Finally I have found a remote app to work for my old DVD/Vhs combo player. This is the only app I have found that has an eject button or actually works for my player as my eject button doesn't work and neither does my remote and you cannot buy combo players anymore. So far so good. Will have to keep you updated.
Doesn't work. It's a smart TV. Why do I need IR on my phone for it to work? It should use WiFi. The remote app for DISH works fine on my phone. The DISH app even changes the volume on my smart LG TV. Also, every time I pushed a button, an ad popped up. Ridiculous.
When I try to connect to my Smart TV, a box says "Smart Devices List", but doesn't actually list any devices. If I tap outside the box, I have the remote control layout, but it isn't functional.
It could sense, could not press the buttons and control it on the TV it's not like the one that I saw on someone else's phone that was at my house. It should be because I typed in the right thing in the search bar. Why does this happen? I wanted to sense very good please. It tapped whenever I tapped it with my finger but now it's not working on the screen. I press everything what is going on right now!? Fix it there is no LG TV choose! I want there to be because it's what my TV is unfortunately.
The app keeps stopping and every time I cut the tv off i have to rescan the remote what if i lose my remote i cant rescan and use the remote. At this point the app is useless. So im uninstalling the app. PS: I do have a LG SMART TV
Never got it work with my pixle phone, after frustrating research i THINK it was because my phone was uncompatible evwn though it was new. My bf has on his phone Nd it does work kinda on our older lg tv althugh ot was very alow as all function not work only the arrow and power buttons
Disconnects from TV after 2 mins of inactivity. Not really useful it i have to grab my TV remote to connect to the app everytime I need to change the channel.
100%!!! I had a blu-ray player with no remote. Tried several things to get it to work. This worked instantly. No set up. Lg g5 on lg blu-ray bp220
The first time I was able to connect this app to my dvd player. I got a new phone and now i can't find any directions on how to set it up again. So clear (easy to find) instructions on how to connect new devices would be nice...
Waste of time. How can I get tv to accept this app if I can't use original remote. If I wax able to use original remote I wouldn't need this app.
i was able to connect right away on my LG SH3K (B6) power and volume works fine but it would be nice to have a bass button.
I have LG Smart TV without WiFi, so I was not able to access smart functions with infrared option.
Total waste of time and phone space it never works never tried to work never once gave a hint that it would work
SCAM! The only thing it did was redirect me to download other things that had nothing to do with the TV.

Great remote! It found my old LG smart TV over wi-fi (I don't have IR on my phone) right away.The other apps including LG Electronics.inc apps could not find my TV! This app is easy to set up. The on funct doesn't work on mine, but the off does. Nice app overall works for me.
