Remote For LG webOS Smart TV

Incredibly convenient! With a solid number of people in our household losing the remote can become a common issue. Though it is always found it's nice to have this app around just in case. So far hooking it up is incredibly easy and using it is accurate without any bugs or glitches. Thank you!

When it works it's good. Constantly disconnects. So every time I need it. I have to wait to connect it again. It's like Dial up Internet. You never know if it'll work right away! Super annoying waiting and hoping it'll reconnect. Get another app. This isn't worth your time.

It works but some stuff don't work but it is good only because I don't want to run my battery down for controller and it's good for that it might need some updates to improve it a bit more but apart from that it's ok but it is annoying when it disconnects every time even though my phone I could have a good 20 different apps open as a window and I can access to all the apps at different apps when i want to control my TV again I've got to reconnect it afterwards which planet takes the mick

Its good enough to live with until you get a replacement... it does lose connection every now and then but simple enough to reconnect... ads can be a little annoying but unless you pay all remotes are probably the same...

This remote has worked perfectly for me. I mostly use it for the volume control and to turn the bedroom TV off. The thing that sux which I do not blame on this LG controller is the TV has to already be on to use it. So when I lose my actual TV controller tha part sux. Lol that is my fault 🤣. I give this remote for LG 5 stars because I have never had any issues with it and I have not has any issues with it

Good app. I like the ability to use IR or smart remote connectivity. Unfortunately I'm still getting ads after paying for gold membership. Would be nice to be able to change the background.

Downloaded the app cause out remote was giving trouble and I gotta say the app succeeded in what it set out to do especially with minimal ads. Only downside is that your phone needs a wifi connection in order to connect to your TV others no real issues.

It's not very responsive. It doesn't fit to the phone's screen. It doesn't have shortcuts for Netflix, Amazon Prime, or programmable buttons like the stock remote. I really don't know how this was popular with anyone under 60.

Works perfectly. I tried several other apps but this is the only one that worked properly with a smart tv. Other apps adjusted the volume or turned over channels but this is identical to my original remote. I'm constantly losing my remote so it's great to be able to use my phone

Love the app lost my remote and is more amazing then the remote it's self although sometimes when you click a. Button it doesn't work over all 4.6/5 the adds aren't that bad since you can just click x without struggling

Full screen ads constantly popping up with sound while using the remote are a pain and if you're looking at your TV scrolling through channels they are very easy to click on. However my real remote stopped working. Downloaded this & switched it to the IR setting and done. easy as that... Thanks

Given one star as can't post with no stars. I downloaded this app after misplacing the tv remote, I have found a major flaw with is app, something other app manage perfectly well with, this remote is great if your tv is turned on, you can use the remote as normal even to turn the TV off, however pressing the power button or any other button on the remote will not work when turning the tv on, and that's why I said great if your tv is already on, but useless if it's switched off 👎👎👎

There's adds that pop in-between tapping. So basically while raising the volume you'll quickly tab multiple times in a row and an add will appear between taps which brings you to the adds website. So annoying. Other than that, works amazingly!

Very nice, easy to use. But it only regiter one command per tap. It's not a very convenient when you try to change the volume in a big number. But overall, it's quite nice.

It works well. Doesn't have my exact remote but a similar one does most things. Like the touchpad but not sure what the keypad option does. Good backup if the physical remote goes missing.

Well my TV is Lg. I loved the intro. But I could only press a button, and press what kind of remote I'm on. It loads and loads forever. All these "PHONE ON REMOTE" apps never work. Had to write lots of reviews in a day if I had to tell you how I felt about the apps. I never got a chance to Do it not even once in these apps! Please edit. Thanks!

The only things that work on the remote are the channel and volume buttons but luckily it has a touchpad and I can do everything with it. For that I'm thankful! It does sometimes lose its connection but I think it starts back up pretty quickly so it's not that bad.

It worked when I installed it, the app connected with my TV but not sure why after one hour then it couldn't connect. I uninstalled the app then reinstalled it and worked again for a while and then lost connection again and couldn't use it. Also I know they need to make money but the advertising are annoying and some inappropriate.

I downloaded and installed. All good until I tried to use "input", "my apps" and all other stuff. It just worked with volume. Picked two remotes for smart TV that I could find. Same issue. You don't have mine so I guess bye 👋.

You can't use this app to select inputs, so it's pretty much useless. You can use it to change volume and channels, and to turn off the TV. But that's about all it can do. It looks pretty... Just like our actual physical remote. But it's simply not functional as almost all the buttons do nothing.

Loses connection with tv after about a minute of inactivity, then takes FOREVER to reconnect (even with strong wifi). Makes watching streaming content with it very frustrating, especially when you lose the ability to pause at crucial moments. When it is connected it works pretty well tho, better than some other LG remote apps

Good app which makes it user friendly because of its actual remote design. But this cannot substitute an actual remote, mostly because ads randomly appear covering the entire screen tricking u to click on them when u actually want to press the remote buttons.

Works better than the first LG remote app I tried, but still not all functions are there. I like that it has different remotes that you can select and try, but none was an exact match to mine. Once again I say, NEVER lose your TV remote!

So, I can change the volume, turn the tv off, and use the arrow buttons.. The keyboard, okay button, and the button that pulls up all of the smart channels do not work so this is basically useless. I got this app because I couldn't find my remote and I am extremely unhappy and disappointed

PREATY It's going well with my LG WEBRO TV but the problem there are some buttons aren't working at all eg numerical buttons, it needs the same connection (WiFi) as that of your phone(can't used data or connection code) and you can't browse or search sth in YouTube using this app. The department need to look into that.

Works well in a pinch. Hopefully your tv is already connected to network as that is needed for it to work and configuring it with the available button on my model isn't an option.

Terrible, I can't get the app to work. It has the remote I need, but it won't work on the TV. When ever I tap a button it turns the TV off. This is some weird prank app. Terrible app.

The only thing that work on this controller for me are the mute, volume button and up, down, left and right. This is not really helpful as i am trying to find an online controller that works till i can get an actual replacement one.

Works just like my original remote ! Not complicated at all. Just pick the remote that looks like yours and bingo ! Back in control once again !! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT !
