap on : "XBMC-Keyboard" enable remote over http and do NOT enter any username and password! This will be added in another update.
- Start using your new remote !

It is just too much work to set up even though there other apps for only certain phones but this was the only one...
Don't waste your time or space on mobile device. I did everything it said to connect it to my Apple TV and it still didnt work. App froze several times and kept opening up the ads. Im Deleting this app!
I did all the steps required and nothing happened.
I have attempted to type in the rest of my IP address but it wouldn't type in the last number, and I have tried multiple ways to take it work but they were all fails. Until it allows to type in more of the IP address, it's useless to me.
...now the controls are off centre I.e. to select a button I must press the screen 2 cm below and to the right of the button graphic.
This app does nothing i keep on tapping on it nothing happens so if i were you i wouldn't get this app😠👎
Doesn't work at all on my HTC One M8 with Apple TV.
Unless you have a jailbroken Apple TV, this will not work at all, not for one second, not in any way, shape, or form.
I have Apple TV and it just won't connect. Really disappointed.

This app is a waste
The free version requires you to manually enter your device's ip address. If you manage to get it working, prepare yourself for ads everytime you hit a button, timed ads that make you sit for 5 seconds. Spare yourself from this substandard, cynically designed waste of code, i wish i did.
